Excellent reception service, kind and helpful staff, very clean rooms and great room service. During our stay in July 2020 all precautions needed to minimize the risks were made. The food was served by the kitchen staff, guests were urged to keep social distance at all times, areas, tables etc were desinfected after each guest, especially in the restaurant.

It started badly when we were shown to our room on the second floor, it was so close to the throbbing of the disco which was blasting out. Went to asked if we could be relocated to another room as we haven't unpacked yet. This was on the ground floor and the music was less obtrusive. We settled down for the night and ate the packet sandwich box which was kindly provided for us as dinner service was over as we arrived about 10.00pm.

The disco finished at about midnight and after being awake for the last 14 hours prepared for bed. Boy, what an experience, despite our tiredness we could not sleep as bed was literally 9 inches away from a pair of compressors servicing the hotel air con or swimming pool. I do not know what it was. It was like sleeping next to a tumble drier or in a plane with the constant humming.

I went to speak to reception about changing the room again. The receptionist whom i saw on each occasion was brilliant. Yashya was really very helpful and kind. He really made our holiday. We were relocated to another room much quieter but tolerable on the disco throbbing.

We had a wonderful time, lovely clean hotel, really nice staff and the beach though is mainly pebbles but there were wooden walkaways provided. Plenty of sunbeds and the water was warm and no overcrowding whatsoever.

The food was good with plenty of varieties, local alcohol was not to the strength we experience back home but flowed freely. Ice cream and pastries available
from 3.00pm and was very enjoyable.

Shocked by the gluttony some of the guest and the amount of food wasted, I can only assume they, who are mainly old folks have never seen such an abundance of food, having lived through periods of rationing and shortages in the Eastern Block of the 70's and 80's.

Hotel catered mainly for Russians and only 2 couple we met some English, this was not a problem, but it was difficult to exchange pleasantries.

Overall, we had a nice time and the only reason, 4 stars was given is that damn disco which went on till midnight every evening.

Stop the music or lower the volume at 11.00pm and a 5-star rating is definite.

Initially this was booked as a last minute holiday due to the dates we had available to ourselves, due to that there wasn't much of selection and so we picked the lancora as what we thought was the best of a bad bunch with a good location. I can safely say that we both were fairly surprised at how good this hotel was/is. Firstly let's address the elephant in the room, yes there is a disco every night till 12am, this may put off light sleepers and family's with young children but the music was always off at exactly 12 and while on holiday we don't normally got to bed early or we would stick on the movie channels and turn it up, problem solved. As for the rest of the hotel it was very clean and our room was decorated to a high standard. Staff were excellent and friendly even though mostly the guests were Russian and the staff mostly spoke Russian as their second language but were still able to provide great service with a smile. I will say the pool never really gets the sun which is a bit disappointing but when the beach is so close its not much of an issue. There were always spare sun loungers and a nice bar on the beach. The food was exactly what you expect from an all inclusive but with the added dimension of a grill station that served thing like burgers, kebabs and other barbecue staples which was nice, also the queues went quickly and the dining area was always kept clean with ample space indoor and outdoor. The best thing about the hotel is its location, basically in the heart of kemer surrounded by shops and eateries we were left spoilt for choice for things to do a places to see. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would go back if the opportunity arisises. O ly down side is the internal shop owner is annoying and has inflated prices

First impressions were not good due to being allocated a small double room for three adults. It was very humid , late and only one English speaker on reception. They did say another room would be provided the next day though and they did show us another Room (a suite ) on the third floor which looked over the rear to the sea. Lovely view and actually two rooms with a door in-between sharing a shower room. Much better for three people. This happened to multiple people. Not sure if that’s a fault if the hotel or tour operator . Love holidays.

You have to get your head around this not being an English hotel or resort it’s mainly Russian, Turkish and Eastern European. We were a little wary but there was nothing to worry about . Everyone was friendly although not many spoke English. Also get your head around stray cats wandering around inside and outside the hotel. If you have a pet allergy this would be hell.

Food was nice I could always find something to eat. I do like salads though , plenty of those and stews . Drinks are the usual non branded bland drinks but for the cost of the holiday drinks were a bonus.

Location very central. Pluses are you are close to walk to the beach and into Kemer centre but downside is for me the evening noise from neighbouring boom boom monotonous music from eateries / bars. Goes on until 12.30. Seems a younger persons place really. The buzz of people wandering around late is nice but the music isn’t everyone’s taste and the hotel would should pay more attention to the all day long music you can’t get away from. Wandered around the shops but the guys / shop keepers were far too pushy it put us off going back.

The gym was a no go as the air con didn’t work. Also very small and only two people could use at once.

Spa was good value it seemed €20 for 90 mins use of steam room and a massage but you are advised to return for a more In depth massage which is more money & not much more in Depth.

We didn’t do excursions just wanted to chill out.

Beach is shingle and not easy to walk on if you are elderly but it didn’t seem to put off any of the elderly guests. Plenty were in the sea.

All in all a good value holiday. I enjoyed Kemer but the boom boom noise would put me off going again.

I have practically no faults for this hotel. Me and my partner stayed for a week all inclusive and it was amazing.

1) The decor was gorgeous. Honestly the hotel is breathtaking to look at and I have never seen anything as unique!

