Very nice hotel near the middle of Arusha. Friendly staff and nice artwork and flowers around the property. Only stayed for one night but rooms were large, comfortable and food was very good. Delicious breakfast buffet before setting off on safari.

Our experience at the African Tulip was excellent. The staff was very helpful. A couple of our travelers did not get their luggage. The staff communicated with the airline and arranged for the bags to be brought to the hotel once they arrived. Everyone is ready to help in anyway they can. The rooms, and the whole hotel, are very nice. The safari theme helped us to get in the mood for the upcoming activity. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We had both breakfast and dinner and everyone in our party liked the food very much. We did not use the pool or the bar but they looked very nice.

Had a wonderful stay at The African Tulip a couple weeks ago, as we wrapped up our Zanzibar experience, and before we started the Serengeti safari journey. The rooms were well-amentized, food choices were amazing, staff very welcoming and location impeccable. Would happily stay at this facility if I am back in the region!

I was traveling with two two young ladies in my family. We hade two rooms, both were comfortable. The staff was outstanding. A young man at the front desk, Victor was particularly helpful and went out of his way to help me with a difficult booking. The food in the restaurant was good, as was the service. Nice pool and outside area including a bar and seating in both sun and shade. The place was spotless. We had a great stay.

We stayed at the African Tulip for the first night of our family safari trip. Beautiful hotel, top notch and friendly service. The food was excellent. Lunch and Dinner buffets were Indian food and wonderful daily soup. Mr. Deepanshu was very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. The pool area and bar were beautiful. We didn’t get to use the pool because it wasn’t warm enough outside, but very nice place to hang out to rest, read, and play cards. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Highly recommend staying here. I wish we had another night here.

Not only is this beautiful boutique hotel nestled on a quiet road most appropriately called Serengeti road in the heart of Arusha ,but it offered us more than we could ask for .the hotel is spotlessly clean and the gardens are immaculate.the staff are super nice and food is outstanding Nobody hassles you unlike some of the other hotels we previously stayed at It has a beautiful shop with extremely reasonable prices It’s quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to stay at the start of a safari or after ,just to chill out and relax Each room seem to be different and very tastefully decorated Can’t wait to go back

This hotel is extremely well run. The staff is excellent and the rooms well appointed. The breakfast is fresh and varied and dinners are also good and extremely reasonable for the quality. It is attached to Roy Safari and accommodates safari needs like baggage storage. Highly recommended.
