The place is very clean, the location is perfect for the city view from the balcony. Staff are very informative and meals are enough and delicious. Thanks for the driver tax recommend by the hotel. They guy showed us the city experience in the night.

We stayed here one night before our safari and one night after. Staff is very friendly and room is very nice. However, the location isn’t the best. And the restaurant has a very limited menu. The worst thing is the noise from the gate to the parking. When it is opened and closed it makes a lot of noise and makes it Impossible to sleep. Something should be done about that.

My wife and me spent one night in africana Grand hotel in Arusha and weren't particularly impressed. The location is in an unpaved road in an area that wasn't close to the centre, however it was walking distance to the main bus station. The area close to the hotel is busy during day and night but there's is hardly any disturbance in the hotel because of that. Our room was fine and the bed I have to say it was comfortable and big, however we had to request extra items as they only prepared the room for one person (and they never brought a second bottle of water). The staff at reception were very friendly though. Personally, I'd rather recommend somewhere else closer to the city centre.

Stayed for about a week. Very friendly staff that do their best to help arrange things for you. Very clean place with a beautiful view from the higher stories. Nice food in the restaurant, however be prepared that it takes some time when you order lunch/dinner.

The hotel is actually quite nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. I dinged them a little because they arranged a taxi for us to the airport and he was either drunk, extremely tired or on drugs. We did not feel safe for the entire 90 minute drive. They also advertised air conditioning but what they actually have is a dehumidifier which doesn’t do the trick. Other than that, the hot water heater for the shower is quite quirky but sort of works. They had cold beer and the free breakfast was ok. Again, the service was actually pretty good. Their English was pretty good as well. Location isn't the best for mzungu. It seemed like maybe there was a part of town that most mzungu stay and this was definitely far from it. We didn't feel very safe walking around after dark. Most of the restaurants and things that rate highly on Google are far away.…

if you are staying for 1 night before heading for mount meru or a safari then it is a ideal hotel as its location is good and it serves the purpose for a quick one night. rooms are very clean and comfortable.breakfast was okay. Budget hotel

This was the first time to book at this hotel and i stayed for 10 nights. Their services are excellent includes foods, good hospitality of services team who was charming to all customers, their room are big with flat tv and clean all the time. Thank you Africana Grand Hotel for your services to me.
