My room was room 228. It was too far to catch the wifi signal from the Reception. It was a triple room by the way with 3 separated beds. The bed that my uncle used made way too much noise. The wardrobe was broken and so was the sleeping lamp. There were was too many switches in the room but only half of them actually turned on/off something. There was no water in the bathroom and the shower broke before I even touched it cause it was too old already. I got pissed off and I was trying to call the reception. That was when I found out, the phone in our room was broken .... I really don't know how to react to that! Oh, by the way, the AC was broken too. But the weather was very nice so we didn't need the AC anyway, so lucky for them. I was too pissed off. I went back to the reception and they said that they would fix the water first thing in the morning, which, by the way, they didn't. Instead, they offered me to use the bathroom from room 206. Forget it. We did NOT enjoy anything at all of this hotel. The room rate was too expensive. The next morning, we checked out early and never would we come back. We won't even consider recommend someone to stay in this hotel anyway.…
Unpretentious hotel. Clean rooms. Bathrooms were small with a leaky wash basin in one and a circular bathtub in the other. Hot water for tea was provided in a huge flask upon request. There was a small but good breakfast buffet. There was a different fresh fruit in my room every day. The tricky part was the karaoke that went on almost every night. It started sometime after eight with a local band with the first few numbers that were tolerable. As the night wore on the singers were usually loud, out of tune and it became unbearable. This was at the poolside. So if this is not your cup of tea, you are better off asking for a road facing room. The wifi in the room was free and excellent. Good value for money.
We stayed in a villa was excellent, pool right outside the door, and were able to cook for ourselves. We ate in the restaurant a couple of nights food was lovely The staff were absolutely amazing, made us feel so welcome, every day they gave us water and fresh fruit and flowers for our room Maybe a little out of town but pure relaxation and TRUE VIETNAMESE HOSPITAILITY, we would highly recommend you stay here to truly experience real Vietnam We would definately come back again
Stayed at the Green Hotel for one night (thankfully) on our recent tour of Indo-China. As it was arranged by the Tour Company I ( and our group) had no choice, but to tolerate it for one night. We checked in at 6.30 P.M and even at that time the room had no towels. The old Television set (the picture tube type) was not working. The room and the corridors as well as the elevator all reeked of cigarette smoke. The staff were friendly enough to offer us another room with a working TV and find some towels so that we could have a shower. The Breakfast buffet had limited choice with diluted cordials masquerading as fresh juice, and staff insisting that it was fresh juice. Find another Hotel if you have to stay at Da Nang.
A hotel out of town and you do need a taxi when you come from the airport. When you arrive by bus you can walk but still it is about 3 KM. The hotel is okay for one night but not really clean and you can smell the moisture. The food is okay. If you have a choice go to Hoi Ann because hotels are better and many hotels offer a shuttle to the airport which will take you there in 1 hour.
