Very comfortable, nice staff, and we appreciated the precautions they took in light of covid-19. We also loved the free wine service!! The bed was very, very comfortable and we loved the pjs. 10/10 would recommend.
we made a short trip to Otaru to visit some of its good izakayas, we took a room with 4 beds, it was a nice surprise the distribution of the spaces in the room. Our room had two almost separate areas, in the main area two beds and a couch, the second area was a small terrace with the other two beds, the access to the terrace was a staircase in the room. the terrace was a very pleasant space, even though it is not possible to stand in the terrace area because the ceiling is very low, the terrace gives an air of independence being in the same room, each bed has its space to recharge the cell phone and has an independent lamp. our room had an elegant glass balcony with a beautiful view. the shower area is very elegant with a fairly modern and clean design. the television system was fun too, our room had a projector with a very good video quality I really liked my stay at the hotel and I hope to stay there again soon…
Visited Unwind Hotel for a two night stay and had a perfect experience. Warm and friendly staff couldn’t do enough to assist us during our stay. Room was very comfortable and well decorated and the location couldn’t be better. Enjoyed the “afternoon tea” style breakfast and throughly took advantage of the free wine hour in the hotel bar. We were very touched with the extra care given to us to celebrate our special occasion. Thanks for a great stay and we will be back for sure!
Beautifully restored boutique hotel in an absolutely perfect location for exploring Otaru. The service is kind and thoughtful - it was my birthday and they helped my husband had arranged for the room to be decorated, an amazing six course menu in the Ball (with my favourite songs playing) champagne at the bar and a cake to be sent up after dinner. They offer you super comfy pyjamas at check in along with a delicious ginger tea. There is also a free wine hour with local Hokkaido wines on offer. We just fell in love with the Unwind Hotel and would 100% recommend it.
Great location, Unique and definitely it is one of its kind to provide that unique experience. Room is as usual, small. Private attached toilet & bath are seperated. Breakfast is English high tea style, no refill, not buffet. High tech equipment in room. Car park is limited (only 5 lots) and expensive too. Park at the opposite public car park is needed. ... finally the best part of the stay should be the FREE flow of wine during happy hour. DO NOT MISS IT.
