After a long few days of travel we had the privilege of staying at the African Tulip. We arrived after dinner to find the chef had waited to ensure everyone was fed. The room was spacious with all the comforts of home. Water and coffee are provided in the room. The staff was happy to make sure your every need was met as well as following covid protocol. The food was amazing, you have to try the samosa...you will not be sorry. The African Tulip will be our first stop when we travel to Tanzania again.
This was my second stay. A review with pictures from the first stay has already been posted. The service at reception was friendly, prompt, and efficient. The room was lovely, clean and very quiet. As stated before there is excellent wi-fi in the room. I had both dinner and breakfast here this time. Dinner is ala carte and the service was prompt as was the preparation of a very good meal. Thank you again to African Tulip. This will not be my last stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
We have just returned two days ago from 30 day safari in TZ...it was breathtaking as usual..we have taken a number of safaris under the watchful eye of Roy Safari, the premier tour operator in Africa. One of our "must stops" among hotels and lodges is the African Tulip....one of our favorites. The probable most common description of the AT is "boutique" but we prefer to think of it as a place to time travel...back to the days of Ernest Hemingway...with pith helmets, swagger sticks, mustaches, and jodhpur pants. The dark wood in the bar and sitting areas are classic Casablanca settings and you expect Humphrey Bogart to come thru the lobby any moment. The rooms are all animal themed, the staff is predictably top notch, the food is excellent, etc. Incidentally, a great place to…
Good service, feels like a tourist accommodation in Dodoma. Good reception and friendly staff.... Big spacious rooms and excellent for Business trips as they have a work space in the rooms. Thank you for your hospitality. See you soon!
This hotel is a lovely boutique property in Arusha. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. They offer a nice menu for lunch and dinner. The rooms are well furnished and I really enjoy the bathtub. Some rooms offer a balcony, which is my personal favourite. A great location for those looking to explore Arusha town. The pool area is quiet and cozy. As a travel agent I was very impressed with my stay and my clients enjoy it too.
