So happy to find this place after a long flight, although not sure why it's described by others as being in Arusha. It costs $50US to get to Arusha city by taxi from the airport, which is quite far away, and one of the most congested, crowded, chaotic, polluted cities we've ever had the challenge of driving through. Planet Lodge is quite removed from all that, thankfully, a little oasis near the airport. Grounds are wonderful, lots of birds. We sat by the pool with a cold Serengeti lager to unwind which was wonderful. Rooms are fantastic, large super comfy bed, nice shower facilities. We only ate one meal, pizza, and it was not good. Staff was friendly and attentive. Please feed the restaurant kitty (as I did), she looks skinny. Maybe if you fed her at the same time in the same place away from the restaurant she wouldn't feel the need to beg from diners. Otherwise, wonderful stay, thank you.…

Comfortable accommodations and wonderful service! Very relaxing environment which was very much needed after traveling about 33 hours from the US. The massage/spa add on was also a plus. Definitely recommend staying here if staying in Arusha!

We arrived at Planet Lodge after 30+ hrs of traveling. We were exhausted, hungry, and in dire need of comfort. Planet Lodge was just the ticket! Food was delicious (though in fairness, a plate of chips would have done us), service was immediate, shower was sublime (careful, tile was slippery), bedding was divine.

Clean rooms, very friendly and caring staff (we had some health issues). Top class footware cleaning! Owls in the garden:) Breakfast is rich and tasty. Prices are fair ( not cheap but understandable in the context for the luxorious facilities and services)

We started our Tanzania Safari from here. The hotel was charming, offering comfortable rooms and staffed by people who are always ready to provide a service with a smile! We ate some exquisite meals there and also drank a couple of nice cocktails. The stay was truly pleasant.

I was very impressed. Wonderful grounds, rooms, pool, and employees. I stayed in room 2 and it was really nice with a desk overlooking the grounds. There are many trees, and birds in the trees. The food was decent, but I wouldn’t say amazing. Great location to many parts of Arusha. The only downside is there is street noise on the right hand side of the grounds.

Wonderful grounds, rooms, pool, and employees." and thoroughly enjoyed room #2. Yes, we have some street noise now that construction of the road is wrapping up we do hope that to be less and less as the newly tarmac road gets into full use. Yes, we will continue to improve our food as well in order to best meet our guests expectations. My boyfriend and I, stayed for two nights at Arusha Planet Lodge as part of our Safari trip. The lodge was beautiful, even though it was in the busy town of Arusha, it was very quiet with a great garden. The room was spacious and super clean and the food was very good. Most importantly, the service was excellent, the staff was helpful and very friendly. Definitely recommend you to book your stay! at Arusha Planet Lodge!

After our arrival in Tansania and in Arusha we spend the whole afternoon and night in this accommodation. For us this was perfect. We stayed at the pool and strolled through the big garden looking at plants and flowers. Dinner was served after drinks at the bar and everything was delicious. Breakfast included fresh fruits and pancakes and eggs and everything you wish for. Staff is just amazing and friendly and super sweet. Would recommend this for one or two days.

We loved our evening at the Arusha Planet Lodge. It was clean, had stunning, plant filled walkways, and a nice pool to hang out by. They decorated or room to help us celebrate our honeymoon, and that was very special. We suggest this place to anyone in Arusha!
