Hotel in a shared building

This hotel is part of a shared building with at least 2 other hotels and a number of professional offices. The website we booked through did not mention this so we were quite thrown to start with. Outside the lift there is a table which frequently has at least 2 uniformed guards who give off more of a worrying vibe than a feeling of safety. The bathroom was quite smelly - think it was the pipes, and we found a dead bug in the hallway of our room. As with most hotels in China, the "English" spoken is of an extremely low level - do not rely on it for much help.

Apart from that, decent hotel for what you pay. Close to a metro station. Clean sheets and towels, free toiletries and wifi (wifi was very slow).
