My room was horrible. It was the worst I have ever seen. The receptionist was rude, and the manager was disregarding looking at the pictures, almost as if he already knew that the room was disgusting. Spiderwebs over the headboard. All types of stuff in the ceiling mirror falling halfway off rust everywhere. Just disgusting. It was not clean The customer service at that hotel sucks however, they did switch me to another room, which was OK no view.. the view I had was of a dumpster. The experience was horrible. I have been to this particular hotel several times. This was the first time I ever seen a room this bad. SMH

Stayed in the Dennison Tower overlooking The Yard which is a restaurant/ night clubroom. During the winter the music is Friday and Saturday and summer is ever night which starts at 9PM and ends at 1AM is extremely load and your room shakes. They DO NOT TELL you this when you check in, apparently they give you noise ear plugs if you have an ocean view which makes no sense since most of the room are right over the nightclub which is a solarium. The staff acts like they are NOT AWARE of this issue and told us next time we stay there ask to be in another tower. It was our first time there and would not stay there again, also the pool is for 21 an over which is not mentioned very clearly on there website. On another note our rooms cleanliness was poor and we had a cot brought in which had not support the mattress was very worn and the bottom sheet was torn, had no top sheet only blanket and no pillow. Traveled with family they had the same experience.

Dennis Tower was terrible! Not even worth getting comped! It is old and shabby looking. Smelled of smoke even though it was non-smoking. The Bally’s Twin River Casino in RI is a palace compared to this sub-par casino. The Casino area was very small. Older slots and only a few table games. If I stay in Atlantic City again it will not be at Ballys! I had dinner in Caesar’s and was so surprised how much nicer and cleaner looking. Bally’s only has two restaurants and one was closed.

Front desk has a big opportunity to be better. We arrived at 7 pm at night and couldn’t do express check in because rooms weren’t ready. Waited in line for 30 minutes to finally get checked in. Staff did not look welcoming at all. If anything they looked miserable. Booked a stay and play package none of that was discussed at check in. Came back from dinner and asked the overnight staff at the desk about the package and they claim they know nothing of how to be registered for that. Overall the staff just wasn’t knowledgeable. We booked a king room in the Dennis tower. Rooms had an off smell with slight smoke smell lingering. Room layout was really weird but overall clean. Rooms need a remodel and added light.

not bad experience. i was in town for a conference and overall good experience. positives- room was clean and comfortable. the staff was friendly enough. good lighting in the rooms, beds were comfortable, and everything worked. negatives-the hotel lobby and walkway areas stunk, literally, weed smell and also homeless lounging out. could understand on a cold day but it was 50 degrees outside. anyway, those were the positives and negatives.

Bally’s (11/17/23) – Historical Dust and Rust Awaits This was my first time back since 2018 because my experience was not good. Since I was offered a complimentary room, I thought I would give it another try. I have never been a big fan of this casino which is no longer associated with Caesars. The day I checked in it was a virtual ghost town in the casino. I was surprised to see that Harry’s Bar has been replaced. There were also sections of the casino where new machines were being installed. Smoking is limited to a very small area. What I Liked: - Our room had a view of the boardwalk and ocean - The shampoo / soap amenities were excellent What I Did Not Like: - They do not guarantee a king bed until you check in - The comp room was for a Dennis Ocean Double - The wait time to check in was too long. There were only four clerks at 4:00pm and they take the priority line first so just when you think the line will move, another priority customer shows up and you continue to wait. - We were relegated to what they called the historical Dennis Tower which translates to old, with minimal maintenance. The room was supposed to be non-smoking and the first thing we smelled when we walked in was smoke! - The room was deplorable. I needed to plug my cell phone into an outlet behind the bed and was appalled. There was a thick coating of dust from the 1980’s back there and the outlet that the lamp plugged into was hanging out of the wall with no cover. You had to jiggle the wire and outlet in order to find a spot where the wires made a connection. - I looked under the bed and found the carpet to be 80% covered in the same level of dust as was behind the headboard. You could see the carpet was vacuumed only where the head of the vacuum could fit under the bed. I called to front desk to complain and no one answered. I called maintenance and no one answered. I called housekeeping an no one answered. Come on man what kind of operation is being run here? - The light in the bathroom was also vintage 1980’s complete with rust and hair on top of it! - Their Italian restaurant is not open on Thursday night I have no plans to ever come back unless they comp me for the new tower. They claim that they are restricted in making upgrades to the Dennis Tower because it is historical. I never knew cleaning a room was prohibited in a historical building. Nay, nay stay away from the Dennis the Menace tower of doom! The AC health Department and code division should shut this place down.

I went for my birthday. (won't do that again) I had several family members come and stay to help celebrate. FIRST, THEY ARE SO RUDE. My husband has lung/heart issues, so he, my father and myself were walking from the parking garage all the way around to the check-in area, he felt woozy and almost passed out. I decided to go request a wheel chair. (well why did I do that?) I went to security, who directed me to the bell desk, who directed me to a supervisor (AARON). This was at about 730pm on Thursday 11/29/23. When the supervisor finally came out, I explained the situation, and was promptly told that wheelchairs must be reserved. I explained that my husband doesn't usually use a wheelchair, but for some reason was feeling poorly this particular day. I asked "you have none for situations like this when a guest falls ill unexpectedly?" His response was "no". He offered to call security and told me that IF they had someone to spare they'd send someone. He called and quite naturally, they said they had no one to spare. By now I'm livid cause I don't know what's going on with my husband. I had left my father (77yrs old) with him just so he wouldn't be alone if something happened. I said to AARON, if I go back around there and he's since passed out, I will get a lawyer and sue. Well, when I said that, he told me that since I want to mention legal action, he can no longer help me. I told him he hadn't helped me and he didn't need to raise his voice to me as I am a guest. He told me that he wasn't going to deal with my ignorance. I told him not to call me ignorant, and he repeatedly did AND threatened to cancel my reservation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By then, my husband & father had somehow made it around to the registration area. My husband told Aaron to stop arguing with his wife and to just check us in and he did. THIS WAS JUST THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. From someone who was supposed to be a manager!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WLL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN, NOR WILL MY FRIENDS/FAMILY.

Ballys Hotel is in bad shape, sort of depressing. It was not clean, not well attended, slow service and a down right nasty room. It was like a closet. Asked for more pillows and told you can have 1 and only 1. We would strongly advise staying away and finding someplace nicer in the near proximity. There are so many to choose from.
