Detailed Reviews
A group of us (Tanzanians and folks from "Western" countries) stayed at the Naura Springs Hotel for one night en route to Ngorongoro. This hotel is modern and glassy looking upon approach but the inside is slapped together with cheap materials, and there are some significant problems with the plumbing, windows, etc., that lead to concerns about the overall construction. We had rooms strewn across four floors, and two rooms on the floor on which I stayed (4th) and one on the 3rd floor had showers that were so messed up that simply turning them on a quarter turn shot water horizontally, vertically upward -- basically every direction. The wall ACROSS THE ROOM was soaked, everything in the bathroom was soaked, and the floor started to accumulate water in seconds. Thus, we all had to take our showers in trickling water so as not to flood the room (there is mercifully a drain in the bathroom floor, but the amount of water pressure for a "normal" shower would have flooded out into the main room). Also, please note that the water was never warm. The rooms seemed reasonably clean otherwise, but the interior construction/finishing is cheap and really poorly done (flooring does not quite match up, windows may not quite close, etc.). The rooms are big -- some are HUGE -- but not cozy or interesting. Meanwhile, the dining area is fine for breakfast, but forget any other meal. The staff seemed surprised that someone might show up when it is not buffet time, despite various pleadings, we never got to see a menu, and the waiter tried to serve us leftovers from a buffet that had closed down some hours before. We left to eat elsewhere, of course. Also, we were given the password for the free wi-fi, but none of us managed to get connected with any of a variety of devices (which was tough since we were traveling on business and needed communications). In sum, seriously, go someplace else.

Five of us stayed 6 nights. Low season and barn like hotel empty but friendly but slow service. It has seen better days though. Lovely views of Mount Meru and good pool. Simple breakfast, limited but good dinner with large helpings. Excellent bar area. Large spacious and airy rooms, good a/c but reliable hot water would have been nice!

The manager and her crew are warm, helpful, and full of character. The rooms are large and a rather grubby. The manager of our meeting room was very polite and helpful. Service is inconsistent. The internet, when it worked, was either very good or rather slow.

I stayed at Naura springs hotel - a large glass building - trying to look sophisticated but just missing it. The rooms were massive and the staff cheated on every attempt. At breakfast you had to fight for food - with them - as instead of cooking omlets for the payings guests they were busy eating cereal and finishing the last of the milk. In my friend;s room when she went to pack - she found her shoes were hidden in an obscure location ( so she would not find them) -and the bar - well - during the week -they would come with a (hand written bill) and say you owed for 8 glasses of wine -when you had 2 - hoping you would not read. The same with peaunuts and more - the final blow was checking out - when someone had forged by bills and wrote 12 (the 2 was highlighted) instead of 10 and well some very old fashioned and blatent cheating we really do not expect anymore. I wont go into the grabbing the tea and the other issues!!!

The hotel looks nice from the outside but this is deceiving. The rooms are extremely large and a lot of wasted space. The rain came down and it all poured into my room. I was moved to another bigger room!! This room has a big hole in the outside window. ( sort of double glaze. There was a shortage of towels. No toiletries offered. The jacuzzi in my room was a big white elephant as it did not work. Water spouted out. As this was a conference the food was mass food , but the same everyday. Overall, not a hotel I will recommend

I stayed here for a week a workshop, my room was huge, clean and comfortable, except showers were tepid to cold. staff were exceptional and very helpful. breakfasts were good but lacked variation after a few days. WiFi was available but very slow and occasionally not available. meeting facility was good and lunch quite good.

I had a great time in this hotel, I stayed end of January 2016, I was given one of the nice and spacious room. The breakfast was nice, the room was also comfortable and very clean, nice Dinner service very charming staff.at some point my laptop had failure in connecting internet but the IT guy came to sort things right. Emmanuel was very helpful. Unless otherwise everyone was caring and potential to that business especially with the Manager Beatrice. Thank you guys. I will defenetly visit again.

Naura Springs is a huge and largely soulless hotel just outside Arusha. Having said this service was fine, the room was clean and huge with a fridge, TV, sofa and 2 double beds. The bathroom was also big and the shower was really good, lots of pressure and nice and hot. I only had the breakfast and its wasn't anything special but there was lots of it. The omelettes made to order as you watch were good. The hotel is clearly aiming for high end but failing in several areas. Wifi was provided but was a nightmare.

I was staying here for a conference in September. The rooms are large and my view of Mt. Meru was great. It was cleaned well every day. Once the safe did't open and we couldn't access our phones and money until the next day.
The hotel has a nice outdoor pool and a small gym but not much equipment in it. Breakfast was good but I would recommend eating lunch and dinner out.
The price was arranged through the conference and was quite reasonable. A real bummer was the weak wireless connection in our room.

As I was checking in i met this wonderful manager her name is Beatrice she was smiling at me, I could feel hospitality in here. from that moment everything went right. I stayed in this huge room very specious and well decorated. this hotel is of more Europen style from outside and more African outside.
