So, the accommodation is a little dated, but the villas are really nice. Bathroom and bedroom are great, balcony a little small. Beds are (very) hard - the only downside I can mention. We stayed here 3 days: 1 upon arrival before our Kilimanjaro trekking and 2 days afterwards. Reason being that KLM did not fly on the original day we booked it - but in Covid times beggars can't be choosers. We were so glad we made it out there in the first place. Ans so is the staff, it shows continuously: every person is greeting you with a smile, all are trying to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We did not see many tourists, and most stay one night only. If you are there doing nothing (like we did for 2 days) it is a pleasant environment. Wifi pretty ok, a nice lobby with a small shop, a chessboard and football on the tele. But the best time you will have lounging in the garden or at the pool (with a bar) - hakuna matata! Food was - in our opinion - very good, excellent sometimes. However, a little pricey. Good selection of local beers - that do taste great after 8 days on the mountain! Great massage- highly recommend it. Yes, put your valuables in the safe - it is for your & their protection. Again: great secluded place, very friendly staff and a hidden gem for the spoiled tourist!

Very friendly staff as well as nicely designed colonial hotel in the city of Arusha. We stayed here for our first night upon arrival in Tanzania. The warm welcome by the staff and friendly atmosphere in the hotel was very nice after a long voyage. The dinner and breakfast was served in the main dining hall and was of good quality. The rooms were individual houses complete with airco and bathroom. We had a view on the pool.

The service of the staff was very friendly, food (the breakfast had a lot of choise and was tastefull), the room was clean and big enough, so in general the stay was excellent. We recomment this hotel for other guests.
