Bed sheets were dirty, we found body hair on them (photos on my comment) + Blankets are dusty, I don’t recommend if you’re allergic ! + No hot water, I asked at the reception but didn’t have any solution but to take a cold shower… + DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT : the food is average and I have been sick just after, a nightmare when you’re suppose to travel to the airport… 😥 + Bugs on the floor in the room… Staff is good but, clearly do not take the risk of being sick or have a bad experience !
My partner and I stayed at the Karibu Heritage hotel before our Safari trip with Wakanda tours. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful front of house staff, in particular Sifael went out of his way to cater to all our needs. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and had a lovely balcony... perfect spot for reading whilst taking in the scenary! The bed was very comfortable too, which we appreciated after traveling for three days to reach Tanzania. Sifael was very helpful in providing recommendations for where to eat, he suggested George's Tavern and he wasn't wrong in his description of the place...'very nice and delicious food'. Breakfast at the Karibu Heritage hotel was great too and set us up nicely for our first Safari day! I couldn't recommend Karibu Heritage hotel highly enough!…
We stayed at karibou heritage house before and after our excursions for safari and mount kilimandjaro. The hotel has a beautiful garden with a lot of plants and a clean swimming pool. The rooms are furnished with not the newest but convenient furniture. The showers were rather cold most of the time. The staff was very very helpful and friendly.
We had a great stay at Karibu Heritage House - the hotel rooms were clean and airy, the pool and gardens were calm and peaceful, the breakfast was generous, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Oh and the laundry service was efficient and a real bonus. Asante sana KHH for looking after us so well during our time in Arusha!
I can't begin to express my gratitude to the owner and staff of this place. It is so beautiful, well kept up, and clean, with spacious rooms, peaceful, quiet grounds to roam, and a staff who will to anything to accommodate their guest's needs and requests. I My husband and I, our driver and our Tanzanian travel companion have stayed here 3 years in a row and will continue to. the Karibu Heritage House gives us a generous discount for our multiple rooms and a huge, complementary, delicious breakfast each morning. I have just arrived back to the USA from my stay with them, and this year they even accommodated my Arusha friend for breakfast each morning also- free of charge! In my 7 years of annual travel to Arusha, I have yet to find any place better than here! I'd like to add this message to Emmanuel, the manager: Your gracious understanding of my group's difficulties the morning of our departure is beyond generous. Sifahili, (not sure I spelled it right) your greeting and dinning room host, is the most honest, upright, beautiful man my group has ever met!…
Beautiful hidden place outside of downtown Arusha. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to enjoy the pool. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Having your breakfast table all laid out for you when you arrive in the morning is a great way to start the day. The staff is warm and welcoming, even pointing out when my fiance's safari vehicle was pulling in since I was engrossed in my book!
Beautiful, Quiet and best place to stay especially if you looking to relax and be away from the city. it has a beautiful garden with swimming pool. Budget Friendly and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well furnished and clean.
I had such a pleasure to stay 4 nights in Karibu Heritage House. The staff are just amazing, they do anything to make you feel welcome. Rooms are nice and clean, nothing to complain. The manager Emmanuel is so helpful as all the rest of the staff too. I can't wait to go back. One tip, ask for a room with a balcony.
A very nice, quiet, clean, peaceful hotel. Very good value for money but it is the staff which make it worth recommending - they could not do enough for us. The meals were very fresh and cooked in front of us. Breakfasts were simple but hearty.
I have always stayed in this hotel in Arusha because of its prices. Its affordable and offers as good services as any good hotel. I like the food too. I also enjoy the free and fast internet services over WiFi.
