We only stayed one night before heading out on safari, so our stay was brief, Had a lovely room. Staff were charming and helpful and the food in the restaurant very good. Would happily have stayed for longer.
I had the opportunity to stay for two nights. Staff was very accommodating with my requests. I had laundry service which was brought back fresh, folded and quickly. Dined in their restaurant for a few meals and the food was bursting with different flavors. An amazing experience and great sleep.
After 24 hours of travel, The Tulip was a delight, rooms were large and very clean; but the staff is what makes it a wonderful experience. There was a problem created by our tour company about what day that we were to arrive. The staff assisted us in resolving the problem and provide us with refreshments as we waited to get checked it. The restaurant staff was also wonderful as well.
After a 24-hour trip from New York to Arusha, the African Tulip was the perfect place to relax and get ready for my upcoming safari. The staff was wonderful and greeted you the minute you walked through the door. The room was very comfortable and there was a great view of the hotel pool and the trees surrounding the grounds (in particular the Jacaranda trees were gorgeous). There is a television in the room, which was welcomed as it allowed me to watch an Arsenal match! There were many choices for breakfast, which is served in a beautifully decorated dining area. I was at the hotel for just one night, but I found it charming and welcoming. I would highly recommend it.
We stayed here for a total of 3 nights and had a great time. The location is in the city centre and relatively a safe neighbourhood. The staff is helpful and the rooms are clean. The breakfast spread was amazing and the chef made sure we had abundant options since we are all vegetarians!
We stayed at the hotel for three nights in September before we started our Safari. The hotel was comfortable, and the staff were very helpful and kind. The food in the hotel was excellent (we were HB) I highly recommend the hotel and its staff.
We stayed here for one night before we began our safari and had a lovely time. The dinner and breakfast was well priced and very tasty and the room was spacious and clean. The building was also beautiful and very unique; the tree in the centre of the restaurant was a very nice touch. We had a bit of confusion regarding the bill but this was very quickly resolved. Would definitely recommend.
Beautifully appointed boutique hotel inspired by British colonial design. Staff was exceptionally friendly and competent. Food was delicious and the room elegant and spacious. It will be my first choice when we go back to Arusha! I just wish we could have stayed longer.
This place hardly needs another glowing review, but that won’t stop me. Tranquil and comfortable, friendly staff, beautiful rooms. If you can stay here then do so. So worth it. I found a discounted rate, which didn’t take much to dig up. Your stay will be 5 stars, do not doubt that. Their preferred driver sets his own prices and they are pretty outlandish, so be prepared or make other arrangements.
This was the perfect place to relax at the end of an 8 night safari. The staff is excellent. The front desk accommodated our need to stay past check out time due to a late flight. Lounge was a lovely place to sit and chat with fellow travelers.
