When I was there there was a slightly noisy water pump ( we were in a regular room and upgraded to luxury one where I did not have this problem) - should have brought my ear plugs. This issue may have been resolved but just in case, do remember to always travel with a good pair of earplugs! Just in case.
The luxury rooms are most definitely worth it! If you can, try and snag yourself a deal on these rooms or simply pay the extra amount, especially if you are there for a short stay. For longer stays, the normal rooms are extremely good value for money.
Lovely pool and location! Except the road leading to the venue is really rough. The service is outstanding though. Booking is a breeze, The quality of service and supervision is excellent. The evening meals are wonderful though you only get a buffet, which is really good value for money if you are a meat eater but not so much if you are a vegetarian. They nonetheless cater for vegeterians with spelendid selection every night. I'd definately go there again and higly recomend it.

Great start with unbeatable value for money! We chose the hotel for the first night before the start of our safari. Less than 1.5 hours from Kilimanjaro airport we were welcomed after a sometimes quite bumpy journey. The facility immediately invited you to relax. A green oasis of tranquility with ample seating, beautiful pool and great bar. Staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. The slightly too dark rooms are very nicely decorated – the bed comfortable with good mattress, mosquito nets and pleasant pillows. The bathroom is large and clean. A small table with seating completes the equipment. With our two large duffel bags we had too little storage space but the problem has accompanied us almost throughout Tanzania. The evening meal ($12) was buffet style - small but fine - and offered something for everyone. After dinner, there was a vocal performance by the staff. Unfortunately we were picked up the next day after a good breakfast. All in all, it was an excellent start to the travel adventure and the warmth of the staff has stayed with us in particular. The only good thing about this hotel was that I could take a hot shower after days of safari. The rest is average or below average. There was a power outage and my room (as many other rooms are) was close to their generator. It was difficult to fall asleep with the noise it made. Their set buffet dinner is tasteless with only 2-3 options to choose from. Their taxi transfers are overpriced, use Bolt, InDrive or other private taxis in Arusha- they are much cheaper.
And the road to the hotel is horrible.

We do indeed have a generator as a backup for power outages. We do have a buffet for dinners on busy nights. We indeed do offer transfers and taxi services, with prices visible on the board at the reception, transparent and clear as to be expected from a hotel. The facilities are not very spacious but are fine, with lots of green. The pool and sun loungers were a little dirty. The room was clean although it was a bit dark (especially the bathroom). As the area has glass around it, there is no silence. Dinner was buffet style and was very good. Of course, I don't think it's right that when you pay cash for water, when you turn around, they round up and give you less.

I loved this hotel! The staff are incredibly friendly and everything is clean and comfortable. The management team are always around to assist if you need help, and the food is reasonably priced and very good! I really feel like everybody here goes above and beyond to give you the best travel experience. I didn’t catch everybody’s names but I would like to name Rehema, Frida, and Abigail as some of the lovely ladies that made me feel really at home here :)

The Africa Safari Arusha is a beautiful hotel set in lovely grounds. Rooms are very nicely decorated with comfy beds and very nice wnsuute shower rooms. Food was really good and they catered very well for my coeliac husband, making him his own pancakes for breakfast and items for his dinner too.
The best bit about this hotel is undoubtedly the staff - efficient & friendly, they made the stay extra special.
