We stayed in executive rooms (three families). Here are the thoughts from executive access perspective. Pros: - everything was functioning well in the rooms - big soap shampoo conditioner dispensers - very friendly and helpful staff - clean - very well maintained Cons: - management is cutting corners, executive lounge had fridges locked outside of opening hours (first time saw this in an executive lounge), not even coffee machine available - no breakfast available in executive lounge (they asked us to pay for kids downstairs) - not enough glasses during happy hour - no coctail shaker during happy hour - they even ran out of soda water in the fridge - food ok upstairs but nothing special - executive rooms had standard instant coffee (I would expect a capsule machine) As I said, it's not staff fault, it's the management that is cutting corners :) Overall good stay but could be a better experience if executive lounge wasn't so ... Cheap. …
Trying different hotel is how I take a break from work under this circumstances. It was my pleasure to visit the Crowne Plaza. It located in a very convenience location. The facilities and services were over my expect. Especially the trainee Jasper in the CFF lounge. His service were very enthusiastic and helpful. His smile and service melted me during the breakfast time in the lounge. Providing me hand sanitizer before breakfast and trying to keep everyone safe. Reminding me to wear mask when I exit the restaurant. His warm and scrumptious service impress me, and hope to met him again in the future.
Stayed here for a month moving to Shenzhen. The hotel is a bit old but the service was incredible and really extraordinary for keeping up such standards during difficult times. Management also dealt with problems quickly and effectively. Very pleased with my stay and felt at home.
One of the cheaper hotels in the CBD, but worth it, with an excellent location and pool! Friendly staff, clean, rooms, and all of that, but what is the main draw is the price, location and pool. For less than $100 USD, you are centrally located in the downtown CBD, walking distance to good restaurants, craft breweries and sites. To relax, there is a large outdoor pool, which at night, is even better, surrounded by the lighted buildings, adding to the view, not blocking it. An easy escape weekend can take place at the Marco Polo, and it is recommended if you want a place to hide from the chaos that surrounds...
Im travelling very often to China. When I visit Shenzhen my best hotel option is Marco Polo. Since 2008 is my hotel. Very comfortable, I feel like home. Incredible food, rooms highly clean. Convenient for fun after work. Many restaurants and bars around the hotel. Also You can find big mall. Thanks Marco Polo Staff. Javi, Spain
I regularly stay at the Marco Polo SZ when I visit SZ with friends. Our recent stay from Dec 21 to Dec 25 was a very pleasant experience. The staff were all very helpful and prompt in the services. We especially want to thank the staff at the Executive Lounge for exceptional service. Many thanks to Zoro Lian and his colleagues.
This hotel is near to the MTR station, as well as the Futian Railway station (for train connection between HKG and Shenzhen). So, commuting in Shenzhen via the public transport is convenient. A number of shopping complexes and supermarkets are also within walking distance. Room-wise, it was big, clean and very comfortable. The staff, from the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping, was very friendly. Edwin, thank you for ensuring we had a pleasant breakfast.
Great and enthusiastic service from both Zoro and Joy at the business centre to help me print my presentation slides. Also the hotel was fast to resolve my issue on the noise from outside by upgrading my room to a quiet sector.
This is the first time I have visited this hotel and I will be back. As an English speaker I found it easy to communicate with staff. The rooms were a nice size, very clean, all the amenities. There are plenty of places to eat in the hotel and a nice breakfast buffet. Very close to malls and tons of food options. Also a 5 minute walk to Futian station which is a great location to get you to the airport or other places in Shenzhen.
I stayed in the hotel two nights. From the checkin until leaving the hotel, ı felt like home. I was Upgraded to business floor 40th floor. The Facility Receptionist / Supervisor of the 40th floor Lounge ( Ms. Mary ) was the most friendly staff in the hotel that I met.
