We had the most magical honeymoon organised by Sarvan from Dik Dik! We were very well looked after both for our safari and for the Zanzibar/Pemba trip! It was the right mix of having our own space and being looked after. The driver and the cook were amazing and the trip couldn´t not have been made more perfect!

This is a great place to relax after climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. Quiet, hot showers, beautiful bungalow rooms, great food, excellent staff. It was included in our booking of a Kilimanjaro climb through a local outiftter and the quality of this place was a very pleasant surprise.

No televisions in the rooms. Bring a book.

First time we came here. The Dik Did hotel is so nice and hotel staff is really so courteous and caring for the clients.
They do exceptional work their aim to satisfy their clients no matter what they do. The place is full of Greenry..
Rooms are so beautiful and bed is so comfortable..
But the hotel is far from the main city. Otherwise all is good..

I was pleasantly surprised when I learned that the food in the restaurant comes from the garden of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food is great and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. They also have a viewing towers which in a good cloud-free day can give you access to nice views of Meru and Kilimanjaro.

We stayed here as a family on our way to the parks in the north of Tanzania. The hotel is very convenently located between the international airport and Arusha, and is far enough off the road to be lovely and quiet. The rooms are large, clean and most importantly, everything works! (which is rarely true of hotels in TZ) , the grounds are lovely, with a small but deep swimming pool, and the chef serves amazingly good food. It is very nice to stay in a place where it is not over priced or badly run, so thanks to everyone there. The only remotely negaive thing is that the triple room we had is near the kitchen door, and the staff were sometimes a little noisy. The other rooms our family stayed in were much quieter!

What a place!! I had a great time over there with my wife. The ambience of the place is cozy which makes you feel great. The staff also always greets you and their greetings are heart felt. The bed is soft and comfortable and the bathrooms are super clean. The place is accessible so you want face a problem reaching there. All in all, I can say money well spent

Nicely hidden away, this large property is the best place to get aclimatized to the area before starting the big climb. The hotel staff is very attentive and the bar has decent prices. Food was so-so, but their celebration dinner after the climb was awesome.

Stayed at the Dik Dik while traveling to Tanzania to climb Mt Kilimanjaro and then go on safari nearby. The grounds are well kept and pleasant, the rooms more than adequate, the food good, and the staff friendly and helpful.

A nice bonus was monkeys frolicking in the trees outside of our room.

The Dik Dik serves as an excellent layover spot. The drive from the airport is reasonable, and if you are coming from the USA or Western Europe you are most likely going to arrive into the Kilimanjaro Airport from Amsterdam in the evening. We used the Dik Dik as a base to make final preparations for our climb of Mt Kilimanjaro, then to clean up after the climb and get a good nights rest before heading out on safari. Finally, we took day rooms to crash and re-pack before departing from the Kilimanjaro airport. On each of our three arrivals we were received enthusiastically and warmly.

There is free wifi in the main building. Like everywhere we went in Tanzania, the quality of service frequently was too slow to be of much use. I believe this is a Tanzania infrastructure problem, and not specifically a Dik DIk issue.

I do not consider the Dik DIk a destination lodge in and of itself. It works best for layovers while in the area for other activities.

Stayed here on a family safari trip and it was wonderful. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. Our rooms were adorable, and we had our own hammocks right out front. Showers were hot, everything was clean, and the food was great. The grounds are kept immaculate. I would love to go back someday!

"Ideal place to sleep out if you are on safari or hiking and need to catch up on a good rest before a flight. It has a nice pool to unwind. I stayed for a night after a grueling hike up mount Kilimanjaro."
