If you like gardening, then you will love this hotel. Their must be at least 30-50 different varieties of plants and flower growing here. Like a botanical garden. The staff is great. Not everyone speaks English, but everyone will try to make sure you have a great stay. Note this is a 3 star hotel, not a 5 star hotel, but this is the best 3 star hotel I have ever stayed. Suggest get a ground floor room so you can enjoy the garden from front porch of your room. This hotel is smack in the middle of Shekou Sea World in one of the first stone block building built in Shenzhen following the establishment of the Shenzhen SEZ.
Small boutique hotel located in a quiet, safe and clean neighbourhood of Shekou port. Close to Sea World, Cruise & Ferry terminal or Metro station. Room was clean and beautifully furnished, large bathroom with walk in shower, well done. Food at the restaurant was incredibly cheap and good. Staff was very friendly and efficient....I will come back on my next occasion!
We stayed there 2 times, great hidden place in the city feels like on vacation there, food is good, rooms are clean, decorated nicely, service good and stuff nice and English speaking. In a foreigner area of Shenzhen. Definitely will be coming back again.
Must say, that in my humble opinion, it's one of most interesting hotels Shekou has to offer - off the beaten path (without the typical Shekou hustle & bustle), nice & minimalistic design(lofty rooms with loads of natural materials), nice&friendly staff, reasonable (by Shekou standard) pricing. Stayed here number of time and will definitely return.
Unique experience and concept, it felt like home. Friendly and helpful staffs. Location was less than five minutes walking distance from beautiful Sea world area and the metro station. Safe and clean neighbourhood. Would definitely come back home.
I picked this hotel because I had to take the ferry from Shekou port and it was one of the closest hotels to the ferry terminal with pretty decent reviews. The rooms were simple - I had to request for a change of room because the room they gave me originally was near the entrance and a couple of other guests walked by, talking loudly and I could hear every word of their conversation. The staff were very nice about it and gave me a room at the far end of the property and whilst it was not as new as the room I was originally assigned, at least it was peaceful. She was reluctant to give me that room at first as the bathroom had yet to be renovated, but at least I got a decent night's sleep which is all I needed really. The property is walking distance to Sea World and also from Shekou port for the ferries. I was very impressed by the staff who were not only very polite & helpful but also English speaking, just be warned that not all hotels in China have English speaking staff! All in all, a very pleasant experience and I would thoroughly recommend it to you if you wish to choose this hotel. Thank you!…
Well hidden, very close to SheKou port just to jump off China directly to Hk Airport by ferry, I really liked and I will include in my next visit to shenzen, in spite I just slept there for a night it was the best hotel I stayed at while in China, unique place in China that really understands what we occidentals feed on. Thanks guys, my regards to EGG TARTS
We have a conference twice a year in shekou. This little gem is within walking distance of SeaWorld, has a decent restaurant on site that many people who don't stay at the hotel even flock to. Tucked away on a side street, water in the litter gardens that you don't even hear the busy street. Great value in a very expensive part of town, especially for families. Clean and basic. This time our room had it's own little enclosed garden which was a plus. Oh and plenty of comfy pillows! Check in and check out were very quick and simple. Would come again.
This is a great place to stay for anyone going to Shekou, within 5 minutes walking distance of the Shekou Port metro station Exit C, where there is a free shuttle bus to the ferries at the new Shekou Cruise Center. It is peaceful and secluded, just behind the QSI International School and the Pet Shop off Taizi Road. I particularly enjoyed the terrace garden, complete with a cute pair of bulbuls who chirruped to me every morning. No deposit was demanded on arrival, a stark contrast with the Shekou Haitao Hotel round the corner. The hotel restaurant also offers reasonable meals three times a day.
Non-frills hotel, but very nice & relaxed. Much value for money, very personal attention. Quiet even though close to traffic on Taizi Road and only short walk to Sea World area. Will stay here again next time I come back
