Exceptional property, the warmest, kindest and most helpful staff. The food and service is amazing. The staff - very attentive, warm greeting every time you meet them. From the moment you enter the property, there's always a cold hand towel offered. Upon leaving in the evening, they even spray you with mosquito repellent spray. When guiding you to your room, they explain everything well. The staff are excellent The property - clean, beautifully designed. The rooms are spacious. Good air conditioning and no mosquitos. All staff were great including the hotel front manager and Saiyon. Thanks so much! The food - breakfast is excellent, you choose off the menu and it's made to order. The lunch and dinner menu is extensive, and cocktails are great. I can't wait to stay here again and this time will bring my family ❤️

Hotel's Favourite
Having worked in hotel hospitality for several years, I can happily say this is the very best hotel I have ever stayed in. I genuinely believe that all hotels should send staff here to see the service provided and what they could and should aspire to. We were holidaying across Cambodia & Vietnam and had an all-too-short 4-night stay here at Viroths. The staff are the heart and soul of this wonderful hotel and whilst I am very sorry to say I cannot recall names now, they certainly will remember your name and will do anything they can for you. From check-in to check-out we felt thoroughly well looked after. It was my partner's birthday during our holiday and I arranged a vintage car pick up from the airport and they also kindly dropped us back in another vintage car so we got to arrive and leave in style. They also made a cake and sang Happy Birthday at breakfast, which was a really nice surprise for him. They can arrange all sorts of trips and will personalise to whatever you require. Rooms are spacious and cool, and ours had a lovely big balcony over the pool area. Beds are super comfy with plenty of space in the bathroom too. We were deeply impressed with housekeeping, who somehow knew when you'd left the room, even for 40 minutes at breakfast, and snuck in like little magic ninjas to make up the bed, towels etc. Breakfast is delicious and they will make to order from a menu of various items so you can select what you'd like. I can highly recommend the local noodle soups. We ate out in the evenings and I hope the hotel won't mind me also highly recommending the Chanrey Tree just across the river and Haven for two utterly delicious Cambodian restaurants. Again, they will happily assist with any restaurant bookings. The main part of town is only a 5-minute walk away with plenty of shops if you need anything close by. We were always personally welcomed back at any time of day with a cool towel and sometimes a drink. In the evenings they will douse you in a natural mosquito spray and although we did get bitten a couple of times, we didn't really notice any bugs at all. Thank you to all the team at Viroths - your hotel made our trip and we were super sad to leave. Although we only saw a very small part of it, Cambodia is an amazing country with amazing friendly people - we will definitely be back and won't consider staying anywhere else! Sonia & Simon

My husband and I stayed at Viroth's Hotel to visit the Angkor temples in January 2024: The hotel and the food are absolutely lovely - and everybody was extremely helpful, friendly and caring. We would love to come again!

This is a very stylish hotel. The guest rooms are extremely comfortable and well-appointed. The service is excellent and the staff could not be more helpful and attentive. It has a great location within a short walking distance of the old part of Siem Reap and only ten minute drive to Angkor Wat. It has a lovely swimming pool and sun terrace on which to relax, after exploring the nearby temples. The food is very good. It is hard to fault the Viroth Hotel in any way. I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

We loved Viroths Hotel a small hotel with a big heart. Ideally located with just a short level walk into town. The staff are just great, the breakfast is amazing and our room very comfortable and quiet. Lovely pool and gardens. We really recommend it.

My 3rd stay, just as good as the first 2. This is an amazing hotel. Only around 34 rooms, so very personal, you are addressed by name after an hour or so. I book a suite, pool view, which is lovely, with tiled bath, nice balcony. Laundry service is amazing, down by 10.00, back by 2pm! Very large, salt water, pool, never crowded. Excellent food, and impeccable service. Hot and cold running staff! I missed the 1950s telephones in the rooms! As the new white elephant airport is so far-away, they no longer use the Mercedes, or the Rolls for pick up, but the service is still efficient. I love the way they spray you with insect repellent when you go out in the evening. It's only a 15 min walk to Beer Street. The only place to stay.

Super hotel. The staff are AMAZING. The bed was very comfortable with good pillows. Quiet too. We were on the first floor above the entrance. Be aware that there is no lift. We stayed 4 nights and ate 2 lunches and 2 suppers in the restaurant as well as every breakfast. Food to be commended. Tine, one of the waiters was on top of everything and remembered your peculiarities. Highly recommended even at the price we paid @ USD 816 in advance for 4 nights (Booking.com $179 a night today).

The Viroth hotel is an outstanding 5* hotel in a wonderful location in Siem Reap. The hotel staff at every level were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We were fortunate to be given a room upgrade which was greatly received and also the reception staff were able to give us an early check. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options to choose from and their dinner selection was extremely tasty. We loved our time here and would highly recommend, and can't wait to come back.

From the moment we arrived the beautiful staff here looked after our every need. From booking our tours and spraying us with mosquito spray and giving us cold towels every time we arrived back. Gorgeous room and pool area. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel arranged temple tour with Ian our guide who was knowledgeable and fantastic. The hotel is well placed to walk to the restaurants yet is tranquil inside. Book Viroth and you won’t be disappointed.
