During my recent trip to Incheon, South Korea, I stayed at the Orakai Songdo Park Hotel while attending a conference. Given several accommodation options, my friend and I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the conference hall and its reasonable pricing compared to the other choices.

The room we stayed in was cozy and impeccably clean, offering a fantastic view that added to the overall comfort of our stay. The restaurant, located on the 19th floor, provided an amazing dining experience with breathtaking views of the nearby park, which is another beautiful attraction in the area. The restaurant offered a wide variety of food options, albeit a bit pricey, but the quality and selection made it worth it.

The hotel also boasts a sauna and a swimming pool, although guests need to pay extra to use these facilities, which is different from what you might find in many other countries where such amenities are often included. The check-in time is from 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM.

The location of Orakai Songdo Park Hotel is excellent. It is just a few minutes walk from Songdo Convensia, the convention center, and conveniently close to Incheon University Station. The beautiful Central Park is right across the road, and a Lotte shopping mall is also a short walk away, providing ample options for leisure and shopping. For currency exchange, the hotel offers this service, although the rates are slightly lower than those offered by nearby banks. The nearest bank I found was a short walk away at Oakwood Premier Incheon, next to Songdo Convensia.

The weather in Incheon during my visit in June was perfect—not too hot and not too cold—which made my stay even more enjoyable and my biggest regret is not extending my stay there by a few more days.

Overall, Orakai Songdo Park Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone traveling for work or leisure. The combination of comfortable rooms, excellent dining options, and a prime location makes it a great place to stay.

The hotel is well located. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is good.
The major problem in this hotel is the staff.

Almost nobody speaks English properly, Staff in the dining room is unfriedly, if you ask something in English, they just ignore you.

Between two meetings, I wanted to go to the swimming pool. Went there to enjoy the sun for 30 minutes. Immediately I got stalked by the staff shouting at me '4th floor, 4 th floor, 4thfloor'. Nobody told me what was going on, they did not want me to have some rest, kept on bothering me with their '4th floor'.
Finally I got upset, went to the 4th floor and apparently you have to register. The three(!) ladies (no english) asked me nothing, I said ok, here I am at the 4th floor. What's going on? The answer was 'Yes. 4th floor'. Ad i could go back. so they bothered me for 2à minutes for nothing.

This is just one example. If you run an international hotel in an international environment: hire staff that speaks English!

Check in was fast (the only good thing about this stay). After checking in we stopped by the hotel restaurant, Thirsty Monk. Maybe I’m old but I don’t like having to shout in order to have a conversation. We asked the wait staff to turn down the music and they did: about 1 decibel. Still much too loud. Food was overpriced but not bad.

The room itself was large enough for me and my wife. However the bed was very hard. Wifi was so slow and intermittent we had to tether to my phone to get online. The worst part was the room temperature. When I pay this much for a room I expect to be able to control the temperature. I would’ve been happy with 75 degrees but the heat was stuck at 82.5 and the air was as dry as a desert. When we complained to the front desk they sent someone up with a small fan but it was like throwing ice on a fire… ineffective. This made for a very poor night’s sleep.

We will not be staying at the Orakai again. In Songdo there are much better options that allow you to control the temperature of your room, like Central Park hotel just up the street from the Orakai.

We stayed at this hotel apartment complex from 4th - 7th April 2023 using 2 rooms numbers 1312 and 1304.
The hotel property description on Booking.com refers to an indoor pool, fitness centre and sauna facilities.
We attempted to use the hotel fitness centre but were informed by receptionists that access is only for guests who stay more than 7 days.
The receptionist then showed us a section called 'Important information' which said the Fitness centre and the sauna are closed till Dec 31st 2023!! He confirmed the Fitness centre opening times on Booking .com were incorrect but he still would not grant us access to the Fitness centre.
We requested details of the customer complaint forms but the hotel doesn't have any !! We requested the Manager contact details and were given this e-mail address and the name. We have written to the the manager but no response.

We consider the advertising misleading and guests think these facilities are available no matter how long they stay.

We complained about the lack of working air conditioning and were told it only goes on in the summer (when we arrived it was 29 degreesin the room!!)

On the plus side the rooms are very large, clean and well equipped.

As a long-stay guest (almost 2 weeks), I find the room cleaning system very difficult. We have to wait hours for them to come clean the room and we never know when they arrive. This means you won't be able to use your room properly even if you have to work in it. I hoped to be able to work at the desk in my room and enjoy some comfort during my stay. When questioned, it's clear they have no plan: "The room would be done before 4pm." I am very disappointed with this, it is not normal for a hotel of this category, and surely not for long-stay guests.

It’s a great business hotel and walking distance to the Convensia, the large and very spacious hi-tech convention center. I must commend Christine at the front desk for her excellent command of English which helped us big time when we were checking and also checking out plus all other requests. She’s such an asset to Orakai and they’re lucky to have her! Great customer service by Christine! 👏👏👏

It is my first time visiting South Korea with my Dad, and we were looking for a simple one-night stay in Incheon near the airport before heading south to Jeju Island. This hotel is located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood together with the big name western brand hotels, and it holds its own!

We stayed in the cheapest room available as it was only for one night, but still the room was impeccably clean and the amenities were plentiful. WiFi was decent and TV was huge. The bell staff on the first floor were very helpful as well, and they often doubled up as concierge staff so they have more than adequate knowledge of the surrounding area.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone who needs a short stay near the Incheon International Airport.

