Part of our package was staying in this hotel for the night. This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed on. First is that the front desk personnel barely speaks english. Second wifi is only available in the lobby which does not have AC. Third staff spitting on the floor. Fourth rooms are dirty. Fifth breakfast was terrible, plate and utensils are not cleaned properly. Food is really bad from our stand point. Only consolation is that this is a few blocks away from the shopping area.
Beautiful looking from the outside, but when you get inside you will see the dilapidated and very dirty lobby, flooring, wall and ceiling. Even the personnel are shabby wearing dirty uniforms. Dinning room is also very bad to include the foods. It's true other guests are very noisy. Not recommended for tourist. The whole Shenzhen should not part of itinerary.
no guards, no a/c in lobby and the pillow smelled like somebody's saliva dried on it it seems like many people live in this hotel as well. you'd be scared if you'll be alone in the elevators as many have said there are many robbers in shenzhen breakfast sucks! but there's 711 nearby plus KFC if you'll walk heading to the nearest train station
Me and my friend stayed for one night at the Green Tree Inn in Shenzhen. Our tour guide checked us in, so we weren't hassled by the non-english speaking staff. The room was pretty spacious but everything was old. We really don't mind since we're not very particular with room specifics. What scared the hell out of us was that someone was calling our room phone at 1 o'clock in the morning. It was a girl, and the only thing that she's saying is "hello" and then she'll hang up. After the third time, I told my friend to just hang the phone so no call would come in. At 1:30AM, THE PHONE RANG AGAIN. WHILE IT WAS STILL HANGED. I replaced the reciever on the cradle and it was still ringing. I picked up and there was the girl again. I started talking angrily, asking who's calling. She dropped the call and we pulled the line from the wall to the phone. It was after a few hours before we got over the experience and slept. I will not go back to that hotel even if you blackmail me. To other travelers, beware.…
