A beautiful resort in the Eastern Shenzhen. Situated in the beach area and 7 min walk from Subway station. The resort is right next to the beach, and the part of beach is almost private to hotel users so very convenient. There is also a huge swimming pool (with kids section and adult section), but very generous in size and very nice to swim in. The adult pool is an infinity pool which is great for photo taking. I stayed with my family in the "main building", all rooms are generous in size and all enjoy seaview. There is a newer building called the "Club Wing", rooms are more expensive there , slightly smaller than main building, and some don't have seaview, but it's quieter and newer. So for family travellers, I will definitely recommend the "Main building", for honeymoon couples, Club wing maybe a better choice. I stayed in the open family suite, the room was huge in size (~900 sq ft), the bathroom was big with a beautiful tub. The bed was big and the mattress was very comfy. The hygiene of the hotel was pretty good, except for public male toilets, as many local (men) like to smoke in the males bathroom. The hotel has many staff, all quite friendly and are willing to help. English level was so-so but definitely enough staff to take care of customers. My whole family was very impressed by this hotel and we are looking forward to go again soon! We tried the buffet breakfast and a la carte meals (3 times) at the hotel's main restaurant. Pricing point was definitely high (in Shenzhen standard) but the quality was very good !

This is a wonderful resort. I had an incredible time to finish by business trip. Fantastic room, I was on the 8th floor with a balcony and sea view - great views. Restaurants served great food. Staff are incredibly friendly, with no shortage of them to attend to you. Pool side service. The beach is private and very clean. The sea, what I think is the East China Sea, unbelievably clear and warm. If you have a family I would recommend this resort too, so much for the kids to do also.

We went to the executive club of the hotel. There is a big difference from the Intercontinental side ( though it's under the same hotel). This area is more stylish, modern and high-end and of course, the rates here is a little expensive than the Intercon hotel area. It 's a low rise apartment with balcony. Rooms here is much much less than the Intercon area so it's really relaxing, comfortable with high privacy! We join the " Ambassador " program and it can last for 1 year (Paid )+ 1 complimentary to upgrade rooms, early check in & late check out if there's availability . Besides, they will have free tea set for 2 and free happy hour for 2 under this program each day( count on how many nights you stay ) ! This " Ambassador" program is worldwide under IHG group's hotel. The fee is really acceptable!

The outdoor swimming pool is an infinity pool and there's an indoor swimming pool as well. For the Gym, 24 hours opened. There is a beautiful beach in front of the hotel . Just 3-5 mins walk from the outdoor swimming pool. There's a water sports centre next to the hotel where you can play many kinds of water sports here!
We've been here for a few times but it's the first time that we get out of the hotel and walk to the outdoor outlet mall next to it! We did it this time because it's after typhoon . With no expectation, we had lots of fun and did a very good shopping here! 10-15 mins walking distance which is very acceptable !
Of course, one of the funnest part to stay in hotels in China is to have food delivery from restaurants/ small shops nearby! It is real fun and the price is cheap! Trust me, not many countries can do this!

After a Disney trip that was like a training, the four days and three nights at Dameisha InterContinental Hotel were a redemption, bringing great and effective healing effects to the body and mind. This place is the perfect weekend getaway from the busy life in Shenzhen where ‘Time is money and efficiency is life’. You are in bubble made up of clean white sand, gentle breezes, and great views across the warm water. But the attentive and helpful staff really make the experience. The Club rooms are our favourite with the added benefits that come with Club membership being great value.

The room facilities are complete and the service staff quality is high, which is very different from some fast business hotels. In particular, the Lewis service of the Military Department is very good and worthy of praise. A variety of breakfast options, new room amenities, comfortable beds and overall value for money made it a very satisfying experience. Extra bed is available, parking is available in the basement at the entrance, close to several subway stations, 7 or 8 minutes' walk. Seven or eight kilometers from the airport. There's a Club lounge at Sheraton Dameisha Resort. But there don't have afternoon tea. Only cocktail happy hours in the evening. Many alcohol, wine & beer selection plus lots of snack foods. Only to pay a small fee to upgrade the stay to the club floor.
From Hong Kong airport faster way is to take a MPV transport from the mainland transport counter. Cost is HK$150 per pax to Huang Gang border and took only around 40 minutes. After the Huang Gang border China immigration clearance, may take a taxi from the taxi stand to any part of Shenzhen.

I don't think it is private; i.e. fenced off but the hotel is by far the main source of users and is not crowded. Sand was clean when I stayed in December 2018
