Thailand is wonderful for staying and experiencing the country and culture. We had a great time, and the Amari Phuket was instrumental in ensuring we had a wonderful stay in Thailand. The food in the restaurant is excellent, and the quality and service have always been perfect! The service staff was courteous and always immediately fulfilled our requests. The grounds are magnificent, and waking up to the ocean in the morning is amazing. Everything is aligned so that you can always see the bay. Eating, relaxing, etc., is always combined with the great view and makes your stay a pleasure! Amari Phuket, we'll be back!
I fully recommend this hotel, location is great for Golf, nightlife and restaurants. The staff were amazing and the club lounge is well worth paying the extra money for. The Breeze Spa experience was just incredible and I had 3off the best massages I have ever had…… I definite must.
Great room, good food, friendly staff, great place to stay in Phuket. Abit far from the main streets and beach, but the stay made it well worth it. Rooms were clean, has a bit retro feel to it, but that made it even more authentic,
Nice hotel close to Patong beach. The property is quite large and on a hilly terrain. The better rooms or suites are located on the higher level which is accessible only by the hotel buggies or vans. They offer a good view, but are far from the water front. I recommend the club rooms with ocean view, decent size and happy hours is really a nice offering. Service was pretty prompt, was a bit concerned by reading other reviews, but we got everything promptly. One recommendation is to cover the balconies for the two bedroom units. They become unusable in rains and also chair cushions get soaked. The balcony also becomes dirty due to tree droppings. The spa was offering 50% discount to guests during their birthday month. I recommended it to a couple travelling with us. Both are August born. The spa confirmed this prior to the massage and mentioned that the discount will be applied during check out. Unfortunately, the offer was denied while checking out and we did not have time to push further. Leaves a bad impression, don't make offers which you cannot honour or have some sort of catch in it.…
Not properly described about the property or it’s amenities and the hotel club services. Also was never given a map towards any of the guest to explore the places around either the gym or pool or spa. Along with never courtesy to help about the location or market places to visit. The sad part on repeated telling that my friend saying that is my birthday on 5th so please make it special in room arrangement… they just sent a very small cake and not single decoration … so if someone plans to celebrate any occasion then forget it.. they will not make efforts.
Old hotel. Massive property. But lacks upkeep and quality service. Even after reporting issues nothing was done to take care of it. Staff left a pack of chocolates in the room to bribe us into writing a good review.
We loved our stay at Amari Phuket! The staff were all so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend to other friends. The only thing I noticed that could be updated/improved was the bathroom by the pool and bathroom under hotel lobby. Additionally I would recommend improving the wifi in the hotel rooms.
The hotel staff was pleasant and the hotel view was amazing. The staff from la gritta was the best. The food and pool and beach near La Gritta was one that made the experience amazing otherwise everything was basic. There was no easy way to go to the jetty and it was under construction which was a disappointment but it was okay in the end
We are a family of four, 2 boys aged 18 & 22 who stayed here for 10 nights in July. We had read mixed reviews before arriving, however, we needn't have worried. I think some people just like to complain! The staff were all extremely attentive, smiley, and helpful. We did encounter a few guests speaking poorly to the staff which we found very distasteful and totally undeserved. The hotel itself sits into the hillside offering amazing seaviews. I would say if you are of the older generation it would perhaps not be the first choice, however the views were worth the climb! There are always the hotel tuk-tuk's to get you up and down the hillside and we never had to wait more than a few minutes. We stayed in a 2-bed sea view suite which offered our family of 4 all the space we needed with an amazing balcony that stretched the length of the entire suite. The CLUB was our little sanctuary during our stay and liked the more intimate environment it offered. We particularly enjoyed the hourly cocktail & canape hour each evening and it was great to have complimentary drinks and tea & coffee throughout the day too. We dined in the hotel on 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every meal, especially the Surf & Turf evening! We also indulged in several spa treatments during our stay which was heaven. Our boys enjoyed Badminton, and there is also tennis available as well as various activities such as Yoga. This hotel really has something for all age groups and I would not hesitate to recommend it. We hope to return one day. Thanks to the Amari team for making our stay feel special.…
Amari is located at good location. View of ocean from hotel is awesome. Starting category rooms are a bit small. Would suggest to go for villas. Breakfast was good with Indian options. Staff are courteous. One of my friend left behind 1000USD in his room locker. They contacted us and returned the money by transferring it to a bank near our bangkok hotel.
