We stayed at the Bensley Collection Pool Villas. The place was beautiful, amazing and very private. Love our private pool and outdoor shower. Our personal butler, Son, was awesome. He welcomed us graciously and was very attentive to our needs. He spent almost an hour to decorate our outdoor tub prior to our arrival by covering the water with petals. It was so beautiful. He would bring our delicious breakfast every morning and made sure that we had everything we need. We had a private tour guide and a driver provided by the hotel. Our tour guide, Rum took us to all of the great temples including the famous Angkor Wat. He was so knowledgeable, very nice and even carried cold bottles of water for us to drink. Our driver, Rith was also very nice and treated us very well each time we were out. Every time we go back to the car after the tour, he would greet us with cold hand towels and made sure we have very cold water in the car since the weather was quite warm. On our last night, we came back to our villa just to find candles on every steps of the stairs leading to the sky lounge where they placed netting around the outdoor bed. I can't say enough how wonderful the staff and the service in this hotel. Everyone went above and beyond making our stay memorable.…
Spectacular hotel! A beautiful hotel in an ideal location in Siem Reap. This is probably one of the best hotels we’ve every stayed at; the decor is incredible, the staff are wonderful and the food is great. We opted for a private villa which gave us our own pool, a private butler and top notch luxury. It was well worth it. Our butler (G1) was incredible and went above and beyond the call of duty. Of particular note: set up the private Angkor Wat tour through the hotel. It was so worth having a private guide and driver because in the heat you can go at your own pace.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful The food was excellent. The room we had beside the pool was very relaxing Siem Reap is a great place to visit and Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat should not be missed It was hot when we were there but the aircon was good and a dip in the pool soon cooled you off
Nice looking hotel on 2 sides of the room. Rooms very pleasant although in need of some tender care and attention. The door handle was loose. No magnifying mirror on the bathroom:, the body lotion was thin. However the pool was huge with pleasant quiet gardens there is a second pool with a water fall. Happy hour on both sides was welcome. The staff were excellent. Breakfast was good. You could choose from 2 restaurants one more formal and one with lighter mor3 international bistro type dishes.
In a word - AMAZING!!! Where do I begin? This place is like a paradise on earth. First and foremost, I cannot say enough about the outstanding staff. In all my travels, this was the best staff I experienced. They are second to none in their attention to detail and quality of service. They made every person feel special. I felt like a celebrity with individualized attention. Secondly, the hotel itself is breathtakingly beautiful. From the gorgeous artwork throughout the facility, the peaceful and serene grounds and pool, to the exquisite food and dining, everything was A+++. If you are planning a trip to Siem Reap, there is no question about where you should stay. The Shinta Mani Angkor should be your first and only choice.
Ewan (GM) and his staff are INCREDIBLE. The service was beyond - from the second I arrived, they knew my name, my room number, etc and did everything they could to make our stay memorable. Helpful in booking reservations, cars, etc. I will be back!
All is can say is WOW, WOW, WOW!!! This hotel is beautiful, but the staff and especially the GM Ewan are all so wonderful, kind, courteous and personable. The food and drinks are also top notch!! I hope to come back to Cambodia and will definitely stay with Ewen again at the Shinto Mani Hotel.
Service was fantastic…..staff was so sweet and helpful…..room was beautiful, pool awesome……can’t rave enough………when in Siem Reap…..STAY HERE! 😁🇰🇭🍷. You won’t regret one minute of your experience…great happy hour too, for those who enjoy adult beverages……….😬
I don't know where to begin. The facility was exquisite, the pool and food were amazing. And the spa treatments were equally spectacular. Yes, we were at the end of a very long adventure and this was our last stop and we were able to stay three nights. But wow, I was impressed on all levels. Oh, and I almost forgot about dinner at the Villas. The restaurant was incredible. I had a "plant-forward" meal which was a refreshing change from all the beef/pork and fish we had all trip. Although the food throughout our trip was great, this chef really leveled up the experience providing fresh and inventive food. It was absolutely delightful. I know that Mr Bensley is an American who has focused on providing the quality that higher-end American travelers expect. And he has accomplished just that. Bravo! …
Shinta Mani - ask for Grace, and temple tours - ask for Brathna! We loved our stay here. Our "personal butler" Grace was superb - incredibly helpful, easy to reach, and full of humor and kindness. She accommodated all our requests, including adding mosquito netting around the bed, arranging all gluten-free food for my wife who has Celiac disease, arranging a tuktuk driver anytime we wanted to go anywhere, and arranging very early checkin and late checkout. And she thoughtfully arranged a lot of surprise extras like lotus flowers in the bathtub, and decking out the villa with candles on our last night. She really went above and beyond every day of our stay. The villas, which have various indoor and outdoor areas, are stunning - well-designed and well-maintained. The property is beautiful and well situated so you can walk into town when it's not too hot, or take a short tuk tuk ride (more fun!). We also enjoyed the Kroya restaurant, the restaurant by the pool, and the gin bar. This was the perfect place to stay to see Siem Reap! We were in Siem Reap for only only a few days and wanted to see as much as we could, so we booked 3 days of tours in a row - the “small tour” of Angkor Wat and several other temples nearby, the “grand tour” where you see the rest of the temples near Angkor Wat, and the tour of Boeng Mealea and Banteay Srei which are about 90 minutes away. Brathna was our guide for all 3 days and he was the best! He was very affable, and so knowledgeable about the history of every temple and the history of Cambodia in general. And the tours were very well designed so we got to see a lot without feeling rushed or having to deal with big crowds. Each temple is so different and unique - we were never bored. And Boeng Mealea and Banteay Srei are well worth the extra drive - do all three tours if you have the time in Siem Reap. And ask for Brathna!…