Flying from Brisbane to London with Korean Air having a 19 hr layover in Seoul had a 20 min bus transfer to the Songdo hotel from Incheon airport so there was a large group at check-in but the staff were great had everybody with room keys in under 10 mins.
Our room was on the 8th floor they are very clean and well furnished the beds are great the shower is awesome we also had a buffet dinner which is located on the 19th floor laid on by the Airline which though not a big selection was very tasty if you wished you could have paid 20000 krw each to upgrade to a larger menu.
We also had a buffet breakfast which again was great big selection of food.
On the 20th floor is a Gym and on the 3rd floor a male only sauna.
On the ground floor there is a bar called the Thirsty Monk which specialises in German beer and also serves food also there is a cafe bar next to it.
All in all had a great stay refreshed for the next flight to London Heathrow.

While meeting a friend who was on a lay-over in Incheon, we accidentally stumbled upon a real gem of a hotel. We were expecting to stay at the Grand Hyatt right at the airport, but Korean Air had booked many of the travelers in the Songdo Park, so off we went on the bus. The trip from Incheon International Airport to Incheon City's Songdo area took about 20 minutes. Songdo is a newly developed area of Incheon right at the water's edge. It is an immaculately planned community of modern high-rise real estate crisscrossed with beautiful wide boulevards. When we got there it was already dark and the night life bristled with an irresistible allure of colorful bright lights heralding an endless variety of restaurants, shops, and clubs. At the end of the boulevard and right across the street from Songdo's own Central Park, the beautifully styled "Songdo Park" Hotel stands tall and majestic against the night sky, easily recognizable by the elegant "Orakai" sign proudly crowning this luxurious establishment. Once inside the lobby there is a graceful marble styling leading you to the check-in counter where there are the most beautiful, most customer-oriented, English-capable young ladies standing by to speed you into your new home. There is a great restaurant and bar, beautiful rooms that are quite comfortable, and great views of the city scape and it's beautiful lights, and of course the location is primo! Directly across the street from the Hotel is "Central Park." On the opposite corner is a huge "Lotte Mart" department store. Just a few minutes walk back down the boulevard is all the night life and restaurants and shops you could ever hope for, including a large number of western-brands and foreign-themed, as well as Korean restaurants. You'll find all of this conveniently located in four centrally located plazas, Dream City and Millennium are on the main boulevard just down the street from the Hotel and right behind them are the Center Plaza and Iriom Plaza. You will feel right at home when you see the 7-Eleven convenience stores, Baskin Robins Ice Cream parlors, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks Coffee--I even saw a Papa John's Pizza and Quiznos Sub Shop while out walking around. One of the attractive young ladies at the Songdo Park's check-in counter was ready with a handy brochure detailing these entertainment plazas and the surrounding sites to include a very accurate and easy-to-follow map, where to find various kinds of stores, and there was even a complete subway guide inside the brochure showing all of the lines in the Seoul Metropolitan area. In fact, it is only a few minutes walk to the University of Incheon station making it very convenient to go anywhere in Seoul without the city traffic. Orakai's Songdo Park Hotel is close enough to the airport to meet all of your business or travel needs. The gateway to all of Metropolitan Seoul is just a few steps away via Subway. The Hotel's internet was more than adequate and there are meeting rooms to accommodate business needs, but perhaps the greatest thing about the Songdo Park Hotel is all of the things you can do to relax just outside the door. All of this plus affordable elegance and customer service that will blow your socks off. The next time I've got to stay near the Airport, I'll be going back to the Songdo Park. Sorry Grand Hyatt Incheon, but the Songdo Park Hotel is more convenient, more economical, and offers so much more to do because of its great location.

Hi, the hotel has an early check-in but you would have to prior inform the hotel about it. We had an institutional booking, so I would suggest you to check in for the costs attached to early check-in. Its easy on the access, and their processes are very swiftly handled. Have a great time.

The Hotel is serviced by the KAL Airport Limousine (light blue bus) and the cost is 7,000 Korean Won. There are several different routes so be sure you take bus number 6707B to Songdo. The bus runs on a regular schedule daily departing the airport on the first floor at exits 4B and 11A. It takes about 30 minutes or so depending on the local traffic in Songdo. The first bus departs the Hotel at 4:54, then 5:14, 5:34, 6:14...etc., with the last bus at 19:36. There is a KAL web page, but Trip Advisor would not allow me to include it in this narrative. You can call the Hotel direct for more specific information at 032-210-7000 (from inside Korea) or +82-32-210-7000 (from overseas).

What, if any, is the charge for the airport shuttle bus service?
Answer from Captclam
97 contributions12 helpful votes
Yes. This service is provided by KAL Limo (large bus). The bus number is 6707B. Purchase a ticket inside the terminal or outside at the many ticket booths by all of the bus stops. As I remember the 6707B stops at bus stop 11 and 4 outside the terminal. Just ask the ticket agent. It is indeed 7,000 won.

Hi. We stayed there overnight on a Korean air stop over. It's a long way from the airport and Seoul. I can't remember a tour desk however the staff were offering advice to guests. Might I suggest you send an email to the hotel to confirm. I hope this helps.
