Stayed here for five nights, overall it was amazing, hot water available at all times, WiFi was available too, breakfast could be better but it was good compared to the price we are paying. Friendly staff, the room was okay. The housekeepers did a really great job with our room, we are definitely coming back again and again.very good value for money

We stayed here for 3 nights, 2 before our safari and then one after. Each time we were impressed by the helpfulness of the friendly staff, they were happy to
print the health forms or Zanzibar and when I misplaced my wallet several helped me look for it, embarrassingly it was at the bottom of our suitcase. The restaurant has a good mix of food all was reasonably priced and tasty.

The rooms were clean and as long as we remembered to flick the switch plenty of hot water. We also appreciated their efforts in getting our rooms ready for an early check in when we arrived pretty tired after the flight from the UK

Nice place to stay in Arusha. Doris and her staff are making you feel at home: they are all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and very clean providing everything you need for a comfortable night. The wel kept gardens and swimming pool area are inviting to stay relaxed with a nice cappuccino with biscuit. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the delicious dinners. All you can get here for their really reasonable prices is exceptional ! Very very recommendable. Thank you Green Mountain Hotel !

Checked into our room, just to find out there was no WiFi connection at all, even tho the router/repeater was right next to the bed. Very strange. If we managed to catch a tad bit of signal, there was no speed whatsoever. Internet was really important for me as I had to do some work remotely every night. I complained to reception and the lady came upstairs and did the same thing I did, no internet, no signal, so I politely asked if we could please have a new room where there is WiFi. She said there is no other room with 2 beds, only double bed. So I said okay let's wait a little, maybe it will get better.

When we arrived to our room We turned on the A/C right away and went for dinner. In 2 hours the A/C did not cool anything, so I had no other option then to go to Reception and complain about not just No WiFi but No Air Conditioning either.
The lady said again unfortunately there is no other room with 2 beds, but if we want she can give us a room with double bed. Now both me and my friend are very big (6,2" and bulky), we knew that we are not going to have a good sleep in the same bed. I went to check if there is a room with 2 beds available to book for the same night, and Voilá, there was! I showed this to the lady at reception that I found a room with 2 bed in her hotel where she insisted there is none. So I politely ask if she can move us to that room, and said yeah no problem. I then asked if I can have a look in the room first, because if there is no wifi and no AC either there is no point us moving our bags etc.
We checked the room and the Air Conditioning was working perfectly, the WiFi signal was okay and the speed was slow but could load my e-mails so was fine. This rooms also was facing the street, which has superloud motorbikes and cars all night long.
The food at dinner was very pool unfortunately, beef burger bun too hard. The pizza base was cold and dry, the toppings hot.
In the morning when I wake up I normally do my bed, even in hotels, it's just a habit. Unfortunately I discovered the duvet being grossly dirty under the covers.
After reading other people's reviews It is possible that we just got super unlucky with our stay. But I had to share my honest and genuine feedback. Hopefully the hotel can benefit from my review.

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms are clean, big and comfortable, some with a balcony. The bathroom was very neat with a hot shower. It is situated near Old Moshi road and if your legs are OK you can walk to the city centre. The swimming pool is a pleasant place to stay. But most of all I liked the contact with the staff. They are ready to serve you and do that that in a very pleasant way: not with a distant attitude but really concerned about your well being. Love to come here again!

We stayed in 3 different rooms over three stays and all room were very clean, comfortable and beyond our expectations. The laundry service was excellent, fast and a great value. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the variety of options pleased everyone especially eggs cooked to order. The best part of the three stays, by far, was the staff. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the bell boy were exceptionally kind and helpful. The bellman, Haruna, in particular was a favorite with us all, especially my teenagers. He made us feel welcome and cared for. A fabulous human being!

Why the one star? In the end it's about a good night rest right? We specifically asked for a quiet room and the hotel confirmed our request. We hardly slept due to the continuously barking dogs (appearently from the neighbors). Even earplugs did not help. Things like a free upgrade are worth nothing if you simply don't sleep. On top of that, lunch and diner options in the restaurant will not make you smile. We are travelling the world for almost five months now and had one of the worst steaks here (seasoning is defenitely something else than just adding tons of salt. And de steak was more well done than i have ever seen). Totally don't understand why this place gets such good reviews.

This is day one review. We just arrived today. We were received warmly and welcomed with a glass of juice for each of us. The porter helped us with our luggage to the rooms and gave us an overview of the room. The receptionist, Salma was warm , polite, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and neat. We got an upgrade from the standard rooms to the executive rooms which was really awesome as my teenage daughter and son could finally get separate beds in their room which is what works best for them. The room s have hot water for shower. The WiFi is weak as in all hotels in Arusha. That’s a global issue for the town. We hanged out at the pool for a bit before dinner. The ambiance and service is good. The beds in the rooms are comfortable and clean and the furnishing is tasteful. Overall we are happy with the first night. We are here for three days. Further updates to follow…

Spent four nights at the hotel. Its a nice small hotel located in a quiet area, close to Arusha city Centre and to the upmarket Njiro area. The rooms are nice and have small amenities included. Their standards rooms are small and basic, so if you love your space, book either a deluxe or executive room which are modern, spacious with tea and coffee making facilities also provided in the latter two.

The staff are a credit to the hotel. From the gate, to the reception, to the restaurant and room keeping. They are all welcoming, professional and willing to assist.

They have a good enough internet connection.

I found their breakfast to be satisfactory. (comparing to other hotels in their range where i have stayed before).

This hotel was so lovely to stay at after our Safari and week in Zanzibar before heading back t the UK. We had a suit for our family of four and the service was awesome. The staff provided us with a walk round and then we chilled for the afternoon enjoying their lovely menu and attentive service. Whether you are having a quick stay or a longer holiday at this hotel you will absolutely be made so welcome and relaxed at every moment. Thank you!
