Deeply disappointed in the house keeping staff. Imagine its 1pm in the afternoon and rooms are not cleaned yet! The breakfast is also not up to standard! The outside garden area is very dusty and not cleaned... It not meet my expectations sadly 😔

Apology on behalf of the Hotel, your concern is received and action taken where dimed necessary, for the case of house keeper check-out time from Friday to Sunday end up to 11:00am case house keeping time is from 11:00am up to 1.00pm depending on number of rooms, however you were assisted by our supervisor and your room was ready before 1pm.

Stayed there for 3days, the rooms were neat and tidy. The hospitality is top notch with friendly and welcoming staffs. WiFi is very slow and most of the time its not working,No varieties in the breakfast. The place is just ok!

I stayed for a day. Its just a basic accomodation. Its not great, but just ok and clean and breakfast is just nice. It was better than what I expected. If you just require a small and nice place to stay for the night or two, will definitely recommend it.

Lovely place, decent interiors with randomly placed stuff which once was a gift gallary..looks impressive on the website but this place is just miserable. Staff look soo unhappy like they are punished. Not even a fake smile. Girl at reception looked like she was about to cry. They have a restaurant at the back which again looks decent but beware. Out of a menu of 10 items they dont have 8.. and took them 45 min to bring a cup of coffee..which has to be the worst coffee i had in ages...a pot of hot milk with a jar of africacafe with it . I order a muffin which i saw one hotel staff bringing it from outsider ... it was the most dry stale piece of cake Wifi does not work, period. Room is decent but bed was horrible..sheets looks like they weren't changed from last guest . So thin that the moment you sit the sheet crumbles in. I had a spider in my bed which shows level of cleanliness. I'm not for writing bad reviews but this place almost made me cry specially as we stayed here after 7 days of hiking and were looking forward to a good night sleep but no chance . Table side lamp had no bulb and wrong plug..so clearly they know it wont work Next morning we had a early start for safari and asked for breakfast half hour early..the lady gave us previous nights roast veg/potatoes with previous nights fried bread.she warmed everything in microwave . We had a plain toast with coffee and left. Really utterly disappointing …

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and we experienced the magic of staying in a small cosy establishment as opposed to a big hotel.The rooms are clean and comfortable. The very friendly Edward and Kisanga fussed over our kids and nicknamed them (Dogoo na kakake) and went out of their way to make us comfortable). Highly recommended!

We strongly recommend this nice Hotel, we stayed for 2 nights and we had the warmest and most caring staying. We were treated as friends/ family specially by Gerard, he is a warm harted man that cooked for us authentic local food apart from teaching us some suahili words because for him is too important to share their traditions with their guests. Their attentions will be in our minds of hearts. Please if you decide to stay in this hotel send our greetings to Gerard and the team, we can ensure you that you won’t get disappointed by the great service of he Tellamande Lodge Arusha.

The rooms (tried two of them, one more like an apartment with shared kitchen and livingroom) are clean, comfortable and suitable for several nights. One room lacked closet but for two nights it was ok. The staff is very helpful and positive. Breakfast hours basically for how long you like and they will give you what you ask for. Dinner was a bit slow but very well cooked and the waitor/s very friendly, helpful and entertaining

We stayed one night in the 3-bedroom apartment located on the ground floor. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. However, they were super slow in serving our food at the bar-restaurant. The local chicken we ordered took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive! The snacks (humble peanuts) took more than an hour. The Margarita also took over an hour. The staff at the bar-restaurant showed no urgency whatsoever.

This is a budget hotel. One who expects more than that, this property is not going to provide it. That aside though, a budget hotel can be amazing if it hits the notes as I believe there is always a standard, luxury or budget, at their own price scale. We found the first impression to be average from arriving and being "welcomed" to the check in process. Good attitude should be served at budget hotels too. The shower getting the entire bathroom wet is somewhat not entirely new to us as we have gone through that in other budget hotels. However, an unserviceable hair dryer was placed in the bathroom as well as a couple of faulty lights. It is better to not provide something at all than provide it visually and not allow the use of it, I feel. The experience at the restaurant was a lot more positive as we had a very nice young lady tend to our needs. The breakfast was extremely limited but attitude of the gentleman who served us was very pleasant. …

Clean room and a nice garden, the WiFi worked. The staff was helpfull. When the shower is on, everything gets wet in the batroom. Cold water 1 day and the second time it was impossiple to mix the hot and cold water. It was freezing cold or to hot. When we ordered some food it took about 2 Hours and 40 minutes.
