Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We visited the resort for 4 days recently. It was our first experience with this property, we were given warm welcome by Mrs Jyoti Borad and Mr Sunil Sahariya from the front desk. We had requested for an early check-in and within 10:15 minutes we were allotted the room. The room is quiet spacious with attached balcony with dining table for 2. Also the room is well equipped with mini fridge, tea coffee maker and to highlight specially smart TV with Wi-Fi connection in the same room itself. We were also given a small tour around the resort by Mr Ravindra who informed us that resort has around 70+ rooms, one banquet hall with ac and an open ground to facilitate multipurpose functions. It also has separate swimming pool for adults and kids along with water rides/slides (functional only from Friday to Sunday). Mrs Jyoti guided us for tourist places around the resort and made sure we had a good time. The breakfast was good but had limited Jain options. Mr Devi Prasad took special care and make sure all the food served to us was Jain. It was our anniversary and we requested Mr Sunil if any special arrangements was possible (at additional charges). He took personal interest and to our surprise the whole room was decorated with balloons and a cake in just 4 to 5 hours. Overall we had an amazing experience staying at resort which we will cherish for a life and looking forward to visit this resort again and again. We would like to thank Mr. Sunil Sahariya, Mrs Jyoti Borad, Mr Devi Prasad and Mr. Ravindra from bottom of our heart for taking special care and assistance. Also we would like to thank whole staff of the resort for making our holiday a memorable one.

We stayed in the suite room, well designed and the room was very spacious, excellent service, best place for kids as they enjoyed the water park , and the other coin games. All the rooms have balconies with chairs and tables We contacted Jasmel Brar from the reservation who was courteous and very polite. Ample of parking space, best for a relaxing and a quite vacation. Must say the property is huge. The staff is very polite.

DGV Resort charges like a luxury resort, but it falls short in delivering a premium experience. The property is large, with an old and vintage feel, but it lacks the modern amenities you'd expect for the price. The food served is average, with limited varieties offered during each meal—whether it’s breakfast, lunch, high-tea, or dinner.
This resort is not suitable for leisure or fun, as there’s no dedicated area for activities or relaxation. The swimming pool is big, but it’s in dire need of cleaning—there's noticeable algae buildup on the pool walls, which makes it unappealing. The water adventure park, which could be a highlight, is only open for a brief 60-90 minutes a day, and even then, it's accessible to all guests simultaneously, limiting your ability to enjoy it.
One of the biggest disappointments is the lack of freedom to enjoy yourself. Music is not allowed after 10 PM due to local government restrictions, which puts a damper on any evening activities. Despite the vast size of the resort, there isn't adequate seating arranged for groups of up to 30 people, making it difficult to have fun or play games with your family or colleagues.
The rooms are also subpar. Many basic amenities are missing—there's no menu available, no DTH connection recharged, and even the electric plugs are non-functional. The remotes for the TV and AC had no charged batteries, which added to the frustration. Overall, DGV Resort promises luxury but fails to deliver on nearly every front.

Very bad experience with the hotel staff . The manager does not know how to talk to guest . They charge for ice bucket, toothpaste and any other small things which they are supposed to be giving it as complimentary. Overall experience is bad. The room service is also very slow and there is always no staff whenever we had some requests or orders .

Wonderful peaceful place for business and family stay. Covid protocol followed as instructed
Experienced well trained professional staff. Food is also great and fresh daily. Nice decent breakfast with an option of 3 cuisines.
This is a getaway so thrill seekers won't find much. Ideal for families and business stays.
A lot can be done to add on to the place after the govt infra works are completed.
I enjoyed the morning view of the room balcony view of nature and bird sounds.
Recommend you take the upper rooms to get a view of the natural canopy of greenery.
Round the clock security and great housekeeping

Very courteous staff, very nice food. Sunil Sahariya, front office manager is very helpful and readily available to solve issues. Nice place for a weekend getaway. The resort is next to Damanganga river where one can enjoy an evening walk.

Staff memebers are so polite and disciplined. Service is very good. Food quality is good, specially we enjoyed Dal Makhni is mouth watering. Mire over bill amount is reasonable. As for as hospitality is concerned DGV resort is one of the top in Silvassa.

There was no room service at all including they were not ready to send beer in room. For towels had to wait for 50 mins in morning to take bath. Rooms are shabby and bathroom was badly maintained..... List goes on.
There are more places to choose from in the Silvassa area.
