The Kale hotel can be found close by the wonderful old amphitheater. It is very quiet, but still just 5 minutes from the centre of town. The Kale hotel is bright and stylishly decorated with 18 personalised rooms, as well as 6 spacious junior suites and 6 apartments, all with shower/toilet, air conditioning, balcony and some of them with amazing sea views. From your balcony you will be able to see the beach cove in front of Kas, the amphitheatre, or the Greek island of Meis. The sea is approx. 80 Metres away. Your breakfast, a large buffet of fresh food and drinks, is served on the terrace, which comes with delightful sea views. In the hotel garden you'll find sun loungers and sun umbrellas during the day.

Quiet hotel (more like pension) 5 minutes of a walk from the center of the Kas town. Nothing from some older 2018 bad scores (like,, no minifridge.. '') - we had one perfectly working. Polite staff, almost shy. Carried out our backpacks to the highest floor (3rd).Room view was great - overlooking Kas and the harbour. Small balcony, table and 2 chairs to relax and enjoy the sundown. Room was quite small (at least our feeling) due to the aslope wall/ceiling, so some 2 - 3 painless hits to the head is the usual newcomers' experience. Hot water and minifridge worked well as well as WiFi connection. Don't miss the visit of the ancient amphiteatre, located cca 100m to the West from the hotel.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Kale Hotel was one of the nicest places we stayed in the four weeks we were in Turkey.

We know hotel kale, Kaš since since 2017, when we did our first trip. Meanwhile the owner changed from a family driven hotel to a bigger local group since 01/21 . The earlier staff changed completely, the hotel lost its soul. Hope it comes after renovation back.

It was my first time in Turkey and I loved it!
This hotel is very well located and it is mainly a place to relax and enjoy the landscape!

The food was good and the Staff was friendly!
My room had a balcony with a nice little table outside which was very enjoyable!

I have stayed in Kale Hotel several times, and also took groups there, and it was always great. Really friendly staff, great breakfast, and if you happen to be in the seaview rooms, amazing views over the islands.
I just love this hotel.:)

We stayed in a nice room overlooking the ampi-theatre and a side aspect of the sea. The room was kept clean and is simply but tastefully decorated. The hotel location is in a quiet location and a 5 minute walk from centre. The room booking service was through a German company and most of our fellow guests were friendly Germans.
We felt Kas was a better choice to stay than Kalkan (which is becoming too British and is attempting to be a more up market desination), Kas has a more balanced Turkish and tourist mix about the place. Lots of good restaurants to try, in late October most where fairly quiet. To our surprise the weather was unexpectantly good.

Our visit to the Mediteranean coast of Turkey was the least planned part of our trip. We had been warned that this part of the coast was very touristy, but were delighted when we rolled into Kas in our rental car. We decided to look for a hotel on foot.

The book we had guided us just away from the town center where there are a quite a few pensions and hotels. The Kale Hotel is striking in that it has a stunning view and a lot of privacy, yet it's quite close (an easy walk) to any of the attractions in town.

It is not a budget hotel by any means, and we were a bit surprised that the manager showed very little willingness to bargain in spite of the fact that the hotel did not seem to have very many guests (in July!). But I know it's been a tough year, and they know their bottom line- I do not.

In any case, the hotel, staff, and rooms are excellent. It is spotless, and seems very German (as are many of the guests). The rooms are all white, with sparse decoration, and most have a small deck that has the most beautiful, unobstructed view of the sea you could ever hope for.

The breakfast was delicious, also, and eating that wonderful food out on the deck was an experience my wife and I and our 17 year old son will never forget.

All of our questions were cheerfully answered at the front desk.

Kas Hotel is set at the end of a lovely shaded street and courtyard. The hotel
has a breakfast terrace overlooking the sea. We had a top floor small room with a balcony - quite a few stairs but staff gladly carried our bags. The owners are very welcoming and informative. The hotel adjoins the Kas ancient amphitheatre. Parking is plentiful on level
ground but streets typically tight and
winding. You can walk to the centre of
Kas cafes and shops in a few minutes. A nice place:)

Generally it is nice and hot -hot enough to swim- in day time but little bit chilly in the evenings and at nights. It may rain in a day for a short time and rest of the day will be nice again.
