The facilities were fantastic. Staff was above and beyond helpful, nothing was too much of a hassle. The bed was SUPER comfy and everything was immaculately clean. Both pools were perfect temperature. All round an incredible experience. Highly recommend.
WHERE TO BEGIN? WITH THE WELCOME SMILES WHICH STAY ON AS LONG AS YOU STAY? With the absolutely magnificent surrounds - all lush green, two swimming pools, a beautiful dining room with the possibility of sitting outside on a "hanging table", beautifully appointed guest rooms and the list goes on and on. The main thing is the warmth and dedication of the staff - all hand-picked and trained at the hotel by Christian and Chris. We might sound biased, after enjoying Jaya House hospitality a number of times, so, we recommend that you go there yourself and try it out - you won't be disappointed. Arkoun (thank you in Khmer) Jaya House
Our stay at Jaya House was extraordinary so there is lots to say. Rooms: Our family of 5 (2 adults/3teens) were perfectly housed in adjoining rooms. The rooms are very spacious and luxuriously appointed. Parents had a large king bedroom and our teens were accommodated with 3 large singles (not a rollaway in sight). The bathrooms are large and amenities included are the Jaya House Organics range all of which are divine (and for sale in the lobby). Free mini bar topped up daily. Fresh water in reusable bottles refilled at least once per day. Fresh fruit in the rooms daily and fresh flowers in the room daily. Rooms spotlessly cleaned each morning and again with the evening run down service. Lemongrass oil burning in the bathroom to ward off the mosquitoes and insect repellent also in the room. Coffee and house grown tea also in the room. Thoughtful touches that didn’t go un-noticed. Breakfast: Included in the tariff and is excellent. A set menu of varied breakfast items - some Khmer and some western. Also included were fresh breads and pastries, fresh juices and barista made coffee. Staff were attentive and remembered our coffee order. Perfect! Facilities: Pools (there are 2) are both amazing and definitely appreciated. Another attentive touch - fresh iced water brought to you poolside as well as home made ice cream (gratis). Skybar is stunning and gorgeous for sunset. Happy hour each day between 5-7pm Grounds are stunning and exceptionally maintained. All staff are friendly and attentive. Services: Concierge/lobby is a wonderful entrance to the hotel. Special shout-out to the owner Christian, whose vision in creating the hotel is extraordinary. He is a wealth of information and is kind and helpful. Nothing was too hard or a hindrance. We were picked up and dropped back to the airport in an air-conditioned mini van. Also special mention to Finn and Kim who were most helpful, kind and attentive to our family’s needs. Whenever we arrived back at the hotel we felt like we were returning home. They remembered our names, they recommended places to eat and were very caring. Other special touches include hand sanitiser on our return to the hotel and mosquito repellent whenever we left (both from the Jaya Organics range). Umbrellas at the ready for the monsoonal rains, including out front to keep us dry. The hotels tuk-tuks are fabulous and the drivers were all excellent - even keeping us dry and safe in a huge monsoonal downpour and waiting for us during dinner and shopping. We cannot recommend Jaya House highly enough. Do yourself a favour and stay here in Siem Reap!…
I was sent to Siem Reap for a filming project over two weeks and was lucky enough to be put up in Jaya House. The moment I walked I was breath taken. Aesthetically it was all beautiful but it was the smiles and the warm welcomes from the staff that had me feeling like I was coming home every day. Finn looked after our every need and Tey helped me out with some traditional clothing advice. Nothing was too much for the staff. All the food was fresh and delicious, the juices and drinks always cold and the COFFEE was AMAZING, but it is the staff that will keep me coming back every time.
My recent visit was a return visit to Jaya House. I am happy to say it was just as good as Pre covid times. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Dining facilities are available for breakfast and lunch with room service is available. Tuk tuks (local transport mode) are available for trips around town. I highly recommend 5is hotel for your next special stay in Siem Reap.
After a couple of year's absence, what an incredible homecoming at the amazing Jaya House!! This is STILL one of the absolute BEST HOTELS IN THE WORLD!! The team, the rooms, the facilities and the location - just doesn't get any better!! A peaceful oasis 5 minutes by tuk-tuk from the center of town, 2 pools and lush, beautifully maintained gardens. Great breakfast, a guestroom which was a wonderful oasis and the team..... Aahhhh, the team..... Natural warmth, care and professionalism - absolutely WORLD CLASS from the moment we were met at the airport to our farewell. Can't wait to be back again someday!!
This is my first time writing a Trip Advisor review, but Jaya House is one of the best hotels my husband and I have ever stayed at. We travel a lot, but have never experienced the above-and-beyond service like we did at Jaya House. My husband and I came here for part of our honeymoon, after our friends raved about the people, the food, and the service at this hotel. And I can honestly tell you it was beyond anything we could have imaged. We were greeted at the front entrance by the amazing, friendly staff with flowers when we first arrived. Then, Chris, the manager, sat with us at our arrival and helped us plan a blessing by monks and a visit to a local lotus farm. They also decorated our gorgeous room for us with lotus flowers, drinks, and a beautiful cheese platter and even left us a handwritten note wishing us a Happy Honeymoon! The breakfast is included in your stay and it is absolutely out of this world. We sat on the swinging tables they have outside, then we were sprayed by the staff with Jaya House’s own line of organic mosquito spray (that smells amazing and actually works!) and had the most delicious breakfast with fresh made pasteries and the traditional Khmer Kwi Tiev, a lemongrass noodle soup Cambodians have for breakfast. You can taste the attention to detail in the food they make because it’s delicious and fresh. One time, we wanted to have the homemade jackfruit ice cream the hotel made a few days earlier, but the flavor had changed, and one of the staff made sure to find some and make it for us! That is what you’ll experience at Jaya House. I really could go on . . .They made sure we had transportation to all our dinners/actives, sell amazing organic products (sanitizer, shampoo, lotion, etc) that smells amazing and is made by the staff, etc. If you go to Siem Reap and don’t stay here, it’s an absolute mistake. My husband and I will be back with the rest of my family, since they have heard how much we’ve raved about Jaya House and Cambodia. We fell in love with Cambodia and the people and know that was because of our amazing stay at Jaya House. To Penh, Kim, Hay, Tey, Chris, Key, Pak, and all the staff that made our trip so special and magic . . . Or-Khun (thank you!) We will be back!…
日本語は下部に I stayed at the Jaya house on the strong recommendation of my friend. I was very satisfied with the sophisticated space such as the entrance and the warm service of the friendly staff. They even brought the birthday cake to our room. ;) They are doing their best in spite of the difficult situation of the Corona disaster. I hope they keep up their excellent efforts!
We stayed for 7 nights at Jaya River House. What can I say other than perfection, from the minute we arrived everyone was outstanding. The hotel itself is very quiet away from all the outside noises, with a rooftop bar overlooking the river and 2 pools for relaxing in. We chose a room with a private plunge pool which we absolutely loved. Great location, you could safely walk around the river and surrounds or their own Tuk Tuks at the entrance were waiting to take you wherever you request. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options on the menu to choose from, perfect way to start your day and plan of adventures. We cannot thank Chris and his team enough for making our 1 first visit to Cambodia everything we had hoped for. We would also like to thank Christian for his care and attention when he had returned from his trip, his guidance of Ginger Tea for my tummy upset we very good. Thank you so much for everything.…
The hotel's teamwork manifested their resolute to be meticulous to all your comforts. A wonderful breakfast brightens your day further. The hotel staff strived to make your stay memorable by even providing a surprised cake, on my birthday, during our stay. Keep up the excellent work. Cheers
