If you need an escape from the city, alma is the right place for you. Wake up everyone morning to the birds and a beautiful sunrise over the sand dunes. Then have the option to do fitness, art, yoga or literally just relax. It is a weekend that you literally can choose to do whatever you want. The food is also amazing, healthy clean vegan food. Full of yumminess Even though I went alone, I felt so welcomed at Alma and had honestly the best trip ever. Already planning on coming back when it opens after summer! A special thank you to katrina: she made this experience so special and one I will remember forever

I came to Alma Retreat exhausted from the past work week, then in 24 hours felt as if I'd rested for a week. I attended the gentle evening yoga class, evening hike up the dune to watch the sunset, two ice baths, and the morning hike on the dunes. I loved that I could opt in or out of the activities (I opted out of more strenuous yoga and the fitness class). The food was exquisite - extremely fresh and you could taste how lovingly it was prepared! There were also snacks and fresh-brewed coffee on offer all the time. I had an amazing time at the sound healing session and we were even allowed to play with the Tibetan sound bowls at the bonfire at night. I spent the weekend eating nourishing food, journaling and reading, and hanging out with a bunch of kind and funny souls. The bed was comfortable, the room cool, and the outdoor shower (enclosed with a fence) was fun. I'm moving out of the country this summer, but would definitely plan stopovers through Dubai so that I could come back to Alma. Big thanks and a humble bow to Katrina and the Alma team!

I had such a wonderful time and it was a privilege to have an overnight stay in the middle of the desert and watch the stars shine in the sky during the night. The Yoga classes were amazing and the activities were great. A very relaxing place and atmosphere to take a step back and have a moment by yourself to either meditate or read a book. Very relaxing. The staff was very helpful and nice. The food was fantastic, beyond expectation.

My girlfriend surprised me with a 2 day getaway at Alma Retreat, and I sure wasn't disappointed, and for many reasons: - Katrina was an amazing host from start to finish, extremely welcoming and always smiling - It was such a great experience getting to meet people from various backgrounds - The activities and workshops were really interesting: we did some painting, there were yoga classes, morning hikes, workouts, a photography class, live music by the campfire - Food was good. There were vegan options - The rooms were nice and comfy. The en-suite showers were clean - Spending time in the sauna, followed by a dip in the pool was refreshing All in all, it was time very well spent away from the hustle bustle of Dubai.
