King Rock is just outside the central entertainment area of Siem Reap but any easy 5 min walk to it. You get the benefits of a quieter location but not needing transport to get around.
The staff are super friendly and capable, a good value breakfast was included, not stretching quality to be over elaborate, and with your eggs cooked to order.
The pool is in an attractive shaded environment - perfect for a cooling dip after a hot day viewing Angkor Wat and the other temples. And a small bar beside the pool for cocktails while you have that dip.
The rooms are large, good beds and clean. We had a balcony overlooking the pool.

KingRock Boutique Hotel is a 7 km away to the Angkor Wat Temple. Tuktuk (is a local way of transportation) available as soon as you get out of the hotel. They have a restaurant if you guys don’t have a time to look for one, but “Pub Street” a busy area where you can find street food, locally and some western cuisine, thats 300 meters away from the hotel and somehow not a knife-pain to your pockets. The hotel offers tours, spa massage, laundry, and cooking lessons for those who are interested. The room is economical yet it’s not for budget travelers, but it’s a good value for a comfy night after a long streaks on temple visits.
The hotel staff Mr. Seang Hean, a very good English communicator, and the hotel ambiance are very close to nature. I recommend this hotel for a couple or family who wants a solemn and relaxing night after a chaotic and tiring day tours, this is not a hotel for party lover travelers though.

Booked this hotel on my friend's recommendation. Eateries and the craft/night markets are nearby. Daily breakfast was not bad. Our room was modern and spacious and we fitted in an extra bed for our son. Hotel transfers to and from airport went smoothly. Service staff were pleasant, attentive and polite. Receptionist tried to sell us a tour but we had already booked one. My friend who recommended this hotel to me shared that she (solo traveller) did not have a good experience with the temple tour that the receptionist sold her. The only snag was that we had to climb 3 stories to reach our rooms as there was no lift to our room on the top floor.

If you want to go for a massage, the Wellness spa across the road is not bad and affordable.

As soon as we arrived, the guy at the reception was using high pressure sales to sell us a tour. We did not want a tour as we like doing our own thing. As we were early, he said he would let us into the room for an extra $10USD and we paid this. Our Friends came in right after us as they were on the same flight and were not charged the $10. Of course we complained and they gave us our money back. The room we got was a honeymoon suite as we wanted a tub( which was very nice) but there was still tooth paste or something on the sink counter. We asked them to clean it and they did but it took us complains 2 more times and them going up with the manager 2 more times before it was dealt with. Once the place was clean it was a good room to stay in but it was a little on the dark side even with the window blinds up.
The guy at the front desk kept harassing us into buying tours for a couple of days every time we walked through the front doors but he finally gave up
The pool here is always in the shade and if you like that, it will be good for you but I did not even go into it or use this area as it was too cold for me
Lots of mosquitoes here as well

We had an amazing almost 3 week stay at this luxurious but reasonably priced hotel! After spending our first night at a sort of run down place further out of town I stumbled upon this beautiful place where for the same very reasonable price we got the “honeymoon suite” located on the ground floor with a little deck overlooking the pool. Just walking to our room felt like a dream, with the waterways on the side of the path filled with koi. Our room was spacious and very clean with beautiful Khmer decorations. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. I actually felt bad because they stood up to greet us every time we came in! We only planned on staying a few nights, but both of us got sick, so that turned into several weeks, and the staff was so understanding with our constant extensions. They arranged drivers for Angkor Wat tours and one staff member even slept out in the entryway to be there when the driver arrived early in the morning. And they even picked up a birthday cake I’d ordered for my boyfriend and hid it until I was ready to give it to him! The restaurant was closed due to Covid, but they offered us a breakfast menu from a nearby restaurant where we could order food, and they brought it right to our door. It was some of the least expensive and most delicious food we had on our trip. And the location is great! We liked that it was on the other side of the river from the night market and Pub street, but still a very short walk. Just walking up the street we were out of the super touristy area but still centrally located. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Well located within walking distance of the center or Pub Street. The staff always ready to help. Given that my stay was during the rainy season and that some evenings there were showers, I was working in my room and did not want to go out for dinner, so the staff went to get me something to eat in a local restaurant. . The hotel bar offers drinks at a reasonable price. My room was large and clean, it faced a school, I could hear Buddhist chants, laughter and prayers which did not disturb me. However the breakfast could be more varied although it was mostly a buffet. Perhaps offer a slightly upscale or tailor-made à la carte. Overall it was good.

The hotel located only 5 minutes walk from city center.
It seemed that time were occupied only 3 or 4 rooms therefore it was very quite and comfortable. We did not take the breakfest cause we liked to sleep till noon or have been travelling to temples.

The stay was very pleasant, all the necessary services were well provided. The staff was very helpful. A nice variegation in hot and humid weather was the indoor pool and the day bar. The chef Yuth Sophea also deserves praise

I stayed here for over a week and it was a great stay all through out. The staff is amazing and we were greeted with smiles all the time and most importantly they were very helpful. The manager always greeted us when he saw us and gave suggestions of where to visit. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. We had a large suite on the 3rd floor. Location wise it is very close to the old quarter and in walking distance of a lot of great restaurants and shopping area. We rented a scooter to travel to the temples and they helped us park it safely overnight. The hotel far exceeded my expectations and I am glad I stayed here.
