We booked a 3 bedroom villa for our family and couple not have been happier with the rooms. The pictures don’t do it justice. The privacy of the villa along with the private pool was a big hit with our family. A 3 minute walk along the beach took us to the main pool and restaurants so this was perfect for us. We had the good fortune of meeting the manager Christophe and his team. The staff was attentive and ensured every request was met and eventually began anticipating needs before we even thought of them. Friendly warm staff that genuinely did their best to take care of my family- it’s the reason I write this review. Thank you Christophe for making our trip memorable. From great advice on marble mountain and visiting the pretty old town of hoi Ann to providing an exceptional bbq at our villa the staff was exceptional- thank you Nancy. Hard to beat this place. It’s sitting in the middle of one of the best beaches in the world, the resort is stunning and the staff were wonderful.

Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang is a stunning property situated right on the beach - white sand, crystal clear, pristine clean and warm waters - a paradise. First up, I would like to thank and commend the Pool Bar staff, DUY, Giang Son, Trinh, Long Ting and Nhung for their kindness and friendly attention, especially Duy for organising our favourite Vietnamese dish which was not on the menu - thank you to Chef Mr. Ky. I would also like to commend and thank the lovely breakfast staff who took such good care of us and were so kind - thank you very much Thy Dan Thi, Nguyen, Vi, Tam and Dat. Thank you also to Hang and Linh at reception and Trung at The Oriental Restaurant. Very comfortable and clean rooms, excellent bedding. The menu is limited, especially if your booking package included food and beverage vouchers...a mix-up took place about the vouchers, which was stressful when one is trying to have a relaxing holiday; however, we later received a written apology and chocolates. There is no local shopping, so you must take a taxi to any shopping centre districts: the hotel shop is very expensive indeed. Great place to stay if you love a beautiful beach and kind staff.

Vinpearl Luxury Danang managed to do something no hotel has ever been able to do before - both underwhelmed and overwhelmed me at the same time. This is going to be a long review - and I will remain as objective as I much as can to ensure I am not swayed by my personal feelings about the experience - but I won’t know how good will I be at that. Check in. We were greeted with the most unenthusiastic service staff we have ever met in our lives. A mall security guard would have greeted us with more warmth and sincerity. It could have been a bad afternoon for the lobby staff that must have affected their mood that afternoon. The lady that checked us in sounded unsure of what was happening — stressing the best feature of the resort was the safety box in the room! She could have told us about the pool view, or the amazing beach, or the happy hours at the pool, but no, she decided that the safety box in the room was the best feature to communicate to us. Pool. The pool was truly breathtaking! Truly! There were at least 5 lifeguards on duty. There were a lot of rules about how to carry yourself especially around the pool area — such as no diving, and no spitting, but all these were done right in front of the guards and nothing was done. A “smoking bong” was passed around in the pool and still nothing was said about it. I guess it is a norm to have a bong in the pool? We were quite bamboozled by the whole scene of guest screaming and jumping into the pool — when so many rules were being put in placed about the pool. Pool Bar. We love the idea of a pool bar having happy hours — which they do, 4-7 ( or was it 4-6 ), but not the idea of being at their mercy to come and get our orders. We moved to the pool chairs closer to them to get their attention, and it was a painful first day experience. All I wanted was a glass of red, a simple glass of red and I was asked if I would like it hot or cold, and if I would like a steak to go with it. That’s fine. Maybe they are trainees. Understandable. They show a huge improvement the next day after we share our unpleasant experience with the floor manager, Mr Chau. Unpleasant experience (experiences). On our second day, we had our room made up. Everything was as per the usual standard, but we were quite surprised that they forgot to replenish the bath gel. Could be an overlook. So we gave housekeeping a call — only to have them hang up on us. We can understand language can be a barrier, but there are a thousand ways that could have been handled instead of hanging up just because you do not understand. That was truly the impetus to us having to have a word with the floor manager about our experiences, only on the second day of our stay. We approach the whole discussion as ways they can improve as we do not want other patrons to experience the same thing. After the discussion. We noticed a slightly better improvement in service the very next day. The pool bar were a lot more proactive in asking guests if they would like drinks. The lady in charge of the buffet breakfast was a lot more cordial the next day too ( she was not happy we asked about hot coffee, side note, you have to ask for hot coffee, they only serve cold Vietnamese coffee, perhaps they may have added hot coffee after this review, fingers crossed). Shout out. Throughout our entire stay, we noticed one particular manager, Mr Long the F&B manager, was one of the few who goes around checking on the guests and the staff, making sure things are running smoothly. We saw him checking and helping out during breakfast buffet, and at the pool bar for the evening happy hours. We appreciate his kind gesture of him checking in on guests (not just us) and in making sure the service is running smoothly. A special shout out the pool bar staff as well — we are glad that they have taken the advice on checking with the guests around the pool and being proactive, it changed the whole experience! So big shouts out to Khanh Trinh, Tuyet Nhung, and Giang Son. Final thoughts. Honestly, the word Luxury has been used loosely on the name of the resort. They have a long way to go to achieve the standard of a luxury resort. The attention to care and details were severely lacking. Language barrier may be just 10% of the whole downfall, but I remembered telling the floor manager that there are a lot of way to communicate even if you don’t understand the language — you can sense how genuine a service is even if you don’t understand the language. Staff training will be the way to go for this resort to achieve their true potential. Instead of waiting to apologise for an unpleasant experience, the staff (or the managers rather) should strive to provide an experience that is truly a Vinpearl luxury — starting with the lobby staff as they are the face of the hotel and the starting point of the experience. We were left quite devastated of the whole experience but were quite contented knowing our sharing with the floor manager did not fall on deaf ears. To see the little improvements while we were there truly shows the potential in Vinpearl. We look forward to see a new and improved Vinpearl Luxury someday. Till then — best of luck!

