What an amazing quaint hotel in the center of town! Jorge, the manager, is incredibly friendly and speaks both English and Spanish. The hotel surprised us with our room decorated for our honeymoon with local flowers and chocolates! Also, each room has a personal bottle of clean water by the sinks for brushing teeth (changed daily) and a huge water jug in the lobby to refill your personal water bottles. Minutes away from the Darwin museum and ALL shops, restaurants, and the harbor. The breakfast included was delicious! Jorge and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was incredible! Definitely recommend this hotel!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Great location close to all of the many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The courtyard arrangement means rooms look in on a lovely pool and patio area with paths and bridge to the different rooms and floors. Small reception is just enough. Room was clean and smart. Simple but with modern bathroom and good rain shower. Good storage and safe. Air con system very good plus ceiling fan. Comfy bed and a good sleep. A cockerel next door would do its morning “cock a doodle doo” though from around 5 which wasn’t always amusing but my ear plugs helped. No tv in room but not fussed. Breakfast room just off reception was smart and continental selection was enough to give you a good start. Staff helpful and friendly. Place has lots of character. Excellent.

This is the worst place we’ve ever stayed. Exoticca placed us here as a “Superior” resort we paid EXTRA money for. Complete joke! No hot water in the sink or shower. Brown toilet water. Room smelled like a sewer. Then before we demanded Exoticca to move us to a livable hotel, there was NO water at all. Dirty!! Bathrooms and floors need total scrub down. Totally out dated. They give you a pitcher of water in the bathroom to brush your teeth with. Ours had black things floating in it. Nasty! WiFi wont work in rooms at all. Don’t waste your money with this place or Exoticca travel- you will regret both!! FYI- Exoticca made us stay in this hell hole for two of the four days. Only moving us on day 3. Be wise people- never use this hotel or Exoticca.

I do not understand who and how has decided to give 4* to this hotel. It is situated centrally, the staff is doing all the possible to improve the state of things, but nevertheless the room was outdated, we had no warm water in the morning, WiFi did not work, the safe was broken, bedding was auwful.

Booked 3 prepaid nights for Easter 2020, had to cancel due to pandemic and suggested rebooking for next year, they agreed, was unable to book for Easter 2021 and pushed out into later in the year on flights, contacted them, no response to email. Then the website disappeared and now they won't answer the phone, my nearly $1,000 booking is starting in 4 days, no way of contact them and our family face a fine of €7,500 ($9,000) if we leave Ireland to get on a plane. We'd have been happy to pay an admin charge for the dates to change We have been trying to contact them for 6 months. Putting this review up is the last shot we have at contacting them, happy to delete it if they make contact, as 1 star reviews are not typically acceptable, but no contact availability is not acceptable.

In these times it is a bit difficult to objectively review: Firstly ii is very central so you can walk to the Darwin Centre or Fish market/ shops in a few minutes. The staff are very helpful- and made sure we got to the airport on our final day. For that we are very grateful. But the hotel is quite basic- there is no tv or wifi in the rooms. The wifi in the bar area is very weak indeed. The rooms are quite large and some have been updated more than others. it needs more money put into the place to bring it up to standard- I feel sorry for the staff who were coping well under the circumstances Our 'deal' came with an evening meal which was well prepared-- but there was no choice. The choices at breakfast were pretty limited too

We stayed at this little gem of a hotel for a couple of nights! The hotel is in a great location and has clean compact rooms arranged around a small, but refreshing pool! Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly! Would definitely stay here again! While staying were had the bonus of a Galapagos Lava Heron joining us by the pool, eating a Lava Lizard and then taking a bath in the pool! See Pics!

Comfortable roadfrint cafe area perfect for a coffee stop. Cortado coffee and black tea with milk served hot. WiFi could be faster as very slow but made up for with friendly service and relaxing background lounge music.
