We stayed at the hotel for three nights in September before we started our Safari. The hotel was comfortable, and the staff were very helpful and kind. The food in the hotel was excellent (we were HB) I highly recommend the hotel and its staff.
We stayed here for one night before we began our safari and had a lovely time. The dinner and breakfast was well priced and very tasty and the room was spacious and clean. The building was also beautiful and very unique; the tree in the centre of the restaurant was a very nice touch. We had a bit of confusion regarding the bill but this was very quickly resolved. Would definitely recommend.
Beautifully appointed boutique hotel inspired by British colonial design. Staff was exceptionally friendly and competent. Food was delicious and the room elegant and spacious. It will be my first choice when we go back to Arusha! I just wish we could have stayed longer.
This place hardly needs another glowing review, but that won’t stop me. Tranquil and comfortable, friendly staff, beautiful rooms. If you can stay here then do so. So worth it. I found a discounted rate, which didn’t take much to dig up. Your stay will be 5 stars, do not doubt that. Their preferred driver sets his own prices and they are pretty outlandish, so be prepared or make other arrangements.
This was the perfect place to relax at the end of an 8 night safari. The staff is excellent. The front desk accommodated our need to stay past check out time due to a late flight. Lounge was a lovely place to sit and chat with fellow travelers.
Excellent hotel as a base for pre and post safari. Lonely Planet write up concurs. The rooms are spacious and clean - try and ger the room with the balcony. Hotel has a pool, two bars, nice food and very friendy helpful staff. We stayed three nights. Recommended.
We spent our last night recovering from a nine day safari e for returning home. It was a wonderful place to unwind and relax before the long trip home. The room was great and the services were outstanding.
I absolutely loved staying here. This is a 22 room boutique hotel with a large and wonderful staff who are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and beautiful and I especially enjoyed the large soaking tub . We stayed here before and after our safari. The restaurant has good food and good service. The pool area is gorgeous and private. Fatima in the restaurant was charming and warm and I looked forward to seeing her every time. This is the only place I would want to stay!
The staff is phenomenal and made our stay so enjoyable. They made us feel welcome and consistently went far beyond what one would expect. This included ensuring our fragile items were packed perfectly, working with me to fine tune my Swahili language skills, keeping us well fed, securing our boarding passes, and making us happy. Some of their stars include: Relema, Denis, Faraji, Shija, Mary, Fatima, and Edna.
We booked our Safari through Roy's and since they own this hotel we were fortunate enough to stay here. It's a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are outstanding and the service is all you can ask for. Susan and Sanjay are excellent hosts and the staff if so anxious to take care of your every need. We LOVED staying here!!
