Sustainable and responsible tourism is a widely discussed concept but seldom practiced in a developing country like Cambodia. A combination of 4 concepts (Eco-friendly, Rural, Cultural and Natural) makes Angkor Rural Boutique Resort a unique property . To minimise cutting of new trees recycled wood from old houses has been used throughout the resort and original Khmer architecture accents from bygone era has been painstakingly restored to preserve and showcase Cambodian architectural heritage . Just 11 km away from down town, you will find the contrasting worlds between the chaotic city and countryside, we endeavour to promote an authentic eco friendly retreat for our guests, our in-house restaurant mostly serves food made out of organic produces sourced from the nearby local villages or grown in our own organic garden . Majority of our staff, are from nearby rural areas and the rest are trainee students looking for a future in the hospitality sector.

Still here but have to leave a review already because my wife and I are enjoying it so much! Was originally hesitant by being a bit outside downtown, but it’s a quick $2 tuk-tuk ride and the peace and quiet here at this retreat is soothing following the noise of Pub St. The staff has gone above and beyond arranging out outings, to making late breakfasts when we sleep in, to doing our laundry. The rooms are gorgeous, clean and brilliantly decorated. This feels like such an authentic piece of Cambodia and has truly been our favorite part of our time in Siem Reap.

Perfect hotel, away from city , noise and tourists ! Feel so good when you come back after a long touring day ! 1st ) Bravo to the staffs : super attentive and caring , David was the best . Welcomed us with the a great passion fruit cocktail! We arrived late that night , tired and hungry , and they made us the best salads (banana flower and mAngo ) since we are vegetarians they catered to our need ! Super nice ! Also I mentioned that it was my husband ‘s birthday and when we came back to the hotel that day , we had flowers on the bed and an Happy Birthday banner too !! So sweet ! David also got him a cake and candles and came with the night guard to sing him happy birthday in our room : so cute , personal touch and cAre Srey was also so nice to cater our breakfast , fruit salad , salads and lemon grass to please us !! 2) The room are so cute and clean ! All you need ! Shower, TV are super ! Love those old bungalow ! No safe in my room but I didn’t mind that ! 3) they offer free tuk tuk service to the city 4) we had the greatest massage there : nice ladies and super good ( you just have to notify them 30 min or so in advance , same for the tuk tuk ) 5) the garden and the property look gorgeous, and charming , the pool looked Beautiful ( but water a little blurry for me to swim) We extended our stay for 1 night , we were so welcome there and taking care of ! Felt at home not in an Hotel You definitely have to like nature , and not mind the 20-30 from the city ! Will go back and recommend 100%

We had a wonderful time at this very special place. It was great to get out of the main part of town and be in the countryside surrounded by rice fields and cattle. The tuk tuk service is extremely convenient and only 20- 30mins to Siem Reap's many attractions. We were very well looked after by all the staff, who were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to help us. The bungalows and all the facilities were delightful, well maintained and aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, the in house restaurant has outstanding food. We would definitely stay here again.

Much have been said about this very very nice boutique resort. So i am not going to repeat it again. Yes its away from the town (5km i guess), its good for 1st 2 night before setting off to do temples and end up lodging in the town. This resort is situated very near to Roulos Group / Lolei / Hariharalaya area which always miss by quite alot of tourist. Its Bakong Temple and other earlier remnant.. I hope u guys keep up the good works.. though i am only spent it only less than 18hour at the resort.. i did enjoy every second of it. The Nice Lady Receiptionist - Davit attend me on my arrival.. its was a pleasure to be part of ur customer. i wish u all luck. 5* for all. 6* for sleep quality. wil come again for sure.

This was the highlight of our time in Siem Reap. Located outside of the city in the Cambodian countryside this accommodation has amazing surrounding scenery and is simply beautiful. The staff are all local to this area and are students in training, the owners seem to give a lot back to the area, giving free English lessons to local children and making the accommodation as eco friendly as possible. The accommodation it's self is equally Stunning with a very spacious room, bathroom and terrace area. I loved the tropical feel they've created in the garden and around the pool. Breakfast was delicious and we had two great dinners there too. On the whole this accommodation is very good value for money. With each meal, your water and fresh fruit is free of charge. Airport shuttle (both ways) is also included in addition to one free return trip into Siem Reap in the evening. I can't recommend this accommodation enough the staff are so lovely and accommodating especially the lovely young lady who worked in the evening. Thank you so much x
