Would you like a holiday in the heaven of Mediterranean, with the comfort and composure of your house? Santosa Pansion is a pansion which is founded to deal out to all requests with high quality. Santosa Pansion is in the city center of Kaş, and is comfortable, clean and decent. The pansion consists of 11 rooms; all with incredible views of Kaş from beautiful terrace’s where you can eat your breakfasts and/ or dinners. On the other hand, you can drink, read books/ magazines or sleep in hammock any time of the day. All rooms have 24/7 hot water, AC and private WC and bath.In history, Antiphello’s was the old name of Kaş. It was a fishing village in old years, but now it is a very modern tourism center. Kaş's population is about 10.000 and the destination is full of possibilities.Kaş is one of the most important and beautiful diving centers of Turkey. There are a lot of scuba diving schools and experienced divers from all over the world come here to enjoy the beautiful diving. On the other hand, you can try other activities such as paragliding, Sea kayak, Blue Travel, Bicycle Tour, Horse Riding, Lycian Tour (The Lycian's were the ancient people who inhabited the area of present day Turkey between the bays of Antalya and Fethiye) and Saklıkent Tour (Saklikent "Hidden City" Gorge is the second-largest (20 km-long) gorge in Europe, the longest and deepest gorge in Turkey. Saklikent Gorge is so steep and narrow that the sun cannot not penetrate the water which makes it very cold even in summer). Kas today:Its quaint town center has a rocky waterfront, with several small beaches nearby where you can try your luck at water sports. There is also a small harbor with fishing boats and daily boats for rent. Life centers on the town square where there are teahouses, restaurants, mosques and shops. Kas has a growing nightlife and a traditional market on Fridays, what more could you want from a destination?

An ultra clean place run by a family who are really friendly and welcoming. We did not stay for dinner because it’s quite close to Kaş center - a three-minute-walk. The rooms are cosy. The breakfast was OK, Turkish style and included fresh fruits. Don’t worry about parking the car, as the owners do anything they can (waiting on the road for you to arrive even) so that you can park right in front ;)

I switched from Meltem because of poor WiFi and the rather cramped room. Deniz was warm to welcome me and even offered several room options. Breakfast is tasty and served at 8am, perfect if you need to head down the port for diving lessons in the mornings. Fantastic stay! P.S. thanks Deniz for driving me to the ATM and bus station :)

Santosa Pansiyon is beautifully situated - a 5 min walk from the marina means you’re near the buzz of the town but far enough away for some peace and quiet at night! The owners, Deniz and his family, were so lovely and accommodating - I felt at home the moment I arrived. The room was super clean and lovely, and the breakfasts were gorgeous. I would gladly stay again

I really like Deniz and Meryam who run the pension, very friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable to stay with them. The location is quite convenient, only one street from all the actions, and far enough from all the noise, busy of the touristy town. The view is so beautiful from the common area. From the hotel I could reach everywhere on foot, to bus station, to port... Very clean, comfortable room.

My friend and I were there last week. We stayed in room nr 7. First of all Santosa is much more than a pension. It's a family house and you feel as you have just visited your relatives. During our five-day trip Deniz and his wife Meryem made us feel like we were home. On our returning day when we missed our bus, Deniz and his sweet family carried us to Fethiye which is almost 100kms far from Kas with their own car!!! Surely we catched our bus and they saw off us from the bus station! It was a great adventure. On the other hand, dinners are nice, the panorama is good and it is all worth money you pay for the service.

Santosa is run by Deniz and his wife and has a very homely, relaxed vibe. It is low-cost accomodation, so don't expect anything fancy ... do expect a clean, decent-sized room with all you need, a pretty good breakfast (for the price) on a sunny terrace and a location that's just a short walk from the harbour/sea. We did not book in advance so our room did not have a view, but did have a small outside patio which was great ... Deniz also sometimes does dinners for guests and at 15TL it's a good deal. A fish barbeque with an array of salads and bread ... simple, delicious food. There's wi-fi, you can get your laundry done and Deniz can book your boat trips or whatever you need. My only gripe, as I am a coffee lover – be prepared for Nescafé instant! (this is not unique to Santosa however, we found this at quite a few places in Turkey) ... also, as it is family-run, there are literally quite a few kids running around the breakfast area every morning! Not really a problem. Overall, it's a thumbs up for Santosa. The casualness of this pension really adds to the holiday feeling ...

We are not surprised by the negative stories of other visitors to this place. We arrived in Kas by bus and walked up to the street with 3-4 pensions, among them Santosa. We asked the lady at the door if there was a room available. She said yes and showed us a room downstairs. It looked like a cellar, very depressing. She asked 70 lira for the room. We said we would go next door to see if they had a room available. All of a sudden she had a room available on the second floor as well. Far better room and nice view over Kas. 'Same price?' we asked. She said yes so we took it. Later that evening we met the owner of the place who started whispering when he found out we were the couple staying in the room on the second floor for 70 lira. 'Please don't mention to other guests what you payfor the room. My wife knows nothing about the prices.' He asked if we stayed a couple of nights and we said yes. Two days later, after we were almost forced to join the barbecue, he told us out of nowhere that we had to leave the room the next morning. "I forgot about people coming the next day" (something a lot of customers of this place mention). We think he found customers who were willing to pay more for the room. Unbelievable. Apart from this we found the breakfast ok but the barbecue highly overrated (Lonely Planet recommended it so we went for it, alas).

The proprietors of the Santosa Pension seem like natural hosts, mixing the business of supplying travelers with what they need--from laundry service to booking tours--with an honest warmth and concern. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The place is on what seems to be the cheaper side of town, which is fine since that puts it a short walk from the bus station and the waterfront--and from the weekly farmer's market, which Deniz made sure we knew about. And the mom gave us a ride to the bus station in the family van when it was time to leave. You will notice that there are no "terrible" reviews for this place. For the price, this is an outstanding place to stay.

Only quibble: the wifi was always good on the terrace, but often didn't work in the room.

Very nice and helpful couple runs the place. Make you feel at home.
Nice A/C rooms with attached shower/toilet.
Basically very clean (see comment below), nice breakfast and pleasant terrace, close to town center, etc.
Would give it excellent mark except for two reasons - 1. WiFi was unreliable (came on and dissapeared intermittently) 2. Rooms are not cleaned every day (which may contribute to the very reasonable prices).
Anyway - very good deal. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 3 boys (ages 8, 4 and 4) and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very large, clean and bright with a private balcony (room 5, I think). The location is very good, halfway between the otogar and the harbour (as are most of the pensions). The wifi was good and strong wherever I tried it. Breakfast was a good typical Turkish breakfast but served buffet style, with a few extras like cereal and yogurt...really yuimmy. Deniz and Meryem and their parents were great hosts. My only one tiny complaint is that the bathroom was a bit small and had no window or outside vent, which is very minor, indeed. I can happily recommend this place.
