After finishing our safari trip, my fiancée and I stayed at Christina House for one night prior to our flight from Kilimanjaro the following morning.
Here are some thoughts on the property:
- Clean, fairly spacious room
- Warm shower
- Pleasant staff

I did not find Christina's House noisy, based on extensive travel in Africa (East and West), I When I was there with students in June, the road was not finished and so there was heavy equipment around. Finished road should actually produce less noise. Christina House comprises a compound with a high wall and thick vegetation, providing insulation from the street.
The accommodations are lovely and the owner and staff are warm and engaging. For many of my students, the stay at Christina House was the highlight of their 3 weeks in East Africa. And the food is fabulous.
