After a nightmare of an experience with “The Showboat.” We reserved a room at 11PM on a Friday night. No issues setting up the stay or checking in to the hotel. We were able to park in the garage and take the elevator straight up to the floor we were staying on. They are in process of renovating their rooms. There is a small kitchen with all the essentials. The space was big enough for my family of four. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and courteous. They have a txt service for anything that you may need during your stay. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you need a place to stay in Atlantic City.
Parking was horrible. If you have more than one car you are expected to park down the street. Valet was rude. Front desk was not helpful. There are better places in Atlantic City. There is a lot of street noise. Rooms have a dated look. In our room there was a bathtub in one bedroom. It was next to the bed. Very odd placement.
Been coming since kids were born and are now in 20's. Resort has upgraded so many things since taken over by Wyndham. Indoor pool is awesome, location on beach block across from resorts. Staff and SECURITY professional and respectful. We park off site as charging for timeshare resort parking , after paying yearly nut, to me is wrong. Otherwise awesome spot for family or not.............
The building is somewhat old but still in good condition . The resort is close to the center on Atlantic City and very close to the beaches as well as some big casinos's like Hard Rock cafe and Ocean.
I travel to the shore for the fresh air in the Autumn. I love it because the crowds are gone and the halls are so quiet. The roomes are large with some of the softest beds. The staff is very responsive when I have a concern. Will continue to visit.
I would go to hotel again if the bathroom was for handicap guests. The shower head install in the room was not appropriate it had not hose so Mr. Carlos searched for one for us to use. Mr. Carlos's supervisor assisted us to get what was needed.
We were delighted with the spacious and clean apartment, located on the 27th floor, from where we had a splendid view of the ocean and the city, as well as the entire hotel, located near the Boardwalk The hotel staff was extremely kind and helped us with local information and directions regarding the route to Washington DC and then from Washington DC to New York. I would mention Anastasia, who gave us directions regarding the shops where we could get food and drinks, and especially the receptionist Ali, who tried to fix our GPS, which was not working, and, in the end next, he printed the routes to Washington DC and New York. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone. We warmly recommend this hotel.
Wyndham Skyline Towers is primarily a building with time-sharing resort units - you can become a member of Club Wyndham and get access to several resorts throughout the year. Though like I did, the other option is to snag a good deal for a short term stay via a third party site. The building is located beside the Resorts casino and 15 mins from Bally's, so easily walkable to the main stretch of boardwalk. There is paid self parking in a garage within the building, for $15 a day. The check in process is quick, one desk confirms your reservation and takes your card for a temporary incidental charge of $150, while a second desk gives you a wristband that functions as a room key - super useful. The resort wrist band also gives you some offers for local bars and restaurants, which is a good reason to wear it while roaming the city. The 6th floor has the pool, arcade, billiard, ping pong while the 1st floor has the 24 hour gym. Given I was in town for two nights to run the Atlantic City marathon, I didn't really use any of the resort facilities. If you are travelling with kids, there are scheduled resort activities announced for the week in advance. A lot of the reviews point out that 3 elevators are not sufficient for the entire 32 floor resort (guest rooms on the 7th to 31st floor), but I was lucky and never had to wait more than a minute. The elevators are a little small, accommodating 10, so I can understand there may be a longer wait during peak occupancy. The unit itself was delightful. I snagged the deluxe one-bedroom suite which includes 822 sq ft with a fully stocked kitchen, living area, balcony, bathroom and bedroom with a jetted spa tub. The kitchen has all the appliances you may need for a long stay, and has glasses, plates, bowls, knives, cutlery and jugs. There are TV's across from the living room couch and the bedroom. Both the main rooms have AC units which are controlled by a thermostat which is convenient. Wifi coverage was fine everywhere in the unit (the free version was 10 Mbps). Overall the suite seems well adapted for a group of 2 adults and 1 child (with possibly another on the queen sized sleeper sofa). As I was travelling solo, I didn't use much, but everything was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and there was no noise from other suites. The jetted tub in the bedroom was easily the highlight as I imagine one can spend an hour or two in there sipping a drink or reading. Returning from the marathon, I certainly made full use of it for my recovery :) The one issue I faced was that the showerhead in the bathroom had a limited area of water coming out, which wasn't a big hassle. Note that the Club Wyndham website has accurate images of each of the suites, so you can check it out yourself. Housekeeping services are suspended right now due to Covid protocols. Also there is no on-site food option, though there is a CVS vending machine on the 1st floor for certain essentials. Another positive was that all the staff you meet are extremely courteous and always greet you, quite a change from the typical hotel experience. Overall this was one of the most comfortable stays I have had. Prices fluctuate over time, so I suggest checking on booking.com 2-4 months in advance of your stay for the best rate. …
The Club Wyndham Skyline Tower is right alongside Resorts Casino and Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City. You are a ten-minute walk up the block which the adjoins the boardwalk. We felt very safe there walking back and forth to the boardwalk and nearby casinos. You are also a 5-minute drive to the outlets. I would not attempt to walk to the outlets from here. The parking garage is within the building, and they charged $15/day to self-park in the garage. It was convenient. We had two couples staying together in a 2-bedroom condo, and we were surprised to learn that only one car per condo was allowed. The condo itself was spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. All the previous complaints you read about the elevators have been resolved. There were three running elevators, and they were fast and functional. We had no issues whatsoever with elevators.…
Wyndham has done a great job at this resort in every aspect. T location was a block off the ocean - made for an easy walk to the boardwalk. Plenty of parking spaces, although only one per unit at fifteen dollars a day plus tax.??
