Beautiful and peaceful place. Definitely will come back.... Very well organised and clean environment. Food is tops and staff is so so friendly. Regina at the reception has been very very helpful and always smiling.
Super friendly host :) the food was very good, very flexible times with breakfast when we had to leave early for safari, the rooms are okay - the place was really quiet and we could relax after our trips - anytime again!
This boutique hotel was so peaceful and quiet. Amazing while resting in Arusha before going in our Safari and again before heading home. Regina and Edwin are amazing and so friendly. We absolutely loved meeting them! Our room was very cozy with AC, and good amenities. The dining was great too!
My brother in law and I stayed at the Zawadi house and used it as a base for our stay in Tanzania as we climbed Kilimanjaro and went on safari. Regina our hostess was cheerful, gracious and most accommodating as we came and went. The facility is located in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood with a beautiful garden. Afti prepared our meals for us and it couldn't have been more delicious. If you are looking for quiet, comfortable and a very personable and gracious host, you will be most satisfied with this choice.
The hotel was perfect for our group. We had enough people where we filled all the rooms to the hotel. The hotel cooked us breakfast and dinner. The staff was very nice and enjoyable. We were there for a mission trip and working with many local churches. The hotel is gated and has well maintained grounds. We did have an issue with water flowing and the AC working but the hotel staff fixed the issues quickly. Overall it was a pleasent experience.
A boutique lodge with comfort & the convenience of being at home. The excursions made for a fantastic holiday and were fun for all! Thanks to our tour guide Edwin who had a great connection with kids.
Loved my stay here. I couldn’t ask for better service or more pleasant staff. Rooms were nice. African meals were good. I would stay there again if I ever go back to Arusha. Even had monkeys on the roof and in the trees one morning. Staff tries to take care of everything for you. Laundry service was very reasonable and efficient.
Very nice place to stay out just outside Arusha. The place is nice and quiet and this is ideal if you do not wish to be in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Arusha city. You’re about 10mins drive so very close. The accommodation is a great place to relax and unwind and good value. The decor and the rooms are slightly beginning to show some wear and tear but all in all, still a good place. I suppose this will be handled by upcoming renovations. The staff are brilliant. Nicholas and Afti were brilliant. Nicholas was super helpful and gave great advice as well as always being on hand. Phenomenal guy. Afti as the Chef also prepares really great meals and one must definitely try the ugali. Have to warn though that the road to get there appears a bit rough but it’s not dissimilar from what we observed when travelling around Tanzania. The main highway is spotless, but the side streets are not paved. Would not hesitate to boom here again and if the trip to climb Kilimanjaro arises, I will definitely stay here again before setting off.…
Good stuff: well equipped rooms, well maintained, basic yet good healthy breakfast (we didn't have dinner there so I can't say anything about it), Yvonne at the reception was very helpful and easy to reach on WhatsApp even when she wasn't at the hotel, Nicolas- the other receptionist - seemed like a nice guy but he needs to improve his english. When we had to leave early at 5:00 Nicolas woke up early with us and prepared us breakfast. Not so good sruff: a bit far from the city center, and located in a secluded alley with nothing around you. Also, there were neither extra blankets nor heating facilities although it was cold at nights.
We stayed in zawadi lodge in Arusha. It has lovely cozy feel to it. The rooms are basic and the toilets need further attention. However the staff were very friendly and helpful , especially Nichols who helped us find a good safari tour. The food was delicious and chef Afty was amazing. We had home made African dish for dinner. Breakfast was yummy. Recommended if you are looking for B&B.
