This private villas has only 7 villas (please correct me if I am wrong). Located in a remote area in Ubud and surrounded by the nature. All of the villas are built in very a private space. We can’t even see other guests from our rooms. These villas are suitable for people whom are looking for privacy in a very secluded area. The reception area is on the top floor. Guests have to step down many stairs as all the rooms are descending the valley. There is no lift to access all the rooms down there. First night we arrived there, we stayed in a 1 bedroom villa with private pool. Originally we planned to stay only one night there. However, it was such an amazing ambience. Very quiet and very natural. A little bit sad that the view was a little blocked by some trees from our room. So we requested to move to another room and ended up that we extended another 3 nights for our stay there. Thank you to Mba Dewi who assisted us for moving the room on the next day. Since we went there during the pandemic, the hotel wasn’t fully booked. On the second day we moved to a 2 bedroom villas with private pool, and we were assigned to the top floor bedroom in this 2 bedroom villas. It was such an amazing experience. The spacious living room with some basic kitchen utilities (stove, microwave, eating utensils and water dispenser) and big dining table were welcomed us as we entered through the door. It was an open space facing the valley with very nicely fresh air. Not to forget to mention a little pond in front of the main entrance with some lotus flowers on it. We just loved the sound of the nature such as crickets, frogs etc. It was a raining season, so basically most of the time Ubud was raining all the time. Quiet a bummer for me as I am not a raining person :(. However, the good thing is, this raining would add up more essence into the nature to seem more mystical with a little bit of mist that we can enjoy from the living room. Overall, there was nothing I can complaint about this villas. The room is very clean. Breakfasts were served in our rooms based on the time we requested. The bathroom has massive space with open air in some areas. So you can do “private business” while facing the valley. The swimming pool is facing an extraordinary view as well. No need to worry about the belongings as there were always butlers whom could help us with them. So guests can just concentrate on the many steps that could be slippery on the rainy days. Since this is an open air villa with natural surrounded, the staffs always lit up the mosquitoes sticks in the evening to reduce any mosquitoes or bugs at night. Only the parking space is a bit too small since we were driving to Ubud and had to park our car during our stay. But overall, we had an amazing stay at Bidadari. Thank you to Mba Dewi and all the staffs who are very friendly and attentive to us. Keep a great work and hope to see you in our next visit!!!

We absolutely loved staying at Bidadari. We reserved the Luxurious Honeymoon villa. Most of the villas are built on a hillside. The reception area is at the top, and there is a long set of stairs descending to the villas. The Luxurious Honeymoon villa is one of the ones located close to the top, so might be a good choice if you are older or have mobility problems. Most of the villas seem to have a large wall surrounding them on several sides designed for privacy. They work so well that, even though we were told every villa was occupied while we were there, we never saw another guest. There is no real "common area" of the resort so everything is handled in your villa. All meals are served within your villa or out by your private pool. The food was outstanding! There is a spiral staircase leading to the upper level of the villa. The upstairs contains a kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, etc. There is also a water dispenser that has hot and cold water, which was nice if you just wanted a single cup of coffee. There was also a couch with large TV upstairs, as well as a dining table and day bed. The walls were open so we could enjoy the awesome view of the valley. The lower level had the bedroom with another TV, bathroom, and outdoor shower. Actually, the toilet is pretty much outdoors, too. There is a large fishpond with goldfish in it right in front of the toilet. The bathroom wraps around, starting indoors with the sink, then moves to the indoor shower, outdoor shower and tub, then the fishpond. When we arrived, the staff had filled the tub and then covered the surface with flower petals in the shape of a heart. This was just one of the many little things the staff did to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The wi-fi was kind of slow, but usable. They provided transport in to Ubud each day, and they also provided us with a mobile phone we could use to call the resort to send someone to pick us up. We used the laundry service provided by teh resort and it was very reasonable (pants 24375 IDR Shirt 16250 IDR Shorts 14625 IDR). We took a day tour which was organized by the hotel. Their driver, Surya, was fantastic. Very personable and offered a lot of information about the things we saw. He spoke perfect English. The rest of the staff were fantastic, too. They went out of their way to provide us with anything we asked for. The manager, Mr. Rana Diana, made sure to greet us personally and checked with us to make sure everything was going well. We couldn't have asked for a better start to our Bali vacation. We wished we had stayed at Bidadari longer. When we go back to Bali, this will be where we stay.

