The bed, location, staff, was great. People are really aware of your wellness, they want to give you the best experience. Pool and a bar close the pool bring you peaceful moment. The room clean and big with ac. Nothing to add, we recommend.

I strongly recommend this hotel in Arusha. Spacious rooms, clean, quiet and staff super friendly. Breakfast and dinner are good also and walking distance from city center. There is also a small swimming pool and nice garden. Visited with family of 4 prior to go to the Serengeti.

The African Tulip was our introduction to Arusha and the starting point of our safari. Other than minimal language barriers, this place was fantastic. They value their clients and treat them like royalty. Very clean establishment and efficient team. Our dining experience was fabulous with delicious and tasty food choices. We also enjoyed their beautiful grounds around the pool and took enjoyed beverages at poolside and even took a dip. We were able to leave our larger luggage here while on safari. After safari we returned here for a one night stay before departing to Egypt. We had a beautiful dinner and the chef prepared a farewell, good-bye cake. A very kind, loving team.

What a nice hotel, away from the crowd. Is like a hotel in a garden. Well-manicured gardens in the compound. The interior was done with a colonial touch which gives it a special feel. Staff are well trained and prompt in their service. The rooms are very spacious and so comfortable.

We stayed at African Tulip for 2 nights while in Arusha where we were able to visit Arusha National Park (do not miss!) and then explore the community. This was a beautiful and peaceful hotel to return to each day. We loved the pool and poolside bar, the dining room food and staff were fantastic, and the rooms were HUGE with excellent air conditioning. We loved the huge jug of drinking water and the view of Mt. Meru we had from the 3rd floor. Highly recommend! Staff and facilities were top notch!

The hotel surroundings were beautiful, as was the garden where we enjoyed the bar next to the pool. The room was small and dark with no window that opened. Air con and a water dispenser( hot and cold) was nice. Restaurant was nice but the food only ok. All staff super friendly and nice.

We arrived at the African Tulip after a very long journey from the UK and this place was just what we needed! Quick check in & our room was ready so we went up to our beautifully African themed bedroom to sleep for a couple of hours then down for a lovely lunch and dip in the pool. The whole place was just breathtakingly beautiful! The staff were all next level kind & friendly. We had a lovely dinner and an early night, followed by a fab breakfast and off on our first safari drive. We would 100% recommend the African Tulip if your starting or finishing your safari in Arusha. We look forward to returning one, very soon I hope!

We had the beautiful roomy suite with balcony with a sofa and various flower plants. Bed and room were quite comfortable. The restaurant was well equipped and with nice decor. A good variety of food items were on offer. Service was excellent with the manager checking how things were! Going by the number of tourists from various parts of the world the African Tulip seems to be very popular. The greenery all around and inside the hotel is remarkable and refreshing! They really look after you well. The owner makes frequent trips inside to check on the guests! Will be more than happy to stay there once again!

Stayed for 2 nights prior to driving to Ngorongoro crater for safari. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Ate buffet style breakfast/ dinner and ala-carte for lunch. They do have chefs specializing in Indian cuisine and we definitely enjoyed some good Indian food during our stay. If you are a tea drinker then definitely try their Masala tea which is very good.