We came to Vinpearl Danang for a much needed family holiday with another family of 5. The hotel and grounds were stunning. The staff made the holiday what it was . Everyone was so helpful and friendly. From reception staff to the buggy drivers. A particular mention to Ms. Nguyen Lee who was the head of food and beverages. She went out of her way to help us and make our stay had comfortable as possible. We had one child with nut allergies and she was always ensuring the food was safe for her and even packed her extra food so we could take it out to our day trip to Vinwonders. The food at the buffet breakfast was varied and delicious . The dinner buffet was not open much I think due to lower numbers so we did get a little bored of the dinner menu, perhaps some daily specials would have helped this? We stayed in a three bedroom villa that was spacious and cleans. The grounds were immaculate and you could see how much work goes into keeping them that way. One night we had an in villa BBQ to celebrate some birthdays and the staff decorated the house and brought everything to the villa. It was fabulous . We spent a lot of time by the pool and beach and although all our kids can swim the life guards were always very vigilant, which we appreciated. We took two evening trips into Hoi An which was also lovely and the hotel helped us out with all our transport and restaurant bookings. Highly recommend going to Morning Glory! This was a fabulous holiday and Vinpearl Luxury is a beautiful place to visit. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff.

We went to Danang and stayed at VinPearl for 3 nights, 4 days. It's a beautiful, huge, and quiet hotel. We got a villa, which included 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and its own pool. Food (breakfast) was included and it wasn't too bad on pricing considering 3 adults and 2 kids. Regarding breakfast, the Vietnamese food was great, not so much the American food for some reason.. which is completely understandable and I wasn't complaining considering I love Viet food. Staff was extremely kind and attentive. When we went swimming, they had ACTIVE lifeguards on duty that watched the children while they swim. My only complaint is that you can't charge things to the room to have one bill. They don't take American Express, which I understand, but there was lots of confusion regarding charges which we were able to figure out once we checked out. Got a massage, and WOW, it was incredible. The best massage I had in Vietnam to be honest! You can walk directly to the beach, and wow is it a sight to see. Life guards are also active on the private beach. They have fun "Kids" activities to keep them occupied (kite flying, origami). Absolutely loved the quietness this hotel has to offer! Definitely will have to come back!

