We had a really lovely experience in this boutique hotel. It was calm and relaxing away from the busy centre. The bedroom was wonderful , the beds and pillows high quality. Free transport from airport and into town. The staff couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating. Thank-you so much

Every moment of our stay we experienced excellent service and warm care of the entire staff and management of the hotel! It was perfect! The hotel is very beautifully designed and stylish. There were a lot of nice complimentary extra’s during our stay, which made us feel very special. The room was very nice with a view of the pool. Upon arrival we found a bottle of wine and fruit in our room. All things that make a stay in a hotel comfortable were present. The breakfast is nice as well as the dinner. We stayed 2 nights for dinner. Really nice to relax in the restaurant in the garden/pool area after a warm day of walking. The hotel arranged a tuk tuk with driver Mr Chea for us for a very reasonable price. He also took really good care of us and made our visit to Angkor Wat very nice. We can look back to a wonderful trip and are very glad that we stayed at this hotel which made it to a great succes. We will be back! Thank you!

Stayed here with our family including three children. Everything about this place is wonderful - from the owner picking us up at the airport, the welcome from the ever friendly and attentive staff, lovely restaurant, advice on what to see and do - everything. This is a small place - just nine rooms - and it feels like home. Happy to recommend Shintana Saya to anyone visiting Siem Reap - it is well worth it.

If you want to feel like royalty, stay at the Shintana Saya Residence. The service was truly exceptional, beyond our expectations for the price. We were continually greeted like we owned the hotel. Our complimentary ride from the airport was a nice perk, greeted with a cold beverage and a cool towel. It made entry to this new and wonderful County very easy. Thank you again to the hotel team for making our stay feel like a REAL vacation!

We loved, loved, loved our experience staying at the Shintana Saya House. Everything about the hotel was superb - but the hospitality was truly out of this world! This hotel provided transportation to and from the airport and free transportation around d Siem Reap via Tuk Tuk as well! We were treated for the airport with hot towels and fresh coconuts and then there was fresh fruit and wine awaiting us in our room. Beyond these unexpected amenities, the staff went above and beyond. For example - we had a luggage mishap and members of the staff helped us get back to the airport and helped translate to get it situated. The room was fabulous, the hotel restaurant was lovely, and the included breakfast was delicious. When we were picked up at 4am to see sunrise at Angkor Wat, the staff had boxes breakfast waiting at the front desk. And the restaurant staff remembers what we liked and didn’t like. (For example, the Cambodian breakfast soup on the menu is so so so good! But I don’t like carrots and so I ate around them. My second morning, they remembered and prepared the soup without carrots. The hotel was in a convenient location and also very quiet and relaxing. It was great to be able to come back in the heat of the day to relax by the pool before heading out for more exploration. We wish we had stayed longer in Angkor Wat and at this hotel! It was 100% the best place we stayed on a 17 day trip that included Singapore and Thailand as well.

I was amazed by how they treated us with no complaints or smugness on their faces. To be honest, we were quite demanding. There are no language barrier (English) which made communication easy. Thank you Shintana Saya. I would definitely come again. Highly recommended.

We arrived late at night and were thrilled to see the welcoming entrance, smiling staff ready to welcome us in. They had kept the kitchen open for us. Organized guide and car for Angkor Wat for next day. Rooms are spacious and each detail is beautifully designed - very modern version with traditional art and pottery. After our Angkor Wat sunrise tour, the breakfast was a great way to energize before continuing on the remaining sightseeing. Location is 10 min away by tuk-tuk to city center.

We had a great 5 day stay and enjoyed the beautiful room, pool, and outdoor area. The food at the restaurant was very good and we looked forward to breakfast every day. The entire staff was very kind and helpful and were easy to communicate with. Pick up from the airport was very easy. We also appreciated that Mr. Renna helped us book a guide and driver for Angkor Wat. Rocky, our guide, was fantastic and we learned a lot from him. He and our driver took great care of us and we enjoyed our time with them. The only thing that could be improved is the hotel having cash (USD or Riel) on hand to provide change for large USD bills. Most ATMs give you $50 or $100 bills and we sometimes struggled to get smaller bills for tips in town for smaller purchases. Again, great stay though and we highly recommend!

A group of 4 of us stayed here for 2 days (3 nights). This place is an oasis. I want to thank the entire staff as they not only made our stay amazing but also helped us on 2 occasions where things went wrong. First we had a luggage situation where one of our bags was mistakenly taken by another person at the airport and we ended up with the other (exactly the same looking luggage). The hotel took us back to the airport to the lost & found. The second incident is when we left, the hotel called our driver as he was dropping us off at the airport and informed us that one of us left our cell phone at the hotel. They sent someone bring it us at the airport! The driver refused a tip for the service. They were just happy just to help out. We are forever grateful for everyone working at this hotel. On top of all the great things that everyone has said in previous reviews, know that you will feel safe and taken care of at this hotel. The staff is always there to help if things don’t go according to plan. That is why you should stay at this hotel. I’m sure that there are other hotels with amenities that are the same as this, but knowing you have a staff that cares and that will help you out is why I would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to see Angkor Wat.