2) Ahh the private beach! The sea was warm and we never had trouble finding seats. When we first got there we wondered why nobody was using the pools? But as soon as we got on the beach we understood. The views from the beach, the mountains are also second to none. My partner is also super pale and we were worried about costs of sunshade etc but there is shade that is free of charge.

3) The food was very nice and plentiful. I will say however, I am a vegetarian and I really struggled with finding hot vegetarian food that wasn't chips or rice which was a shame. Additionally I will say the food is definitely catered to their Russian guests so just be aware of that if you're a fussy eater like myself!

4) All inclusive was certainly worth the money. The bar staff would make you basically anything you asked with the liqueurs included and we would ask them for a surprise and they would always give us something new. There was food at all times of day even outside of meal times and the free ice cream bar was such a good add on we had a cone every day!

5) The staff and their attentiveness was second to none. Everyone we encountered was so lovely and kind and generous. I want to give a huge shout out to the bar staff who seemed to work crazy days and crazy hours but who were always so nice even after seeing person after person

6) We also tried the spa which was such a good price. We paid €40 for a full 1hr 30min treatment that included a sauna, being washed and exfoliated in the turkish bath, fully body massage, face mask, tea and towels to keep.

I don't have a bad thing to say to be honest. My only meh was the lack of vegetarian options but I didn't have a moment where I was hungry I always managed to make something work.

Thank you for such a lovely stay! We would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We had a lovely holiday at L’Ancora Beach Hotel. The rooms were clean and reasonably spacious. Most of the staff were happy and friendly. The staff at the bar by the outside seating area/entertainment area were very good and had your drinks ready before u ordered. The large pool was only used between meal times but the small pool was used all day and was lovely. The beach is gorgeous but unless you have really tough feet, u will need beach shoes as it’s all stones. It was only a few minutes walk to the centre of Kemer with a huge amount of shops, where you can barter to your hearts content. The only things that let it down slightly was the fact that the beach bar, even though we were all inclusive, wasn’t all inclusive, and you had to walk up to the bar to get a drink unless u happy to pay, even water wasn’t included. The on-site shop is very expensive, our son bought a water pistol and it lasted 5 minutes before it broke, the guy refused to change it or glue it together for us, save your money and buy from the centre, things are half the price. The other thing was that when we arrived we were the only English people there (mostly Russians) although it didn’t bother us much, some are very rude, pushing in etc. I have stayed at 5* hotels in Turkey many times and I enjoyed this as much, if not more. The food was good, although some days were better than others, we could always find something to eat and the patisserie where u could get pastries, rolls and ice cream was lovely. The entertainment on the last night was good, they had belly dancers, but other than that there was only a DJ, but we went out most evenings so it didn’t bother us. I would definitely stay here again.

This was my 1st time to antalya /kemer with my bestie and I loved every moment of being there. The shuttle bus took a bit longer to get all the people and take us to the hotel though. But when we arrived at the reception the staff were lovely took our suitcases and showed us our room.

Room:
Room was lovely and clean, modern decoration with a balcony with partial sea view.

Staff:
Everyone was lovely and looked professional. Hard workers but always smiled when you asked a question.
The manager was very approachable and friendly with very good English so you could have a decent conversation with him.
We made friends with a few other holiday makers as well which was nice.

We were all inclusive and for the price I was gobsmacked how tasty the food was! I tried everything 😂

Location/beach:
Location of the hotel is amazing with lovely garden leading onto the private beach (stoned one but beach shoes did the trick and the sea was crystal clear coz of the stones too) the lounges were included and plenty of them for everyone. Bar on the beach was not all inclusive but the beer effes was cheap so we bought it couple of times as it was nice and cold 😊

Also the hotel is right next to the nice street with lots of shops(some great bargains 😊)

I have to say there were not many English people in the hotel. They were predominantly Russians, Latvians and Serbians but I personally loved that as the point of leaving England is to be away from the "normal" lol.

The entertainment was fab with belly dancers and traditional Turkish performances.

I also recommend going to the old town antalya marina. Journey there wasn't the easiest though as u have to walk to the main clock in kemer then get on the coach I was lucky to have a seat but many people that were picked up later had to stand up. When I got off at the massive shopping centre I needed another bus which was only 6 stops but unfortunately as it was so busy I had to wait for 3rd bus to be able to get on it. Quiet a few people pushed around which was uncomfortable.

But it all was worth it as the old town is picturesque with nice market leading to the marina beach. For 60 liras you can enter the beach and enjoy the sunset then I took a taxy back which cost me 23pounds...

Overall it was one of the nicest holidays I've had with my friend, met lots of nice people and loved the location.

Great food, great accommodation, great service. Everyone is here to help you with a smile.
Everything is also adapted to people with disabilities. The beach has a special ramp for entering the water that allows you to enter the water without any problems. It has a special carpet that prevents someone from falling when entering the water.
I owe special thanks to the hotel director Mr. Muammer Yenici and his team. Great job and hotel to recommend.

During the check-in, we were informed that we can't have the rooms we paid for and that we are going to get one room for 3 people instead of two. And that we will get our separate rooms only tomorrow. It spoiled the impression on the first day and the next day we had to wait longer than they promised to change our rooms (we also had problems with the lock, we asked a technician to fix it, but after his visit, we still had problems with a key).

I and my family were taken from the airport to the hotel by the transfer of a travel company from which bought a tour. If you get without the help of a travel agency, you will need to get to the hotel yourself.
