The Dan Stam Hotel is an excellent place to stay. We arrived and stayed 1 day before leaving for safari. Very comfortable rooms, clean and well-kept, excellent fresh/homemade dinners, and delightful staff beyond our expectations with their kindness and hospitality especially Tumaini. It was a perfect place to stay and start the safari. I would highly recommend Dam Stan to anyone coming to the area.

This hotel was a very nice and charming place. The people were lovely, the rooms were clean and modern, and the food and general atmosphere was warm and kind. We stayed here for 3 nights and really appreciated the peace and quiet that was here.

The Dan Stam Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable rooms, beautiful plant laden grounds that bring in all sorts of birds, excellent, fresh/homemade lunches and dinners, delightful staff. The owner is very accommodating. It is a wonderful place to stay.

We started and ended our trip at the Dan Stam hotel. Flowers everyplace, a back garden for relaxing; lovely, comfortable rooms, great food,accomodating staff, and an owner who went out of his way to be helpful. It was a perfect place to stay.

We loved our stay at the Dan Stam. The staff was lovely, the rooms were immaculate and the food delicious. What more can I say? It is located a ways out of the hustle and bustle of Arusha, and offered a quiet, relaxed atmosphere.

The staff are relaxed and very friendly. Honestly felt like home. We were treated like family and felt part of the staff! Accommodation was clean and comfortable and couldn’t ask for more. Definitely recommend!

The Dan Stam Hotel was an excellent place to stay during our time in Arusha. The rooms were clean and well-kept, the staff was BEYOND our expectations with their kindness and hospitality, and the location was perfect (away from the busy Arusha city center but still easily accessible). They served delicious breakfasts each day and we had a wonderful dinner meal there too. I also loved the lushness of the grounds and the mountain view! I would highly recommend Dam Stan to anyone coming to the area and cannot speak more highly of Dan Stam the awesome staff!

What a delightful place! The staff are warm and friendly and very attentive and helped us with all our questions, even when we were having trouble getting our luggage from the airport! The rooms are comfortable and the food is very good and a great value. Add in the view and you will be happy you came!!

HHA is a non-profit organization based in Moshi, TZ with many outreach clinics including Maasai villages nearby Arusha. The HHA team stays overnight at this wonderful, well-kept hotel when it has monthly Maasai villages clinics during the dry season. It was such a great place to come to at the end of the day since we drive at least 1hr both ways to reach the Maasai villages where the HHA team attends patients. The room was very clean, nicely organized with needed outlet, hot shower, mosquito net. The restaurant makes it super easy to get some delicious food & drinks instead of getting back into the car to go into Arusha. The staff & owner are very attentive & very helpful. I can't wait to go back!!
