Absolutely disgusting, first of all we couldn't find it, no signs and no Indonesian number to call. When we did find it we were met by a man with bare feet who led us through a junk filled garage into an even more junk and paper filled room (apparently this was reception) on the outside it looks bali authentic but inside smelled of damp and mould, you have stained couches, paint peeling off the walls, old bedding, 1 (old)pillow per person no blanket or top sheet just a throw rug which was so itchy.. we covered the bed in our own clothes and even though we had booked two rooms we all huddled together in the 1 bed because go figure NONE of the doors locked properly! I wasn't particularly fond of sharing a room with lizards and bugs either nor trying to sleep covered in insect repellent. We were told we would have our own kitchen/ fridge etc as you would expect of a villa at $120pn but this turned out to be communal filthy and had random old food in it. On further inspection behind the kitchen was full of rubbish, junk and a crevice which looked to be old cleaning stuff kept with breakfast cereal which was fed to us as the included breakfast along with stale bread from the communal kitchen and some egg. We didn't touch it. I tried to have a shower but after a few minutes the water ran out, I was unable to flush the toilet it was then I realised that the bin had not been changed, had tissues, hair and leftover soap in bathroom. Fuming I set out to find someone but apparently that so called manager was unavailable. We booked two nights and payed up front but after 18 hours packed our things, informed a sweaty barefoot man in a singlet that we were leaving and how disgraceful they were.. who intern offered no explanation or any offer of compensation ( not that we were expecting anything) and found a better place to stay. A horrible experience

This is a small hotel in Sanur within 15 min walk to the beach. It is very comfortable with a pool and a very private courtyard. The only disadvantage is that you can have others staying at the same time if you only book one of the two rooms. The hotel is close to restaurants and road side bars. A great stay and will stay again when next in Sanur Bali.

Its a small hotel located in sanur not far away from the beach. Staff was nice and rooms were clean. Its in the end of the street so there is no traffic and really quiet at night. Nicest place that we stayed during our Lombok-Bali trip.

We stayed for 20 nights at Sunrise. We had an amazing time. We had a very nice room, with a lot of space and a nice outside shower and an inside bath. Every morning they make you a really good breakfast and the service was excellent. We booked several trips with the hotel, they provided us with a driver who brought us everywere and could tell us a lot about the different places. The prices are really good as well! We could bring our laundry to them, ask them for tips and they even helped us planning our trip to the gili islands. The staff is very nice and really helpful. If we go back to Sanur, we are definitely going back to Sunrise!

The owners are extremely friendly, and helpful. They provide you their whatsapp number so any questions you have you can ask immediately, alternatively someone can always be found in the office. The room was spotless and spacious, very comfortable beds! Breakfast is provided in the morning and the kitchen facilities are great to make your own lunch/dinner. The pool is small but nice. Quiet and idyllic getaway after a few days in the busy, tourist centre of Kuta. Just perfect!
