Hi, let me tell you about my stay at the Carpediem Suite Hotel in Kaş, I was there for one week in September, my first booking got cancelled, so this was my second choice and I enjoyed my stay here in Turkey. Location: The Hotel Suites are located up on the hill overlooking Kaş, not too far from the main road into Kaş, the main town is a few minutes walk away, you will find many shops, places to eat, Taxi rank, money exchange etc. all within a few mins walk away. Airport & Transfers: I travelled to Antalya airport which is a good 190km away, this takes around 3.5 hours to get here, lots of ways to get here though, Taxi, Bus, Transfer companies. My plane was late landing so I arrived late, the owner turned up and gave me the key. Rooms: The rooms are lovely, everything looks new & there's plenty of space, nice big fridge, living room area, large walk in shower, washing machine, cooking facilities, 2 x TV, plenty of storage space, air con, balcony, good size bed and bedroom. Board basis: I was self catering so I looked after myself, there's plenty of restaurants in town which is a short walk down the hill. Things close by: There's lots to do in Kaş, not many beaches close by as it's a rocky coastline so most of the sun spots are beach clubs whereyo can hire a sun lounger, I went to Asma6 beach club which is nice and well priced, also a short walk out of town is Mermaid Beach which is lovely, nice sunsets and food down there. Plenty of boat trips available in the town harbour, I took a day trip to Kastellorizo which you can see in the distance, a small Greek island which is a great day out. Also a day trip to Kekova down the coast is well worth a look. Not so good: You'll find out in Kaş there's lots of steep hills so getting back to the hotel after a long day in the sun can be tiring, but you can always get a short Taxi ride for a few Turkish Lira. Emptying my rubbish, I didn't get my room cleaned once the whole week so had to take out my own rubbish, there's a local large rubbish bin close by so I put it all in there every day. Luckily I was given plenty of towels as no towels were taken away and replaced the whole week, so I had to wash my own towels via washing machine, no big deal but you expect these things to be done at least once. Overall: It's a lovely clean quiet part of town with a lovely view of the marina and beyond to the sea, so around 19.00 you get to see the sunset each night from the balcony. There's plenty to do in the area and lots of choice to eat and drink, Taxi's are well priced too, I would definately go back as it's such a nice town and hotel suite, just a hard place to get to as it's quite far from the airport, but well worth it in the end. …
We stayed in this hotel 2 nights but extended extra 2 more nights as we felt like at home! Very clean, amazing!!! view, great breakfast and very helpful owners/staff! View and place is amazing and very quiet. As it is in the up hill, if you don't have a car, you need to take a taxi (20 TL) from the centre, we preferred to walk as we like exercise but it is very steep. But definitely worth it. They offer every utensil in the kitchen. So you can cook or have your tea etc. in the balconies. There is a washing machine in the rooms (which is great!) and they offer detergent as well. We loved our time there and will definitely recommend it.