I really don’t write reviews because i’m lazy to even start haha but seriously the staff here are SUPER nice and work fast. My father needed wheelchair and they assisted him every step of the way. The room service food is good. You can order it at the bar and eat it there. The black squid ink creamy pasta is goood! We ate it two days in a row. When we needed something everything was done very quickly. It wasn’t busy here maybe that’s why things were getting done quickly but still I’ve been to other places and this is so far the best service. The afternoon tea set was pretty nice. We decided to sit outside since it wasn’t too hot. Again this is my experience with my family but I really don’t think you will regret coming here. Overall great atmosphere and staff!

So we've been to many resorts around the world but this place has to be one of the top! First, the villa was very spacious and luxurious. Second, the food! The complimentary breakfast is actually really good. Lot of choices and you dont get tired of it like other hotels. And the regular meal choices are also amazing. We especially give two thumbs up to their food~ 1. Squid ink pasta 2. Ravioli 3. Tea tray Finally, EVERY staff and manager were "genuine" and helpful. With every request and question they followed through and quickly. Honestly we were very impressed and highly recommend others to come by~!!! P.s. thank you Nancy and also our buggy driver king kong (hahaha thats what we headd his name was)

Positives 1) fantastic property, beautifully maintained with great sized pools, beautiful beach 2) 3 bedroom villa was very spacious - exceeded expectations in terms of layout and comforts. 3) excellent breakfast spread with a wide variety and high quality of food 4) staff are wonderful, sincere and try to do their best to accommodate your requests. For eg: they allowed me to choose from the main restaurant menu for in room dining, replaced a dish that we didnt enjoy etc Negatives 1) only 1 restaurant in the property with a limited menu. Inability to order food from outside as well as general lack of options in da nang is a severe issue. We were out of options on day 2. No Thai, Japanese or Indian food at the hotel. Basic Italian, basic Vietnamese and salads on offer apart from very limited Chinese menu. Quality was also not great - food in general was strictly average 2) housekeeping: water pressure was poor. Water was Luke warm and took ten mins of running to get to hot (big waste), and still far from piping hot. Turn down service was patchy - done only once in three nights so far although the sweets left were a lovely touch. Water bottles weren’t replaced. Shower amenities were lovely (thann) but again weren’t promptly replaced. Had to call for extra water each day 3) villa was luxurious but lacked basic amenities such as dining plates, crockery and cutlery for a 6-8 people villa, including bottle or wine opener. Each time we ordered food, we had to separately request extra plates. Full kitchen but nothing works - they want you to order from the hotel but again there are barely any options and we couldn’t even reheat room service orders in the villa despite there being a mircrowave. There was no stand for a suitcase. YouTube worked on one tv but not the other two, no mosquito repellent in-room, not much by way of activities 4) kids club: is spacious but there are no board games, books are all in Vietnamese, and apart from Lego, my 5 and 3.5 year old had nothing to do in 10 mins of being there. We tried asking about painting, colouring etc but there was nothing available. Staff is nice but couldn’t offer much beyond the scheduled activities 5) communication is a challenge for the most part. We learnt some basic words in Vietnamese but struggled to communicate with room service, kids club etc. room service took over an hour for the kids dinner on day 1 - we had to make several calls Overall stunning property with kind and service oriented staff, but with some room to improve guest experience

Our group of 5 friends stayed at the esteem 5 Stars Resort and did not disappoint a single bit, the resort is very well maintained and well kept, beautiful beaches and facilities, the staff at the resort and at the F & B outlet (breakfast Place), especially Ms Nancy, provide very good service and she is very friendly. Overall, great resort and very enjoyable stay !!
