Stayed in The Khmer House - Secret Oasis for 1 week whilst exploring Siem Reap. Hotel was very clean, staff and service very polite professional and helpful. Only downside was we hired a motorbike throughout our whole stay and despite the hotel dropping us off initially to collect the motorbike they were reluctant to drop us back in to town at the end of our stay without a fee, despite not using their free service at all during our stay. This was all resolved in the end but meant we ended up leaving on rather a note. Cleaners tipped but unfortunately no small change for the waiters who were excellent in the restaurant. Would recommend based on cleanliness service and also the fact that the accommodation has two pools offerings different surroundings (classic and modern). Food also very nice and free coffee and water refills available on request.

This is a beautiful hotel in an under developed outskirt of Siem Reap and is a 10 to 15 minute ride from the centre in a Tuk Tuk. But it's worth it because once you are here, you can enjoy fresh air, a salt water and a fresh water pool and great staff, service and food. There's a complimentary Tuk Tuk to take you to the heart of Siem Reap, for shopping, dinner etc. The only issue was sometimes at night the Tuk Tuk drivers struggled to find it on the way back from the heart of Siem Reap which feels a bit like a frontier town that is capitalising on the temples which it is, but they found it with the help of Google Maps. I suspect this part of Siem Reap will rise up fast and the hotel will become better known.

This was our last hotel in Cambodia, the least expensive and the best, right from the airport pick up. It's a little out of town, but offers free tuk-tuk one way.
Everything was perfect. The rooms are lovely, we had one of the new ones on the ground floor right by the.pool, which caught the afternoon sun which was just right for us.The bath was amazing, the beds were comfortable and good, quiet air con. Outside, beautiful gardens, two pools, one with jacuzzi, plenty of sunbeds and towel change..Food was good, service immaculate they kindly came to remind me it was five o'clock, in case I wanted a happy hour cocktail ! WhichI did - it would have been rude not to :) They also organised our outings, our own tuk-tuk for the temples for $17 which was put on our bill, and a motorbike tour with Green Frog (which was excellent) We stayed 5 days and could have stayed longer. This was truly the best service we have ever had, efficient but unobtrusive. We were sorry to leave.

It is a little while since our stay , the place was ok , but not somewhere I would return too . There was so much noise until the early hours of the night , groups gathered together drinking in the afternoon and it went on all night and where very disruptive. We asked to move rooms but nothing available but they didn’t speak to the noisy guests . We booked a sunset trip to the temples but they forgot to book a tuk tuk , by the time he arrived we missed the sunset after a hair raising ride but still had to pay on check out . Food was very basic and limited options for breakfast also and despite me advising the hotel before our stay it was my husbands 50th birthday it was not recognised in anyway most hotels would at least acknowledge in some way . I booked on all of the good reviews on TA but I struggle to understand why they are all so good . My mother in law who was travelling with us really enjoyed her stay though

My friend and I stayed here for four nights and had the most amazing time. From the moment we arrived to the moment that we left we were made to feel so welcome. The staff were exceptional always checking in with us that we were okay, they couldn’t have done more to make our stay any better, especially the restaurant staff who would come and chat with us and ask us about our day and where we are off to next. We ate dinner here every night and it was amazing and the cocktails were $2 - brilliant!! Our room was really lovely and right next to one of the swimming pools - which was amazing!! They offer a free tuc tuc service into the main town, which is just wonderful. We got a massage on the last night and it was incredible, would definetly recommend getting one if you are staying there the ladies we had were wonderful. We had such a good stay here, we didn’t want to leave - I would definetly recommend staying here if you are in the area!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here very much.

It's in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Siem Reap. But they provide a free tuk tuk into town. Trip takes less than ten minutes. You can also walk out 10-15 minutes to few restaurants outside.

The breakfast is excellent. Good variety and taste with a choice of local or Western. Also if you have an early pick up for your tour they will provide a breakfast box for you to take on your trip even as early as 530 am. Amazing!!

The restaurant serves excellent local food. They also have Western fare but we didn't try it. They are open for lunch and dinner.

Hotel has two swimming pools. A big fresh water pool and a smaller salt water pool. Great for chilling out after a day out at the temples.

The room is huge and the bath room has a gigantic bath tub. The bed was also comfy and we slept very well. In the evening they provide a very nice essential oil burner. Very soothing.

If there was one draw back it's that the wifi was a bit slow. But that could be because of the position of our unit. Occasionally there were brown outs but it didn't last long and may have been a general problem of the area and not the hotel.

Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind being away from the downtown area.

This little hotel is a gem among the bustle of Siem Reap. The staff are beautifully warm and welcoming, starting with fresh fruit juice upon arrival. The restaurant is superb. They have two pools - one fresh water, one salt water. We stayed in a Khmer styled room but since I didn't see a Western style room, I can't tell you the difference. We truly loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone wanting a tranquil stay in the midst of touring the temples of Angkor Wat.

The most genuinely welcoming, friendly staff of any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The grounds are very nice and the place has a tranquil relaxed feel. It is about 10 minutes from the centre of Siem Reap (pub street etc) but the hotel provide a free tuktuk shuttle between 8am and 8:30pm so this isn’t really an issue. We would definitely stay here again.

3 nights in this hotel with our adult son on an Angkor temples sightseeing tour
We loved the breakfast served to the balcony adjoining our two Khmer Style rooms on the quieter side of the hotel. We overlooked the saltwater pool.
Loved the pools. The staff were very friendly capable and efficient organising us free tuktuk to town and arranging our airport transfers temples trips etc.
We loved the chaotic civility of Siem Reap and the serenity of the hotel

Friendly and attentive staff. Magnificent facilities: the comfortable room, the pleasant restaurant area. But best of all the two swimming pools, one with fresh water, the other with salt water, very beautiful, well maintained, a luxury. Very varied breakfast with 12 or 13 dishes to choose from. As luckily it is not in the center of Siem Reap, the area is quiet. The hotel provides a free tuk tuk to go downtown; return only $2. The excursions they organized for us also very well. I was sorry to have to leave!
