My wife and I had booked at 17-day trip through Vietnam and Cambodia with G Adventures and Siem Reap was our final stop on the tour. The Grand Bayon is well located, only a short walk from the main street, where all the best bars and restaurants are. In addition, there was a small laundry business only a few yards along the road, on the opposite side of the road, which was efficient and cheap. Our room had decent air conditioning and a comfortable bed. We also had a safe in the room, as well as a hairdryer, but no iron or ironing board. There was also a television in the room, but it had only one channel in English. Our only disappointment with the hotel was the breakfast, which was poor in my opinion. Staff were friendly and efficient throughout the hotel and we were able to buy beer from the small bar in the dining area. The hotel also has a small but pleasant pool area, with a few sun loungers by the side. I enjoyed swimming there and having a cold beer in the sun after a day of sight-seeing. We stayed for three nights, as part of our itinerary, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone planning to visit Siem Reap.…

A nice hotel arranged in a horseshoe shape around a ground floor swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Reception and bar staff very attentive and respectful, lovely people. Great base to visit Angkor Wat and other temples in the area.
Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a G Adventures tour. Hotel is well located for the town, and access to restaurants etc. Pool nice and secluded, breakfast was good, and our room was spacious, and had a nice little balcony.