The Bidadari is situated in a remote area in Ubud which we both love, the seclusion, no car or foot traffic at all made a lot of difference. Hardly seen any other guests except at the reception area when guests come in and we're on our way to town or going on a tour. I have booked a Deluxe Villa for my husband and I for his 66th birthday, not knowing that the bedroom and bathroom were not on the same floor. You have to get on the steps to get to the bedroom and likewise going to the bathroom. It was an issue with my husband due to his walking problem. Right after we checked in, I called the front desk and asked if there is another that we can move that the whole place is one level no upstairs to deal with. She told me that she is going to bring it to the attention of the manager and she will call me back. In about a few minutes Mr. Rana the manager knocked at our door. He was concerned about the walking issue with my husband. I told him that the stairs to the bedroom and bathroom is a big problem for him. He asked me if we could spend the night at this villa and the next day he will move us to a one level room. The room that he was moving us was occupied that night. I told him we can spend the night here no problem. The next day I got a call from the front desk and told me to get all my stuffs ready as the butlers are coming to move us to another villa. Boy..we were both surprised that Mr. Rana moved us to the Executive Villa everything was in one level. The villa that he moved us to, was out of this world. The decor was a combination of Balinese and modern. The living room was massive and the view of the valley was just beyond belief. The villa has all the amenities of a 5 star hotels. The bathrooms were very clean, the bed and pillows are very comfortable. It has an open living and dining room. We stayed at this Villa for 3 nights and have our breakfasts and dinners overlooking this beautiful valley. The staffs are very attentive helpful and friendly. The serviced the room in the morning and in the evening only if we want to. They were always smiling and asking us how we like our stay. We never have any water issues in our villa. The manager Mr. Rana came to our Villa just to checked on us how we liked the room that he moved us to. We were very appreciative of the upgrade he did for us. That made our stay a wonderful and most memorable one. We have a private huge swimming pool, that I loved to take a dip in the morning and in the evening. The villa was just to ourselves. We just loved to lounge around the pool if we're not going on a tour. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room on time as I have stated on the form. The butlers would set up our meal at the dining table every morning facing the valley. We sure have a wonderful stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. But no worry we are coming back again next year for my husband's birthday. We will be staying longer this time and I am bringing my family to join us. I have been raving to them about this place and we want them to experience it too. There is a shuttle service to downtown and they give you a phone whenever you're ready to come home, call the driver and will come and take you back to Bidadari. For my husband's birthday the chef made him a cake and the staffs came in to our villa and sung " Happy Birthday to him" He got a kick out of it.Their attention to details and their kindness it just melted our hearts. We ordered a Balinese dinner with Suckling pig and it was truly delicious and huge portion. My husband sure have a wonderful time on his birthday, so we are on the process of booking it for his next birthday. The hospitality of all the staffs are just amazing. This is the best vacation we ever have. We travel around the world all the time, glad we decided to come to Ubud and stay at the Bidadari. Shout out to the Manager Mr. Rana, Ms Darte very polite receptionist, our butlers Darma, who speak tag alog, Darmica, Diwa and Jana the car driver who took us on a tour. Our deepest thank you for the wonderful time we have at your resort, the undivided attention you gave to us, thank you to each and everyone of you who made our stay an unforgettable one. Mr Rana, the send off you did while we were leaving, that made a big mark on our hearts. You guys are the best ever! To the staffs, continue what you're doing, little things you do, make a big difference to us.Can't wait to come back again.

Let me start by stating that I have not even stayed here, but I still would like to rate Bidadari with 1000 stars on a 5 star scale. My fiancé and I were supposed to stay here in March 2020 our honeymoon. Unfortunately we live in the US epicenter of the Covid-19 outbreak and 5 days before our wedding we were forced by our state to cancel our wedding and asked to not leave the country. We reached out to Bidadari in hopes that we could move our reservation 1 year so that we could enjoy our honeymoon after we are married next year. Dewi and Koming were both incredibly helpful and kind during this stressful time. They allowed us to reschedule our stay with them and we are incredibly grateful. For their kindness and wonderful customer service, I plan to recommend this hotel to everyone I hear going to Bali. I do not ever write reviews, but it is this type of kindness and understanding that the world needs. I am so looking forward to spending our dream honeymoon with them next year.
