Hi! I don’t think any ryokan in Japan would discriminate against foreign guest with tattoos. However, they do have a strict rule for entering the public bath. If the ryokan offers a public bath, chances are you aren’t allowed to enter the bath. But not to worry, each room at Kakurean Hidaji has a private bath you can soak in without any worries or concern.
