The hotel was recently constructed and only reopened five months ago. We stayed for two nights and it was everything we needed - reasonable price, very kind staff and great amenities including a pool. The hotel also offered various yours of Angkor Wat and beyond. Just note that the hotel is somewhat far from Pub Street, around 4 KM, so it is not the best location if you are looking for something closer to the action, but for us it was a quiet perfect location.

This is a really lovely place to stay at a great price, it really is good value for money. Do not be put off by it being out of town it is really easy to get tuk tuks in to town especially if you use Grab. The staff were delightful especially the restaurant staff. The breakfast was a bit disappointing but perfectly adequate. But i would really recommend this as a calm, peaceful and charming place to stay.

(原文) This place is also very closed to Angkor Wat and a place to buy angkorpass. It takes about 10 minutes to arrive pub street.

We enjoyed our 6 night stay at this hotel very much. It is on the edge of the city in a rural area but once you step inside the compound, it is an oasis. We have a double Queen size bed room on the second floor over looking the pool from the balcony. I love sitting there in the morning having tea and listening to birds chipping and roster calling. The neighborhood is very quite. My daughter and I spent a day at the pool. The setting is beautiful. We took tuk tuk to Pub Street and other eating places at night. We also had breakfast and dinner a few times at the hotel. The food is very good at the hotel. The hotel staff are gems, so professional and friendly and accommodating. They noticed one day was my husband’s birthday, Thomas arranged the kitchen to make a beautiful fresh fruit arrangement. At my request, Lucky arranged a birthday cake bought in town and delivered to the hotel, so we can celebrate at night. They also went beyond to pick up my room key when I left at a downtown restaurant. All and all, the staff are super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Siem Reap.

Room Tip: The neighborhood is safe. It is very easy to get a tuk tuk outside the hotel, and the same driver...

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I booked this for the first time using Agooda site. The reviews on the site were totally wrong and deceptive as none of the description provided by the site or the people's comments were true. Based upon the glowing comments I booked this hotel in Siem Reap trusting that everything that ws written and said was true and they asked for a non-refundable full amount upfront. To my dismay the hotel was located on a dirt road that even the Taxi driver had hard time finding out. The room was big and nice the lobby was in shambles. There was no buffet or main restaurant on site. The room had the worst air-conditioner making so much noise that my wife and I could not sleep the entire night and with mosquitos buzzing in our ears. The bath room was very basis and there was no light in the shower area or any separation from the sink so the water spills all over the bath room. The towels were not clean. The worst of all the toilet area was so smelly and it was so hard to breath any fresh air in the room. In brief, we were so annoyed by all this that we told them that we are leaving and they refused to refund any monies that were given for a 4 night accommodation. So we lost the money and moved out to another hotel called Somadevi Resort & Spa which was suchnice hotel and was even cheaper than Grand Venus La Residence. I will recommend never to believe what is written about this hotel and or trust the reviews written on the site like Agooda.

This hotel could be so much better, other reviewers advised that Lucky and Thomas were very helpful, my experience differs somewhat. On the whole the hotel was ok, however first impressions made a lasting impression. Whilst unpacking I noticed both bedside tables were dirty, not just a bit of dust, but what appeared to be blood and mucus (see pic if you need to), the bathroom had metal blinds that were rusting and made the window sill an awful orange/rust colour, the slippers in the room were flip flops that countless other guests had used and the beautiful ‘granite’ bath, had scum marks all over it. I informed Lucky and she sent housekeeping to sort it, sort of!? When we booked, the confirmation stated, free gift, free fruit platter/basket, free welcome drink, discount off food in their restaurant and discount off their spa services. We didn’t receive anything except an iced tea on arrival. I mentioned this to one of the staff members, who said they would inform the day staff and that it wasn’t acceptable. No one bothered to sort it with me. The food was very good and the prices reasonable, but please don’t offer what you’re not going to deliver. My garden/pool/landmark view was also non existent, unless they count a bit of a hedge and tree trunk as garden. If you can get a cheap deal here, then fine but don’t be persuaded by the marketing text and photos, as you’ll be sorely disappointed. There is a coffee machine in the room, but only if you’ve brought your own capsules??

We stayed 8 nights and the staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and caring. It felt a real home from home. The rooms have a modern, clean, comfortable design and everything worked well. The central pool area had trees and plants around it and made a relaxing focus for the hotel. Very nice to laze by the pool and read, and staff bring food and drinks to you. The breakfast and restaurant food was good, and we ate there several nights. The hotel is 10 minutes from the centre of town in a tuk tuk. It costs 3 dollars each way. It depends what you like, but this was a greener, quieter setting where you were part of a Cambodian neighbourhood. There are shops, laundries and local eateries in the immediate vicinity, and the local people are very friendly. I would love to return here.

Very comfortable, extremely kind and friendly staff, good food and good value. A little out of town - but you just need to find a tub tub/taxi driver who knows it (or look at maps on phone). I would recommend highly!

Amazing hotel with warm & helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is well situated, close to the Angkor temples. A bit further to the centre but very quick to reach with a tuk tuk. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The room comfortable and clean. We really appreciated the swimming pool after a day of visits in Angkor. We will come back next time we are in Siem Reap

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Grand Venus La Residence. The staff are absolutely top notch (warm thanks to Thomas, Lucky, and the entire staff): warm, friendly, and very attentive to the needs of the guests. Old Market and Pub Street were a short tuk tuk ride away and the staff are ever ready to secure a car or tuk tuk. The rooms were large, spacious, and thoroughly cleaned every day. There is a restaurant on-site (À Manger) that is affordable--prices are comparable to restaurants on Pub Street--and the food was very good.
