All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely, though in need of a refresh - e.g. the natural stone in the bathrooms needed cleaning and resealing, some bathroom fittings were in need of replacement, the bed linens were rather yellow and required replacement, the sliding door out of one room was rather worn and one morning it took my husband and I nearly 15 mins to encourage the lock to open and let ourselves our. My husband was all for scaling the outside shower wall to get help! We had requested a beach hotel for our last 3 days in Bali and our travel agent recommended this hotel. Unfortunately this is not a beach hotel - it is a good 15 mins walk to the beach. There is no transportation provided by the hotel and no facilities provided on the beach (sun beds or towels) - some other hotels set back from the beach did provide these. The pool area is the only common area - but the pool is also in need of refresh and the chemicals used to treat the water turned one of our bikinis green! So this hotel was not for us - but it’s location was probably the biggest issue for us - the fact it was so far from the beach.…

Cannot fault in any way everything was exceptional. They thought of everything and more.The reception staff were very helpful, the butler service was amazing very friendly they kept our villa very clean the private pool and garden were checked and cleaned every day they also respected your privacy. The spa was beautiful and serene and the girls were very knowledgable.The main pool area was also well kept and staff were excellent. Although the resort Sanur was very busy with plenty of restuarants and bars as soon as you walked down the entrance you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere very quiet and serene

We were persuaded to go to Pavillions by a very enthusiastic rep at Sovereign Holidays who had stayed there before and promised us that it was exactly what we wanted. Sadly our 5 days staying there was the only disappointing part of our holiday - we can see that we are in the minority and that also many British travel agents have a "Highly Recommended" stamp across their listings. I must say before I point out why it did not work for us that the people were lovely and it was not a bad place to stay - but it was also not the right place for our family for the following reasons: - We were told by Sovereign that it had access to a beach - this was not true. The beach is a good 20 min walk and then much further if you want to find a bed to rent (the beach was extremely busy). I feel that the photo on the Pavillion's website that shows the beach and some sun beds with white umbrellas is also extremely misleading. In our 5 days, we did not once manage to use the shuttle service to the beach as it was never available - apparently, you needed to book it the day before. - The rooms (we hired two garden villas) were spacious but very dark and felt very claustrophobic due to the lack of visible sky. - We did not like the area - the road leading out of the Pavillions was full of noisy bars with tribute acts playing every night. Conversely, the Pavillions Restaurant was painfully quiet (we could not bring ourselves to sit in such a quiet place although we heard the food was okay). - The in-room dining did not work for us - having to decide when we were going to get up and also what we wanted to eat the night before really was not something we enjoyed. It also made the place feel very insular and further confined us to our dark rooms and courtyards. I know that many people love this place and understand that everyone has different needs for their holidays - but for us, it did not work. …

Our villa was amazing— private patio with koi pond and outdoor garden shower. Lots of windows let in natural light, but also very private. Roomy inside. Service was impeccable, including in-villa breakfast.

This is one of the nicest and friendliest boutique hotels that we have ever stayed in. My husband and i stayed for a week inAugust 2023 in preparation for our daughter’s wedding on the other side of the island. It was our third visit to Bali Pavilions and it did not disappoint. The service is absolutely impeccable - from the room staff to the staff in reception, kitchen, cleaners and spa ladies. The food was gorgeous and we even had a private Balinese cookery lesson with the hotels executive chef. Don’t even get me started on the spa treatments. Yes you can get them cheaper outside but the spa staff are far superior and the spa itself is spotless and tranquil. I cant recommend the hotel more highly. It is a special place, staffed with very special people. Were going back again in the New Year but will extend ourr stay to 3 weeks of pure luxury. We stayed in a pool villa but the large and very beautiful communal pool is as far away from a ‘corporate’ hotel aa you could get.…

Location brilliant. So close the main part of Sanur, yet quiet & peacefull once back in your private villa. Inhouse food had excellent quality, presentation & quantity. Any changes or additions were handled very well by the chefs & staff alike. All the staff were exceptional.
