What a wonderful, clean, beautiful hotel. I've had an incredible time at this reasonably priced, gorgeous hotel. EVERY covid sanitation practice has been put into place. The entire staff are extremely conscientious about hygiene while at the same time being friendly, warm, welcoming, and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Kaş. My room had a sparkling sea view & I am so happy that I got to stay here. You will be happy too. I give this beautiful boutique hotel a 10 out of 10. Thank you! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Situated just minutes from the town centre and walking distance to the bus station it was certainly value for money. The hotel is in two buildings opposite each other one of which has views out to sea. Large modern rooms and really helpful staff. Breakfast varied but was ample.
We are from the U.S. (San Francisco) and my wife is originally from Istanbul. We have a place in Kuşadası and are here for three months and doing some traveling. We booked four nights at the Payam in a 2nd floor room with a sea view. We loved the property and it’s staff so much we extended our stay to seven nights! Do I need to say more? Ok... The Room - Better than advertised and shown in the photos. It is large both in the main sleeping area and particularly the bathroom. It has a great rainfall shower along with a separate jacuzzi tub that has a rainfall shower as well. It has a mini-fridge which came with some free drinks to start us off. It also has coffee and tea provided. I have a long-time lower back issue and bed comfort is high on my priority list. The mattress was very comfortable and I had no issues at all sleeping. If you need AC, it is a quality Bosch unit that can be set to be whisper quiet. There are virtually no bugs in Kaş, so leaving the sliding door open without a fly-screen is no problem either. The view from the room looked over both the garden and the ocean. It faces southwest and the sunsets were incredible. Breakfast for the two of us was included. It is a full array of breads, eggs, borek (philo pastries with cheeses, meats or vegs), fruit and juices. There is plenty to eat! One prior reviewer complained about the food being pre-wrapped. I believe that must have been in the early days of the pandemic when all hotels were freaking-out about food service. Now they have a server, who keeps proper distancing and is masked, providing service, and she speaks English to go along with her Turkish. The property is off the beaten path with no traffic noise, but is only about 1 1/2 blocks from the downtown area. The entire area is great for walkers as it is hilly in a lot of the town. It’s not San Francisco style hilly, but pretty close! We are both advanced scuba divers but we weren’t sure if we were going to dive on this part of the trip. We ended up diving five days because the weather and sea conditions were outstanding! Staff - The entire team is great. From the time of check-in with a young woman named Isil, we were totally impressed. Isil first spoke Turkish to my wife, and then without skipping a beat, she turned to me and gave me the same rundown in perfect English. She had suggestions for the dive center, things to do and quality restaurants of both local cuisine as well as more general foods. Hasan, who I believe was probably a co-manager with Isil, manned the breakfast area as well as check-in. His English is great and he is as gracious as anyone at any property we’ve stayed at including the Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons. A real gentleman! He couldn’t have been more helpful. Others in the breakfast area include, the chef, Hamide, along with Zerrin and Iclal. All three were delightful and went “above and beyond” everyday. Hamide makes real home-style Turkish breakfasts and they are delicious. It is as good as any restaurant. Any high-end resort would be lucky to have these folks working for them. Instead, we were the lucky ones to have them, and they made our stay feel like we were with friendly family members. Overall, this was a wonderful first-time experience in Kaş. We highly recommend Payam as your place to stay and do make Kaş a destination on your trip. Gary …
We stayed here for one night last year, and wished we could have stayed longer. This year we returned and stayed for three nights. The hotel was just as good. We had a sea view room on the top floor. Once more it was immaculately clean, all necessities provided, very good quality bathroom products. Breakfast was served by the staff rather than a buffet because of Covid. The choice was the same and the food was just as good - the omelettes are highly recommended! The people who work there could not be more charming or more helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Kas, uphill on the return journey, but if you’re feeling lazy, the taxi ride is £2.
We stayed here for 3 nights in September during a 6 week tour along the Turkish coast. We had a suite with jacuzzi bath which was beautifully appointed, lots of space and free water and juice in the fridge. Breakfast was overlooking the sea and fully COVID compliant with plenty of choice. The staff were very helpful and friendly and kindly arranged our transfer to the next stop on our trip. The location of this hotel is perfect for the centre of Kas, beach clubs and the amphitheater but also peaceful and secluded. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely little gem of a hotel if you are coming to Kas.
