We stayed here for a few days using it as a base to touring the countryside and Takayama.The rooms are somewhat small and utilitarian but comfortable .For the price we expected better accommodation however.

This hotel is quite Japanese with Western concessions. No shoes throughout is fine. Great public and private baths. Free washing machines and cheap dryers are available. Ambience is a pleasant change. Biggest challenges were beds on the floor and foam based. Not comfortable for me....More
Joy this place is not really a ryokan. It is a Japanese hotel in the city. There are lots of places to have dinner within a 5-10 minute walk. We had our breakfasts included in our room and it was great
