Date of stay: December 2018 Accommodation Type: Twin Room on 2nd storey, Villa 2 Traveller type: Business Overall Rating: 7.6/10 Cleanliness: 8/10 Amenities/Facilities: 8/10 Location: 7/10 Room comfort and quality: 7/10 Service: 8/10 7.6 Comfortable Stay for A Work Trip PROS - Stayed in a villa with only event attendees and the organizers, which gave the feeling of exclusivity - There were only 4 rooms on the 2nd storey where I was staying so privacy was a plus - Housekeeping staff are meticulous as they even folded my clothes that I left on the bed! - Sleep quality was excellent for me even though the bed felt a little damp, maybe I was just too exhausted. Clean sheets and firm bed CONS - Maybe because of the climate, the beds felt damp - Soundproofing can be better; we can hear people talking loudly at the stairwell - Housekeeping staff often forget to replace bathroom mats and refill toilet paper Was told that this entire resort or hotel was previously used to host government officials hence it’s supposed to be a luxury accommodation. However, perhaps since it’s no longer used to serve its original purpose, it has now deteriorated into a lacklustre villa with a hint of its former glory. It’s a comfortable stay for a work trip in Villa 2, but if it’s for vacation, I suggest you look around for other options.

Stayed here 3 days in April for business. Arrived late after having flown trans-Pacific into HKG, and thus was very tired. Check-in was fast, and I was pleasantly surprised by the clean room with nice view over the pool. Breakfast is interesting, varied, and well-done, although there was confusion over whether I needed to get my own coffee (my preference!), or be served - minor point. I did not give 5 stars because the gym does not open until 9 am! For people on business, these hours are unacceptable since the only time to get in a workout is early in the morning. We were also told that the fabulous outdoor pool was closed for the season, but we saw several groups using it, so we could not try to get in a swimming workout either. Please open your gym in the morning for your business clientele - would be helpful. All in all, it’s a quiet little paradise in busy Shenzhen.

The park looks superb. The hotel all grandeur. I had a very nice business lunch. Very fine local cuisine in the separate dining rooms. Ask for some of the fish. Prepared with great care and fine taste. The plates are alos remarkably decorated. Artist work

The rooms here are comfortable with super views over the gardens, the pool is very large, so you can get away from or be with children. The breakfast is large and varied. The entrance is grand and you can walk down to the semi-private lake where it is very quiet. On the way back from our walk, we were picked up by one of the staff in a club car/modified golf cart, who drove us back to the hotel entrance when he saw us walking. We made a special request and the staff was helpful and unobtrusive.

chosen this hotel due to a wedding to attend. everything was fine except for the air conditioning. it's quite warm on the day of my arrival and my room is extremely hot due to the room is facing west and even the curtain was closed the whole afternoon it doesn't make any much difference. the hotel central air-con is not turn on at the room. ask room attendant for a fan and in the beginning she say no with just a snap in her finger. I was extremely frustrated and would move to other hotel if i do not need to attending the wedding. but however to my surprise, when I came back in the evening, the fan was place right there. it's still slightly hot even with the fan on but it's better than nothing. honestly, I would go back to this place as it is really a place to relax and out from the city life. only is make sure u mention room do not face west and east of possible.
