Sanur Resort Watujimbar is celebrated for its value, offering a range of amenities at reasonable prices. The resort buzzes with a lively atmosphere, including a large pool and theme nights, though some guests feel the rooms could use a refresh. Service is a standout, with staff earning accolades for their friendliness and attentiveness, despite occasional hiccups.
The rooms are a mixed bag; they're generally spacious and clean but may show signs of wear. The amenities, such as the pool and breakfast variety, are appreciated, and the location is lauded for its convenience to the beach and local attractions, although some upkeep in the pool area could enhance the experience.

This is a fantastic hotel for the price. The rooms are very clean with a lovely large spa and they have even introduced water jugs which you can refill as often as you want. The breakfast is really world class With the Bircher muesli and marinated fruit simply divine. Thoroughly recommend this hotel the location is brilliant with many many restaurants just outside all reasonably priced. Also the spa in the rooms is huge and just lovely to sit in at the end of a busy tourist day.. it’s cleverly designed to be private as well :)

Hubby and I stayed here for 6 nights. This hotel is 3 stars at best. It wasn't horrible but we will stay elsewhere next time. We had a plunge pool room. The room was very neat, clean and tidy. The plunge pool was nice but some tiles and the wall were covered in black mould, so much that we could smell it. Our plunge pool was next to the main walkway so no privacy whatsoever, everyone who walked past had a look, including the 50 guests from a private event held at the hotel. The main pool was also covered in black mould around the waterfalls and edges. We feel that this hotel is not well maintained and is really showing it's age. The decking around the main pool is rotting away and loose in multiple places. It is also very slippery, in fact there are many high polished tiled areas that get very slippery. The bathrooms are a poor design with no room to sit on the toilet properly. Breakfast was good but it was very hot in the restaurant and it allows smoking. The hotel is extremely noisy, echoing corridors, we were woken up very early every morning. We could hear everything and I mean everything in the room next to ours as it has a shared internal door that is not sealed properly - they must have previously been adjoining rooms. Sunloungers around the pool were broken and very scarce. Guests would reserve with a towel and go off and leave it for hours. Staff did not put a stop to this. Our main issue with this hotel was the smoking policy. It says there's a designated smoking area. This wasn't the case. Guests would grab an ashtray and smoke anywhere and everywhere, even in the restaurant. At times we were unable to use our plunge pool as people were smoking outside their rooms and on the sunloungers in front of our pool. We found matches and cigarette butts in our pool from the rooms above us. My husband suffers from asthma and had a hard time dealing with the smoke. The staff at this hotel were absolutely lovely.

Family friendly but also good for couple/solo travellers. It is a little tired, but I paid $AUD81 per night including breakfast, and that's great value for money considering other nearby options. Two large pools converge as one, but well separated. The pool swim up bar is located near the restaurant, and services dayside pool lounging well.
Breakfast is well optioned, including cereal, toast, pasteries, freshly cooked eggs/bacon/french toast/pancakes. Also fresh fruit, juice (more like cordial), coffee and cold meats are available.
Located a 5 min. walk from the beach and boardwalk. Plenty of restaurants/cafes/bars nearby, ATM's and laundry. You name it, it has it. So glad I stayed here, wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We were very impressed when we arrived. Gorgeous lobby and a nice looking pool access room. The best thing about this resort is the pool and breakfast. But it ends there......every night we were woken constantly, there is a gap between the room door letting all the noise and light in. Could here people walking past all night, the hallways echoed, the walls were paper thin, could even hear the neighbours doing the dirty if you get my drift!
Also, the ‘welcome drink’ we were expecting a cocktail or Bintang as it was to be collected at the pool bar, but it was just watery cordial!
In the bathroom, the shower water went straight into the toilet cubicle, not very safe as it created very slippery tiles.
There were stains on the sheets and on our 3rd night we woke up at 3am to what sounded like a jet engine in our room. Who knows what it was, but we got moved to another room till it was fixed. Not even an apology or free cocktail or drink the next day. It’s such a shame as the hotel appears to be very nice. But we would never stay here again, so many nicer places to stay for the same price.

Swiss Belle was fantastic!! We booked through Agoda & got a great deal...7 nights for two adults, 1 child including breakfast at $560 AUD...deluxe room with pool view.
The hotel is huge, the whole gut of the place is the pool, with a few different areas to swim. Huge swim up bar, great breakfast, massive rooms with good sized balconies. Located 5 minute walk to the beach & plenty of restaurants around the hotel as well.
Staff fantastic & super friendly. Could not fault the place.
Sanur itself is peaceful, private & quiet. Sanur beach has plenty of eateries as well with water sports available for some fun if you want.
Would certainly stay again ☀️

A very central hotel in Sanur easy walk to most places including the beach. They now have a reserved area on the beach. Breakfast is a buffet with everything you need including a great omlette and pancake bar. We had a deluxe pool access room so a little bigger nice bathroom and private pool off your balcony but only 2 min to main pool and deck chairs etc. Gym was adequate but small. There wer 6 of us in 3 pool access rooms our adult kids and partners and grandchild all loved it. They airport pickup was missed due to airport closed for 6 hours due to a hacker so they gave us a transfer to UBUD instead which was very accomodating thank you so much guys.

Many people would go to this hotel and say that it’s tired, and probably was spectacular 20 years ago in its heyday, or that they will have to re-face the mirrors In the bathrooms, or at some Time in the near future resurface the wooden pool back. But that is just cosmetic, and not every hotel can be the newest one on the block every single day.
I just came out of what are the cutest little guest House in Ubud, so driving through crazy traffic from there to Sanur only 20 miles away,It was a very welcome feeling To enter this hotel courtyard and drive all the way up to the main lobby. Once your mouth before stairs to the main concourse level for checkin,You can see the beautiful environment where you will be spending your time. The property is very deep and only four floors high, and this surrounds an expanse of pools and waterfalls as far as you can see to the end of the property which encompasses the dining area.
Breakfast included, and the menu is variable for the seven days I was there.
Ours are quite bright, and ours had a huge Jacuzzi on the balcony which we never thought a reason to use with the pools so beautiful. We really appreciate it the LED lamps on either side of the bed as many hotels we have been to not have proper lighting. Plenty of outlets throughout the room to charge your phones and cameras. We were situated on the left wing of the building facing front to back on the outside rooms not facing the pool, so our view was just a blank wall. However we did not spend much time in our room other than sleeping
It appears that during construction there was a miscalculation in terms of the depth of the shower and toilet stall and we could see in our room how an extra 4 inches was added as well as the door being rehinged four inches further out. This was also almost sufficient. The shower pressure is very strong but because of how it was mounted, water always seem to escape the shower stall and keep the bathroom floor wet.
We did not go to the beach during the day as we found it too hot and not particularly conducive to huggy out there, although we did go there a couple of dates for beach dining. Access to the beach is directly across the road to a large and what appears to be vacant exclusive property. We are not sure what his hotel was not built on the beach.
The staff was always pleasant and always bow towards you as you left the premises walking out of the long courtyard to get to the Main Street. This main street is absolute bedlam, and everybody you pass will ask you if you want to taxi even as you just said no to the guy beside him.Tons of restaurants around and for any budget

We stayed at this hotel for 12 days and overall had a great time.
The great points about this hotel:
Food: Their breakfast, the poolbar and their theme evenings are all incredible. The breakfast has your standard items and then a live cooking section where they bake eggs according to your preference, pancakes and french toast. It all tastes really good. The menu from the pool bar (which you can order during lunch and dinner) is really large, so you have lots of options. And their theme evenings are ah-mazing! I would really recommend going to the theme-nights if you are able to.
Service: The people that work at the hotel are all really friendly and helpful. If you have any questions or special requests, you can just ask and they will help you out any way they can.
Location: The hotel has a fantastic location in the middle of Sanur. It is right next to the busiest street of Sanur (do not worry, there is a driveway, so you will not be disturbed by the noise), which is great because you can just walk to a restaurant, supermarket, boutique or spa. There are lots of options, and there is a sidewalk on both sides of the road, so you can walk safely. It is also located fairly close to the airport, so that is a great bonus.
Room for improvement:
Wifi: The wifi in the hotel was really unstable and overall not so great. It was better when we were around the pool area, but in the rooms we could not do anything on the wifi at all. We told the people at the front desk and they gave us a wifi amplifier, but it still was not that great.
Room: The rooms overall are fine, but a little outdated and we found some stains on the sleeping couch and some damage in the shower. There was a hot tub outside, but it looked really dirty, so we did not use it. The airconditioning was also not working that great, it stayed pretty hot during our entire stay. But for that price, everything was pretty okay.
Pool: The pool itself was really nice, with two separate pools and lots of room to swim. They had a towel service, where you could pick up fresh towels everyday. The problem however was, that there were not enough sunbeds, not even close. And unfortunately a lot of people went to breakfast, put their towels on sunbeds and then left. The sunbeds themselves were sometimes great, since some of them had cushions, but some were curved really weird, so that you can not put a cushion on it and were then quite hard.

The staff are all lovely and try to please. The hotel is old and some rooms need renovating, our room was clean with comfortable beds and hot water.
Cons.
Full paying
guests who might object to any extra noise creating a crowded pool, minus vacant shaded poolside lounges, should be aware that this hotel also sells a very cheap day pass to their pool for the general public and kids swimming lessons.
Who all arrive early and stay til late especially during the weekends. Then later use a shower thats actually located inside the pool water area with shampoo & soap?
